Abstract

The research objective is to determine the integration between waiting times for dwelling time and loading unloading container of container terminals at Tanjung Priok Port. The research method used in this study was qualitative descriptive. The five container terminals studied at Tanjung Priok port are the Jakarta International Container Terminal, Koja, NIPCT1 container terminal, Mustika Alam Lestari and Terminal 1 New Port Container. The research problem is whether the reduction in Dwelling Time will be able to increase loading unloading Container capacity at container terminals at Tanjung Priok Portor not. The result shows that there is a positive integration of Dwelling Time specifically for loading and unloading imported containers in Tanjung Priok Port and is categorized as very high, with an average duration of seven years was 5.5 days. The results of this study are expected to be able to recommend how the decline in Dwelling Time could increase loading and unloading container capacity of container terminals at Tanjung Priok Port.

Abstract

The objectives of BRT are divided into three aspects; environment, social, and economics  Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Purwokerto and Purbalingga is new mass transportation. The route of BRT is from Bulupitu Bus Station to Bukateja Bus Station round trip. Unfortunately, the operation of the BRT is not fully supported by the community, especially ridership. Ridership involvement is very important to support sustainability transportation service. Data collection was carried out from 163 BRT ridership. The method used is descriptive statistics, including ridership demographics and experience. Moreover, parametric statistics are used to determine the level of significance of the relationship between demographic aspects and experience with ridership preferences. The results are in economics preferences, age range and travel time of ridership to the BRT stop are significant. Social preferences are influenced by routine of using BRT, ridership residential, travel time, and ridership waiting time at BRT stops. As environmental preferences criteria are influenced by work and the ridership age range. As a recommendation, BRT operators should improve the quality and quantity of services so that BRT becomes mass transportation that is environmentally friendly and able to meet the needs of the people in these two regions

Abstract

The  intent  of  this  study  to  analyze  the  optimization  of  highway  network  of  hospitals Fatmawati to Pondok Labu (UPN “Veteran“ Jakarta). Especially for measuring the ratio of the volume and capacity (V/C) of the facilities and infrastructure, given the congestion level above the tolerance within 2-3 km of the RS Fatmawati-UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, takes 2-3 hours the goal is to repair the target to be achieved to make people gain easy mobility around Pondok Labu Fatmawati according to their desired travel. Some of the recommendations suggested by research, must make a one-way flow (OWF) in the morning of Pondok Labu to Fatmawati hospital and vice versa for in the evening. Another recommendation is proposed, so that the dividing line in front of the giant malls are also eliminated, there is no parking along the road, a road equipped, disciplined pass-traffic control and also realocation Market Pondok Labu.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to apply the method of Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) Method to accelerate product distribution and minimize the use of fuel. The method of VRP is one of the solutions to find the shortest route from 57 locations in Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi), four locations in Bandung, and three locations in Surabaya. The result shows that the most efficient method of VRP is by combining the heuristics and meta-heuristics – simulated annealing methods which reduce the distance about 11.79 % in Jabodetabek, 0 % in Bandung, and 8.98 % in Surabaya.
