Abstract

Research aims to analyze the application of Six Sigma in order to support the improvement of fabrication process capabilities. The improvement of fabrication process capability is expected to have an impact on the overall reduction in production and logistics costs, which we called a supply chain costs. A case study at a fabrication company was carried out to calculate the capability of the fabrication process and make improvements by applying the Six Sigma method. In this case, product quality that produced from the fabrication process largely determines the supply chain costs incurred by the company. Minitab software is also used in processing and analyzing data. This research shows that improving the fabrication process capability has an impact on reducing product defects so that supply chain costs are lower. Research provides an illustration for the industry that continuous improvement with the aim of reducing the occurrence of product defects will not only have an impact on reducing production costs, but also on logistics costs. As the Six Sigma method implemented, the number of defective products has decreased from 8 pcs per 100 pcs Collar products to 0 pc from 100 pcs Collar products. Fabrication process capability of PT BMT reaches Cpk 5.94 with the sigma value 6 Sigma. The implementation of the Six Sigma method also has a positive impact on overall supply chain costs, with a reduction in supply chain costs of 7.6%. So that PT BMT has a fabrication process that is more effective and efficient.

Abstract

One of the potential that can be used to solve the congestion problem that occurred in the city of Makassar is by utilizing channels as urban transport medium. Makassar City has three channels with an overall length of 15.11 km, which two of them can be used as a water transport medium. The channels consist of Jongayya Channel (7.83 km), and Panampu Channel (4.92 km). Channel transportation can be one solution to reduce the congestion problems that occurred in the city of Makassar. The purpose of this study is to determine demand potential of waterwa y-based transport modes on Channel Panampu and Jongaya, factors that affect the willingness to use channel as a transportation medium, to identify user preferences related to channel planning as a transportation medium, and to identify the extent to which the role of the channel to become alternative transportation medium. To achieve these objectives, this study used a descriptive-quantitative methods approach. And were subsequently used crosstab analysis method, multinomial logistic regression and approach with stated preference methods.

Abstract

The study entitled “Analysis Comparison of Satisfaction Passenger Against the Service Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport in Jakarta and Bandung Husein Sastranegara Airport in 2015” was conducted to determine and analyze the quality comparison service consisting of responsiveness, assurance, tangibles, empathy and reliability to consumer satisfaction on Hussein Airport Sastranegara and Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport. This study was conducted to determine and analyze the dominant service quality dimensions that influence satisfaction. The benefits of this research is to get a general idea about the services at Soekarno Hatta and Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport in Jakarta. To determine the level of satisfaction of passengers on each variable services at Bandung Husein Sastranegara Airport and Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the area of Soekarno-Hatta, Cengkareng. The purpose ofthis study is to determine the conformity between Soekarno-Hatta airport KKOP and the Local Government Regulation of Tangerang City. The method used in this study is a survey method or field study and at the explanatory-descriptive level. The methods of data collection are documentation, interviews, and observation. The result of the study can be concluded through the role of the Tangerang City government in making the 2012-2023 spatial  plan  of  Tangerang  City,  recommendations  on  safety  area  for  flight  operation against the local government regulation on the building conbstruction Tangerang City which have been made by the local government and the Regional Airport Authority I of Soekarno-Hatta  Airport,  and  conclusions  regarding  the  conformity between  Soekarno- Hatta Airport KKOP and Local Government Regulation of Tangerang City implemented in the Development Activity Plan of space structure plan consisting of the main activities of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Supporting Activities of Green Open Space, Land Use Plan.

Abstract

Fenomena tabrakan orang pada perjalanan kaki di pedestrian, termasuk zebra cross, menciptakan penundaan perjalanan dan berpengaruh pada inefisiensi ekonomi. Penelitian intervensi ini mencoba untuk menguji efektivitas dari penggunaan provincial norm, sebagai jenis norma yang menggunakan identitas spasial yang lebih dekat pada subjek, dalam membentuk perilaku menyeberang di sisi kiri zebra cross, yang diaplikasikan pada sekaligus dibandingkan dengan penggunaan injunctive norm biasa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan desain A-B-A time series analysis with two comparison group. Setelah melakukan pengukuran selama tiga pekan pada empat titik penyeberangan di Universitas Indonesia, dibuktikan bahwa penggunaan teknik intervensi memanfaatkan provincial norm secara signifikan berhasil membentuk perilaku menyeberang di sisi kiri zebra cross dibandingkan penggunaan injunctive norm biasa. Pembentukan perilaku menyeberang di sisi kiri ini juga memiliki pengaruh pada pengurangan terjadinya tabrakan orang di penyeberangan zebra cross.

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan pada PT. Garuda Indonesia khususnya pada kantor penjualan cabang Emporium Pluit Mall Jakarta periode Maret sampai dengan April 2012. Ada dua metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pertama metode pengumpulan data yang diambil di lapangan/survey dan metode studi literatur. Kedua, analisis data dengan menggunakan skala likert, analisa regresi, analisa koefisien determinasi, dan uji hipotesis. 100 responden dilibatkan dalam studi ini dan hasilnya menunjukkan, hubungan yang kuat. Hasil uji hipotesis didapat t hitung> t tabel (8.4009 > 1.020) yang berarti H0 ditolak, H1 diterima. Artinya ada hubungan signifikan antara variabel kualitas (X) dan variabel loyalitas pelanggan (Y).

Abstract

Bogor is popular for its tourist destinations among visitors. With the increasing number of domestic tourist arrivals, especially from the surrounding areas and Bogor itself, the availability of adequate public transportation is a must to support the tourism industry in the city. However, tourists prefer to use private vehicles for a visit that contributes to the increasingly severe traffic jams, especially in tourist destinations. This study aims to identify the preferences of tourist groups of public transport users and find out what factors drive them to use public transport in tourist areas. This study took place in Bogor Botanical Gardens and collected questionnaires from 401 respondents, meanwhile statistical analysis used was non-parametric chi-square test and confirmatory factor analysis. The result shows demographic factors affect the preferences of the use of public transportation, the difference in the level of satisfaction of tourists group of public transport users (regular users, infrequent users, and low users) to public transportation services in Bogor, and the similarity of main factors driving each group of tourists to use public transportation to do tourist activities in Bogor.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the relationship of strategic management, organizational culture and employees’ empowerment with service quality. This research is carried on at PT Sillo Bahari Nusantara using quantitative approach with survey method. The population of this study is the employees at PT Sillo Bahari Nusantara Jakarta 2015. The samples used in this study are 50 respondents which are selected randomly. The data is analyzed using descriptive statistic technic and parametric inferential. Based on data analysis it can be concluded that all the independent variables like strategic management, organizational culture, and employees’ empowerment have a positive and strong relation towards service quality, either partially or simultaneously. Therefore, the service quality can be increased by improving strategic management, organizational culture and employees’ empowerment.

Abstract

The objective of this study  is to determine the influence of service quality and brand images to customer satisfaction and its impact on customer loyalty in PT Freight Solution Indonusa. The research population is all the customers export and import 200 customers. Number of sample is using Slovin formula 133 customers. The data obtained and collected through the instrument by a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data, then analyzed using path analysis. The results of the calculation and the test data can be concluded that quality of service and brand image  influenced on customer satisfaction and  have an impact on customer loyalty. Therfore, the quality of service and a good brand image will create customer satisfaction and  enhance customer loyalty.

Abstract

Communities in general are in urgent need of public transportation beside private vehicles as a means of supporting the transportation of daily activities to meet their needs. The problem in big cities in Indonesia is urban transportation, especially big cities that are crowded like in JABODETABEK. The increasing number of residents of South Tangerang city is 3.27% high and the increase of the number of both motorcycles and four wheels is not followed by the improvement of urban public transportation service quality. Communities also negatively assess public services, especially urban transport that makes them choose to use private vehicles that can cause problems lannya social problems plus the lack of regulation in the use of private vehicles. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the relationship of urban public transportation concept which influenced by service quality, perceived value and government regulation.The research method used is Structural Equation Modeling LISREL with population of urban transport passengers in south tangerang with 400 respondents. The result of this research shows that consumer behavior is influenced by service quality, perceived value an. And there is a positive mediation effect of service quality and perceived value on consumer behavior
