Abstract

Human resources (HR) play a vital role in determining the success of an organization, especially in the rapidly growing digital creative industry. Generation Z, who have grown up in the era of technology and digitalization, possess characteristics that distinguish them from previous generations, such as high technological skills, the ability to adapt quickly, and a tendency to seek meaning in their work. In the context of a creative company like Monsia Creative, which operates in video production, photography, graphic design, and digital marketing, managing the potential of Generation Z is crucial to ensure their contribution to creating innovation and optimal productivity. The performance of Generation Z in this industry is influenced by several factors, such as flexibility in working hours and location, opportunities for skill development, and a supportive work environment. They tend to be more productive and motivated when given freedom in organizing their work and when their contributions are recognized. An inclusive work atmosphere, along with opportunities for personal development, is also essential in boosting employee loyalty and engagement. To maximize the potential of Generation Z, companies like Monsia Creative need to create an environment that fosters creativity, provide continuous training, and manage policies that support a balance between work and personal life to improve their satisfaction and productivity within the company.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the leadership style of the village head (Lurah) in influencing the dynamics and activities of residents in Bandar Kidul Urban Village, Mojoroto District, Kediri City. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The informants included village officials, neighborhood leaders (RT/RW), youth organization leaders, and community figures. The findings reveal that the Lurah adopts a participatory and communicative leadership style that encourages active citizen involvement in development programs and community activities. The Lurah has successfully fostered synergy among residents, enhanced community cohesion, and effectively facilitated public aspirations. These findings indicate that an adaptive and inclusive leadership style is a key factor in building harmonious social relations and improving the quality of community life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job rotation on employee performance with work-life balance as a mediating variable at the Kediri Customs Office. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, data were collected from 83 active employees through a closed questionnaire. Data analysis employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that job rotation has a positive effect on work-life balance and directly improves employee performance. Work-life balance also positively influences performance and mediates the effect of job rotation on performance. These findings suggest that structured and planned job rotation can enhance employee skills, reduce burnout, and support a healthier work environment, ultimately boosting organizational performance..

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas isu inti mengenai pengawasan yang belum optimal dan upaya anti-korupsi di pemerintah daerah, yang seringkali disebabkan oleh alokasi anggaran yang tidak memadai untuk Aparat Pengawasan Intern Pemerintah (APIP) serta keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan kompetensi APIP. Secara spesifik, terdapat disparitas yang mencolok antara target dan realisasi aktual anggaran pengawasan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengelolaan sumber daya manusia APIP dan efektivitas anggaran pengawasan terhadap capaian kinerja Inspektorat Daerah Kabupaten Nganjuk. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini mengambil sampel bertujuan dari 35 personel APIP di Inspektorat Daerah Kabupaten Nganjuk. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua instrumen penelitian valid dan reliabel. Meskipun asumsi normalitas tidak terpenuhi, data lolos uji multikolinearitas dan heteroskedastisitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan linier yang kuat dan positif antara pengelolaan sumber daya manusia APIP, efektivitas anggaran pengawasan, dan kinerja Inspektorat, dengan 58,4% variasi kinerja dapat dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor ini. Meskipun terdapat kendala anggaran, kinerja Inspektorat tetap tinggi, yang mengindikasikan adanya strategi mitigasi internal yang efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of village funds and their impact on infrastructure development and community welfare in Tunggulsari Village, Kedungwaru District, Tulungagung Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to residents and village officials. The variables examined include transparency, participation, fund usage effectiveness, quality of village government human resources, and fund management infrastructure as independent variables, with community trust, government-community communication, and social welfare as mediating variables, and infrastructure, economic welfare, public services, and social inequality as dependent variables. The results indicate that effective village fund management significantly influences infrastructure development and enhances community welfare. These findings highlight the importance of transparency and active community participation in the planning and implementation processes of village fund management.

Abstract

The use of digital wallets among students is growing rapidly and provides ease of transactions, but it also triggers consumptive behavior. This study aims to analyze the consumptive behavior of students using digital wallets in Kendal Regency and review it from the perspective of sharia economics. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive with interview and questionnaire methods. The data was analyzed using inductive techniques through the stages of collection, reduction, and interpretation. The results showed that 82% of college students have consumptive tendencies, characterized by impulse purchases, the use of promotions without considering needs, and the use of digital wallets for non-priority consumption. Environmental, lifestyle, psychological, and friendship factors have been shown to encourage this behavior. Sharia economic analysis confirms that this behavior is contrary to the principles of proportionality, responsibility, and the prohibition of israf (excess) and tabdzir (waste). This study recommends Islamic financial literacy and Islamic value-based education as an effort to reduce student consumptive behavior. These findings make a theoretical contribution to the study of digital financial behavior and practical implications for universities, society, and financial regulators.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze managerial leadership, turnover intention , influencing factors, and company efforts to reduce turnover intention at Logistics Company in Kediri Region. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through interviews, direct observation, and documentation from various informants, including 8 Hub Leaders at Logistics Company in Kediri Region. The results show that the leadership style at Logistics Company in Kediri Region combines transformational, democratic, and participative approaches, with effective managerial functions, although communication and decision-making processes need improvement. The turnover intention is relatively high, particularly among operational employees, due to job dissatisfaction, heavy workload, and limited career development. Managerial leadership is influenced by work experience, leadership style, and communication skills, while turnover intention is driven by job satisfaction, workload, compensation, and coworker relationships. The company has taken steps to mitigate turnover intention by improving communication, providing training, and revising compensation systems, though further efforts in career development and workload balance are required.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Tulungagung Regency in utilizing the budget during recess activities. The main focus is to assess how well the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the recess budget are conducted in an effective, efficient, and accountable manner. A quantitative approach was employed, using survey methods through questionnaires distributed to respondents consisting of DPRD members, secretariat staff, and community beneficiaries. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results indicate that DPRD performance in budget utilization during recess is generally adequate, although challenges remain in terms of transparency, reporting documentation, and community involvement in decision-making processes. This research recommends enhancing the institutional capacity of the DPRD and strengthening the reporting and monitoring systems to optimize the impact of the recess budget on society

Abstract

Pandemi Covid yang telah kita lalui beberapa waktu yang lalu telah membuat kita untuk cepat membiasakan diri dengan hal baru (new normal). Sebagai tindak lanjut atas arahan Presiden Joko Widodo mengenai penanganan penyebaran Covid-19, pemerintah mengeluarkan Surat Edaran Menteri PANRB Nomor 19 Tahun 2020 yang mengatur penyesuaian sistem kerja Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) guna mencegah penyebaran virus di lingkungan instansi pemerintah. Kebijakan ini menuntut peralihan dari pola kerja tradisional ke sistem kerja berbasis digital, mengingat pelaksanaan kerja dari rumah tidak boleh menghentikan jalannya administrasi pemerintahan. Untuk mendukung penerapan kerja jarak jauh, Kementerian Keuangan menggunakan aplikasi Naskah Dinas Elektronik (Nadine). Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk mendukung otomasi perkantoran dan memastikan penggunaan sistem persuratan yang lebih efisien dan terpadu di lingkungan Kementerian Keuangan. Fitur-fitur Nadine yang mendukung efektivitas meliputi integrasi dengan sistem lain, akses online dengan perangkat seluler di mana serta kapan saja, penerapan tanda tangan elektronik, serta kemudahan dalam proses penyaringan dan pelaporan dokumen. Dari sisi efisiensi, Nadine membantu mengurangi penggunaan kertas dan layanan kurir konvensional. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan wawancara (data primer) serta observasi penggunaan aplikasi Nadine (data sekunder). Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengolah, menyajikan, lalu menarik sebuah kesimpulan dari data yang didapat. Temuan memperlihatkan bahwasanya penggunaan Nadine pada Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Kediri, Dirjen Pajak, Kementerian Keuangan terbukti efisien serta efektif untuk mendukung peningkatan mutu kerja, produktivitas, serta ketepatan waktu pegawai untuk mencapai sasaran organisasi.

Abstract

Civil Servants (ASN) play a strategic role as implementers of public policy, contributing significantly to the success of bureaucracy, public service delivery, and national development. Law Number 5 of 2014 underscores the duties of ASN in public service, governance, and development, thereby requiring them to possess high levels of competence, integrity, and work ethic to realize good governance. To support this, the government has established the Core Values of ASN, known as BerAKHLAK, which consist of: Service-Oriented, Accountable, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative. These core values serve as the foundation for cultivating a positive work ethic, which in turn drives productivity and employee responsibility, ultimately influencing performance. A quantitative study was conducted involving 37 ASN employees in the General Affairs Division of the Regional Secretariat of Blitar Regency. The objective was to analyze the relationship between work ethic, grounded in BerAKHLAK values, and employee performance in the division. The results of hypothesis testing using linear regression analysis revealed a significant influence of work ethic on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.000 and a t-value of 7.681. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening a work ethic based on BerAKHLAK values to enhance ASN performance, which is essential for organizational advancement and improved public service delivery.
