This research is motivated by the difficulty of understanding the kandou meaning contained in a conversation so that it can lead to misundertsandings in interpreting the meaning that the speaker wants to convey. The objectives of this study were to the meaning of kandoushi kandou contained ini the animated series Isshukan Friend. The purpose of this research is to find out what kandoushi kandou are contained ini the animated series Isshukan Friend and to know the meaning contained there in. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data ini this study are words or sentences which contain kandoushi kandou spoken by characters ini the animated series Isshukan Friend. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself. In this research, 13 data on kandoushi kandou were found. Kandoushi kandou which were found, namely; 1) ee means to express a feeling of surprise, 2) maa means to express a feeling amazed, 3) are means to express a feeling of weird and surprise, 4) hora means to express a feeling of surprise and pressure, 5) aa means to express a feeling of regret, and 6) hee means to express a feeling of surprise.

This study aims to describe the variations and principles of politeness in the use of kanyuu hyougen in the anime kaguya-sama wa kokurasetai: tensai-tachi no renai zunousen. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data of this study is a dialogue containing kanyuu hyougen and the data source used is the anime kaguya-sama wa kokurasetai: tensai-tachi no renai zunousen episodes 1 to 10. Tthe results of this study showed that there were 35 data of kanyuu hyogen which were classified into 3 forms; 1) ishi no hyougen in the form of invites 27 data; 2) ishi no hyougen in the form of question 5 data; 3) hitei gimon no katachi 3 data. Then based on principle of politeness, there were 22 data which were accordance with the principles of politeness and 13 data which were contrary to the principles of politeness.

This research is motivated by the students ability to master Japanese vocabulary. Based on interview with teachers and the result of students answer from questionnare, the authors found several obstacles experienced by students, namely first, learning media is needed that attracts students interest. Second, the difficulty of students in remembering japanese vocabulary is still lacking. Third, student learning outcomes on mastery of japanese vocabulary are still low.The purpose of this study to describe the effectiveness flash card media in mastering Japanese vocabulary for Grade Xl IPS class students of SMAN 3 Padang Panjang. This research is Quantitative research using quasi-experiment. This research use posttest-only control group design and use purposive sampling technique. The population of this research are the Xl grade IPS students who consisted of 5 classes, namely Xl IPS1-Xl IPS 5 with the number of 151 people.The samples of this study are class Xl IPS 3 as the control class of 13 people,and class Xl IPS 5 as the experimental class of 14 people.Treatment in this research are 3 times. In the Japanese language education listening skill know as choukai. but For students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program at Padang State University, there must be difficulties affecting students in terms of internal and external factors. Based on the preliminary study conducted by the researcher, it was found that there were some difficulties in learning choukai, therefore the authors decided to research and search more fully the factors that cause choukai learning difficulties.This study aims to describe the factors that cause difficulties in learning choukai at 2019 academic year students of Japanese Language Education Study Program, the type of research is descriptive quantitative. The populations of this study was amounted to 59 students. The sample of the study was the entire population using a total sampling technique, namely all students in the 2019 Japanese Language Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Padang. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire with a likert scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive with percentage. The result of this study were obtained factors that cause difficulties to learn listening students are, internal factors 1) the students physical condition on decline or sick, 2) students experience not used to communicating with native speakers. Exsternal factors 1) the speaking style factor, the speaker which is too fast, 2) the speaker factor that uses the hatsuon is very fast cause students have difficulty getting informasion.

This study examines the phobia phenomenon on character Tokujira Aoi from manga Ookami Shounen wa Kyou mau Uso wo Kasaneru created by namo. The reason for this study is because, amongst the character with phobia in any anime or manga, Tokujira Aoi is one of androphobia character that not using any violence nor passive-aggressive behaviour toward the subject of her fear, which is male. Therefore, the purpose of the study of this study is to examine how reaction of androphobia occurs on Tokujira Aoi. The data source of this study is using the dialogues between Tokujira Aoi and other characters on manga Ookami Shounen wa Kyou mau Uso wo Kasaneru. Reading and note-taking procedures are used in this study, which also utilized a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The data analysis presentation is by using informal method which the data presented by word-by-word descriptive explanation. The result on this study are concluded that androphobia phenomenon on Tokujira Aoi is classified a specific phobia. Tokujira Aoi has two reaction regarding her fear of man, which are physical and emotional reaction, that caused by trauma.

This study aims to see how strong the relationship between reading manga habits and students' kanji abilities is. The design of this study is a correlation design. The population in this study amounted to 100 students. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with a sample of 80 students. This study uses a questionnaire to see the habit of reading manga and a test to determine the students' kanji ability. The results of this study are: First, the average value of students' habits in reading manga is 77.33. Second, the students' kanji ability is 82.25. Third, the correlation coefficient of the two variables; manga reading habit and kanji ability is 0.784. Thus, the researcher proves that is rejected and is accepted, meaning that there is a significant relationship between students' habits in reading manga and students' kanji abilities.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penguasaan Goi siswa kelas XI SMA N 4 Pariaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah permainan mencocokkan kata dengan gambar berpengaruh terhadap penguasaan goi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Pariaman. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 15 orang dan siswa kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 15 orang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa tes objektif pilihan ganda. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,2 > 1,70. dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari permainan mencocokkan kata dengan gambar terhadap penguasaan goi siswa SMA Negeri 4 Pariaman.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa kendala yang dihadapi siswa dalam mempelajari goi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah media card sort efektif dalam penguasaan goi siswa kelas X IPS SMAN 7 Padang. Metode yang digunakan daam penelitian ini adalah kuantitaif dengan jenis eksperimen semu, desain penelitian yaitu one group pretest posttest desain. Populasi dalam penilitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 7 Padang yang belajar bahasa Jepang dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 159 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 40 orang siswa kelas X IPS 1. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes tertulis berbentuk objektif. Hasil penelitian yaitu hipotesis diterima, hal itu dapat dilihat dari thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (8,95 >2,00). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media card sort efektif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan goi siswa kelas X IPS SMAN 7 Padang.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom berbasis video pada pembelajaran moji goi atau pembelajaran huruf dan kosakata. Siswa yang menjadi responden penelitian adalah siswa semester satu dan tiga Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Universitas Negeri Padang. Kegiatan di kelas lebih terfokus kepada siswa daripada hanya menyimak penjelasan materi. Karena siswa sudah memahami konsep materi sebelum mengikut pembelajaran. Model ini efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran moji goi yang banyak aktiftas driil secara mandiri. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket terbuka, kemudian digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menjabarkan hasil dan pembahasan. Dari penelitian ini dapat dipahami bahwa penerapan model ini pada perkuliahan sangat disukai oleh siswa, mereka menjadi lebih percaya diri dan kegiatan dikelas bisa lebih terfokus pada pemantapan materi.

“Analysis of the causes of difficulty in learning kanji for students of Japanese language education study program”. Thesis. Japanese Language Education Study Program, Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Language and Arts, Padang State University. This study aims to find out what are the causes of students' difficulties in learning kanji in the Japanese Language Education Study Program, Padang State University. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study amounted to 60 students. The sample in this study was the entire population using total sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive with percentages. The results of this study are the average of the questionnaires causing difficulty in learning kanji Japanese Language Education Study Program, Padang State University, which obtained results of 70.65% based on the category classified as "High". Which has a low impact meaning on causing kanji learning difficulties. Both in terms of external and internal.
