Abstract

The implementation of children's collaborative abilities is a challenge for teachers and parents in creating science learning as a process. Where, students will create science-based works carried out in stages. Science as a process has a complex level of difficulty with a gradual level of difficulty. The purpose of describing collaborative abilities and science learning. The researcher's methodology uses classroom action (CAR), the researcher has a strategy in providing actions to overcome every problem-solving in the class. So that it can be done communicatively in the form of active collaboration. with observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The results of research and learning are carried out based on learning strategy planning, determining learning techniques, and improvement results. The learning strategy emphasizes theme selection and creating creative learning strategies, while the learning techniques use object analysis, experiments, and loose parts. The collaborative concept is carried out in the form of internal teamwork, individual collaboration, and collaboration with external teams/parents. The results of the improvement show that the data for meeting cycle 1 reaches 37.5% - 70%. Meeting cycle 2 reaches 51% - 75%, meeting cycle 3 reaches 65% - 82%. The average cycle results for each meeting reached 54.5% for meeting 1, 63% for meeting 2, and 73% for meeting 3. Therefore, the data shows a significant increase in collaborative skills in science learning from cycle 1 to cycle 2 at each meeting. This represents the latest innovation in learning, in terms of learning strategies, learning techniques, and learning media in every lesson for early childhood.

Abstract

The role of parents in providing guidance is very influential in the growth and development of children. Children will see role models from both parents until the time the child will grow up. This is determined by the concept of parenting patterns given to children. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of parents in instilling a character of discipline and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of implementation at home for children in group B at RA Nurul Ulum Poncokusumo-Malang. The research methodology used is qualitative-descriptive, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results and discussions obtained have been triangulated to find the validity of the data, findings of the role of parents in instilling a character of discipline to design a balanced parenting pattern. The goal of discipline is a priority in child development, because it will support children's lives in understanding rules and boundaries everywhere. The character of discipline is very important and will be found in the social environment and the work environment. Therefore, education at home and at school provides a pattern of habits for children related to discipline patterns. Factors that influence if parents are unable to provide time for children to provide guidance during the growth period of early childhood. Furthermore, many parents are busy working without supervising their children at home or using technology. This hinders children from developing a disciplined character, a trait that will carry with them into adulthood. Furthermore, a child's disciplined character will stabilize their social and emotional development.

Abstract

The mathematics learning of early childhood education will be used in the theme of simple number operations. To be applied in everyday life. Mathematics has. The purpose of the study is to describe metacognitive abilities in mathematics learning through simple number operations. The research methodology used is classroom action research (Action Research) using observation data, interviews, and documentation and classroom actions through two cycles including cycle I and cycle II for six meetings. The results and discussion of the study found the importance of mathematics learning by designing appropriate learning strategies. Learning strategies are related to learning techniques that will be presented such as mathematics learning techniques using creative and innovative games. It is proven that the overall data analysis on the average pre-cycle results reached 55% with the technique of recognizing numbers orally. Then, the cycle at the first meeting achieved an average result of 71.25% with a learning concept that combines story problems and playing number classification with number symbols. The results of the cycle at the second meeting achieved an average result of 77.5% with the concept of learning to arrange symbolic numbers and guess numbers and number symbols. Meanwhile, the cycle's third meeting achieved 89.5% success rate, incorporating the concept of learning mathematics through memory circuit games and learning mathematics through an outdoor setting. This demonstrates the success of children's critical thinking skills through stages of understanding supported by innovative and creative learning strategies. Metacognitive skills, as a form of critical problem-solving, contribute to the realization of the concept of enjoyable mathematics learning.
