Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study to describe the effectiveness of learning Indonesian MKU courses using online technology for Informatics Education Study Program students at Hamzanwadi University in 2022. Online learning uses the Google Meeting, Zoom Meeting, WhatsApp, and LMS platforms. Sources of data in the form of questionnaires or questionnaires and interviews. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire technique with 45 respondents and the interview technique includes several stages, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, online learning in MKU Indonesian courses uses laptop technology 60% and mobile phones 40%, while the percentage of students using learning platforms prefers to learn using Zoom Meetings with a percentage of 50%, Google Meetings 30%, LMS 10%, and WhatsApp 10%. While the effectiveness of online learning methods, 60% of students stated that they were very effective, and 31% were less effective, and 8% were not effective. While the results of interviews 90% of students chose to study online, and 10% chose offline. From the results of the data, it was concluded that online learning was very effective in MKU Indonesian courses during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The process of unifying values in one's self through appreciation, understanding, instilling, and fostering a value, attitude, teaching or belief from the surrounding environment then blends and becomes knowledge that influences one's life then is reflected in his daily behavior which is carried out intensively and continuously with the aim of always maintaining Islamic teachings, especially for students and graduates. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation which were analyzed descriptively. While the data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the internalization of Islamic teachings in Islamic boarding schools-based educational institutions in forming religious graduates starts from the process of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating or supervising. This is in line with the support from the resources involved from the school by using learning strategies, habituation, and punishment. The supporting and inhibiting factors for the internalization of Islamic teachings in Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions for students and graduates are seen from the personal background itself which is heterogeneous, the carrying capacity of all school members and infrastructure.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how interested fifth-grade students were in learning about science and to see if the use of Pop-Up Books as a learning tool had a big effect on students' interest in learning about science in class V. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a None-equivalent Control Group Design and a sampling method called "purposive sampling." This study looked at 75 fifth-grade students from SDN Batu 3 Bogor, which were divided into two class groups, namely class VB as the experimental group who took part in learning using Pop Up Book media and class VA as the control group who took part in learning using ordinary learning media. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The questionnaire used by researchers according to its type is a closed questionnaire, which is a questionnaire that provides various alternative answers, and the respondent only needs to choose the appropriate answer. The form of the questionnaire in this study was 26 choices using 4 alternative answers, namely, strongly agree (SS), agree (S), disagree (TS), and strongly disagree (STS). The data analysis technique used in this study used the t-test with the help of the SPSS version 23.0 computer. The results of the study show that, based on the data from the previous research, there is a link between the use of Pop Up Book learning media and students' interest in learning about science. The results of research on students' learning interests. Following are the average scores of the two classes. From the two classes, it is explained that the average post-test score is 59.2. Meanwhile, the control class got an average posttest score of 47.0 with a difference in the value of 12.1.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to validate performance-based assessment in mathematics (Quantitative Reasoning) for Senior High Schools for Differential Item Functioning (DIF). The study sought to found out if the five-items on a newly developed performance-based assessment in mathematics (quantitative reasoning items) has DIF. The study employed descriptive research design embedded in Graded Response Model (GRM). Stratified, census, simple random sampling and purposive samplings procedures were employed to select 750 SHS Three students in the Western Region from three categories of SHS. The Performance-based assessment test was used as the main data collection instruments. Data were analyzed with winGEN and independent t test using SPSS. It was also found that with the exception of the linear equation item that showed DIF for category A and C schools, there was no presence of DIF in the items for both gender and category of school. Based on the findings, it was recommended that performance-based assessment should be an integral part in the methods of assessment lessons and courses at both the colleges of education and universities and that major method of assessment strategy in teaching and learning of mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian merupakan penelitian tindak kelas dengan memfoluskan kajian pada aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam keterampilan membaca cepat dengan metode menejemen kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP IT NWDI Pancor Kopong pada kelas VIII tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian Tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari tiga siklus. Setiap siklus diselesaikan pada 1 kali pertemuan. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP IT NWDI Pancor Kopong, dokumen yang relevan dan nilai keterampilan membaca cepat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes keterampilan membaca (teks) cepat dengan kecepatan 230-250 kata per menit. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif komparatif dan dan teknik analisis kritis. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan membaca cepat siswa setelah dilaksanakannya dua siklus tindakan. Peningkatan tersebut terlihat dari siswa yang mendapat nilai kriteria ketuntasan belajar yang dicapai yaitu 89,7 % dengan ketuntasan secara klasikal yang ditunjukkan hasil tes kemampuan membaca cepat pada siklus III merupakan angka di atas ketuntasan belajar yang dipersyaratkan, yakni 85 %. Dengan berpedoman pada kriteria keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan pada bab III, yakni apabila 85 % subyek penelitian telah berhasil memperoleh nilai di atas kriteria ketuntasan minimal 75, maka tindakan yang diberikan kepada subyek penelitian telah berhasil mencapai target pada siklus III.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku agresif pada siswa SMPN 3 Jatiagung Lampung Selatan. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku agresif siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMPN 3 Jatiagung Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 228 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik proportional stratified random sampling. Dalam penelitian ini skala yang digunakan adalah skala perilaku agresif dan skala kontrol diri. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan program SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Science). Teknik analisis menggunakan Spearman’s rho yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai rxy = -0,589 dimana p = 0,000 dan (p < 0,05) sehingga ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku agresif pada siswa SMPN 3 Jatiagung Lampung Selatan, sehingga hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antara variabel kontrol diri dan perilaku agresif terdapat hubungan yang arahnya negatif, yang berarti jika kontrol diri siswa rendah, maka perilaku agresifnya tinggi, begitupun sebaliknya, jika kontrol diri siswa tinggi, maka perilaku agresif siswa rendah. Variabel kontrol diri memberikan kontribusi sebesar 34,69% pada perilaku agresif siswa SMPN 3 Jatiagung Lampung Selatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menekankan kepada peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi canva dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan iHT di masa pandemi Covid 19. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) dengan empat langkah pokok, yaitu: perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 18 guru mata pelajaran di SMAN 3 Bandar Lamung. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat kesimpulan bahwa pelaksanaan iHT terbukti mampu meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi canva. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan peningkatan hasil penilaian kompetensi guru-guru di SMAN 3 Bandar Lampung dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi canva di mana pada kondisi awal rata-rata nilai 45,88 dan masuk dalam kategori Kurang (K), meningkat pada siklus pertama dengan rata-rata nilai 70,93 dan masuk dalam kategori Cukup (C) dan pada siklus kedua dengan rata-rata nilai 90,40 dan masuk dalam kategori Baik (B). Adapun peningkatan kompetensi guru-guru di SMAN 3 Bandar Lampung dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi canva secara individu pada kondisi awal belum ada guru yang dinyatakan tuntas, pada siklus pertama 10 guru atau 55,56% dinyatakan tuntas dan pada siklus kedua 18 guru atau 100% dinyatakan tuntas.

Abstract

The application of evaluation in education has many benefits, this is evident by the benefits provided both to teachers, policy users, parents and also the community, as a process of evaluating and measuring effectiveness in the implementation of education that has been implemented. One of the evaluation models commonly applied in education is the CIPP (Context-Input-Process-Product) model developed by Stufflebeam. It is hoped that this research can examine more deeply the implementation of the evaluation of the CIPP model in education. This study used a pure library research method with an analytical descriptive approach. The implementation of the CIPP model in education includes 4 stages or evaluation objects, First, Context Evaluation which includes the concept of goals, objectives and implementation planning; Second, Input Evaluation, which includes a thorough evaluation regarding the availability of resources and potential in program implementation; Third, Process Evaluation, which includes compliance with planning, maximizing resources, process constraints and others; Fourth, Product Evaluation, which includes the results of program implementation by reviewing reports and assessments of each related element and providing recommendations on program implementation.

Abstract

Students today are a digital native generation, which since birth have been surrounded and familiar with the development of ICT. So that this generation has different characters including learning styles. To be able to keep up with and follow the learning styles of students, a teacher is required to have skills in literacy, especially digital literacy. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and data collection using questionnaires, interviews, literature study, and triangulation. Furthermore, the determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive approach and deepened with qualitative analysis. The results of the research show that the digital literacy competencies of MA teachers in Bandar Lampung are seen from the categories, (1). Internet searching "most" of the teachers already have a fairly good competence. (2). Hypertext Navigation, only "half of it" are competent (3). Content evaluation, there are not half or only "almost half" who already have competence (4). In the knowledge assembly category, "in general" the teachers already have competence. The conclusion is that attention and efforts are still needed to improve the digital literacy competence of MA teachers in Bandar Lampung, especially in the hypertext navigation and content evaluation categories.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of articulate storyline learning media in learning outcomes of mathematics at grade V elementary school. The type of research was quantitative research. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 3 Rejosari in the second semester 2022/2023. The population of this study were all students of grade V consisted of VA and VB classes with a total of 44 students. The samples taken in this study were all V grade students with a total 44 students. Used sampling saturated sampling technique. The research method used in this research was Pre-Experimental Designs research, because there were no variables control. The form of the Pre-Experimental Design used by the researcher was the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, so in this design there was a pretest and a posttest. The data collection technique used in this study were test techniques and interview sheets. The test in this study was multiple-choice test consisting of 20 questions. Based on the results hypothesis testing paired sample t test shows that tcount < ttable, is 19,566 <2,021 with a Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an effect of articulate storyline learning media in learning outcomes of mathematics at grade V elementary school.
