Abstract

Planning a tourism trip is an important part for tourists so that their tour is satisfying. Service bureaus that have a function to help provide information and prepare tourist travel plans for tourists often provide random destination choices because they do not know the pattern of selecting tourist destinations. This will be detrimental to tourists when service bureaus make wrong tourism travel plans. Tourists also often find it difficult to determine which tourist destination to go to because they do not know the environmental conditions in tourist destinations. To overcome this problem, in this study, knowledge discovery and virtual tours are carried out to increase the promotion of tourism. Knowledge discovery is finding information or knowledge. Knowledge discovery uses data mining techniques to perform data analysis and find patterns. The data mining model that can be used is the frequent pattern by looking for Association Rule Mining from the data. Virtual tour is a technique that can provide 360 ??+ 180 degree images. The virtual tour will be able to show the overall environmental conditions at the tourist destination. The results that have been obtained are in the form of a quick recommendation of tourist attractions in accordance with the country of origin of tourists based on the Association rule mining values. The virtual tour has presented a 360 degree panoramic photo view to inform the environment situation in the place commented by the system.

Abstract

Financial management is a knowledge which is not only important to learn but also important to be applied in life of each individual. In recognizing financial conditions, motivation can be one of the factors which influence it. Gamification can be one way to increase the motivation and must be adapted to the characteristics of the users. Focusing on goals, engagement, and intrinsic motivation, Marczewski Gamification Framework maps several user types based on the game elements and mechanics. This study aims to design and build a mobile-based personal financial recording application with gamification methods and find out the level of behavioral intention to use and immersion implementing the Marczewski Gamification Framework. Testing has been carried out by students, employees, housewives, entrepreneurs, and managers to prove that gamification can motivate users to recognize the condition of personal finances well. Based on the evaluation result using the Hedonic Motivation System Adoption Model, 82.73% strongly agree that the application can increase reuse (behavioral intention to use) in the future and 66.56% agree that the application can increase the feeling of users to be carried away by the situation (immersion) in the application.

Abstract

Many companies have implemented technology in conducting their business, one of them is by using information systems in managing their business. The business process that runs on the Konveksi A&N is still manual because the Konveksi A&N has not implemented or is familiar with information systems like other companies has. This causes all the data collection process of goods, production, and transactions are all documented in different books, making it possible for errors in recording and calculating the data. In addition, the owner also needs to come directly to the location to find out new data or updated data where this takes more time. This research aims to establish a web-based system that can make business processes in Konveksi A&N more effective. This web-based system will be built using a system development methodology in the form of a prototyping method that uses the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language. System modeling was developed using UML 2.5, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The final result of this study is a website-shaped information system that can document all data contained in the Konveksi A&N such as the existence of a master data that contains all the data of convection, production data, and also transaction data to facilitate the owner in checking back all activities that are occurs in Konveksi A&N. There are also some reports about the transaction that can display information related to data contained in the system.

Abstract

Quality of Service in a network is a big thing that must be resolved and dealt with as best as possible. The limitation of the maximum transfer rate in network devices creates an obstacle in the process of transferring data packets. To maximize the transfer rate in network devices, you can use Virtual Link Aggregation which can offer bandwidth optimization and failover in the network. Link aggregation is a solution in combining several physical links into one logical link. The method used in this research is to consider the allocation of bandwidth, load balancing and failover in the link aggregation. From the results of the link aggregation test using two (2) interface bonding, the results of the bandwidth averages when there is a UPD data packet transfer to 0 bps / 184.9 Mbps, which was previously around 0 bps / 91.6 Mbps. While the result of the bandwidth averages when the TCP data packet transfer occurs is 0 bps / 105.5 Mbps, which was previously around 0 bps / 93.8 Mbps. Link Aggregation using a Mikrotik Router is a solution to produce a larger Throughput Bandwidth by combining two (2) Ethernet Physical Links into one logical link.

Abstract

The Agricultural Land Mapping System (SPLP) is indispensable in an agricultural country where part of the population is farmers. This system has been developed by the research team since 2019 and has resulted in web and mobile based systems. The Dutatani SPLP system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. Before this system is further implemented in the community, this system needs to be tested in terms of functionality and usability. This research article aims to compare the functionality and reusability testing of web and mobile-based SPLP. The test was carried out using ISO / IEC 9126-4 usability metrics that focus on effectiveness and efficiency, and involve farmers and farmer groups from Gilang Harjo Village, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The results of testing the web-based and mobile-based SPLP system show that overall respondents can do all the tasks given, but it takes a long time to complete. This is influenced by internal factors of the respondents, namely the respondent's lack of experience in using mobile phones for other activities besides telephone and short messages. So that when testing, respondents need more time to adapt to the system. However, based on time on task, mobile-based SPLP testing is faster than web-based ones.

Abstract

The Open Data Kit (ODK) originated as a google.org initiative where research efforts were focused on applying technology to assist developing countries in the health and environment sectors. ODK is an open-source tool that helps organizations, writers / researchers, field workers, and manage mobile data collection solutions. Its goal is to create open-source and standards-based tools that are easy to try, easy to use, easy to modify and easy to measure. This research was conducted to help teachers and Korwil Operators to collect and manage teacher attendance data at each elementary school in Ciater sub-district by utilizing the Open Data Kit as a medium for collecting and managing primary school teacher attendance data. This research was conducted by conducting literature studies, interviews and observations, and studying the use of the Open Data Kit. Furthermore, the stages will be carried out to define the needs of analysis, design and implementation. The final result of this research is a presence data collection application that utilizes the Open Data Kit as a medium consisting of ODK Collect as a data collection tool and ODK Aggregate as a tool for managing data.

Abstract

The development of information technology makes it easy to communicate the exchange of information so that the place, time and distance are no longer an obstacle. The development of information technology so rapidly could not be separated from the development of computer engineering. Advances in computer and information technology also provides a positive impact on education. Application areas of computer technology and information technology are the most influential in the field of education is the use of computer networks and the Internet. With the internet information services to target students are not limited space, where time and distance. Through the internet information services can be provided as a source of learning, learning media can be studied according to the speed of learners. Media study is not limited to letters and pictures but can be combined with graphics, animations, video, audio together so that the media is better known as multimedia. Positive influence of Internet use for education in developing human resources education should be able to follow the development of science and technology applications. Applications include the industrial world so that graduates are able to meet the demands of the workplace competencies. Based on these facts one way to be able to follow the rapid development of science and technology is to always access the information up to date and all it can in the can over the internet. However, its implementation is still required in support of infrastructure and human resource capabilities well as providers, managers and information users.
