Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze morphological level language errors in students' narrative essay texts. The method used is qualitative method. The data in this study were obtained through interviews, documentation of students' essays, and literature study. Documentation of narrative essays of 4th grade students of SD 1 Barongan which amounted to 6 essays. The data analysis technique consists of data collection, identifying language errors, explaining language errors, classifying, and evaluating language errors. The results showed that morphological errors that were mostly found in students' narrative essays were origin form errors.  This is because there are still some students who do not understand basic words. To overcome this, the solution offered by the homeroom teacher is to conduct learning with games. The learning method proved to be able to make it easier for students to remember vocabulary. This research is expected to be an input in the preparation of Indonesian language materials.

Abstract

This study is to describe research on the effect of the Numbered Head This research is motivated by the decline in reading interest in students which results in low student knowledge. This study aims to increase students' reading interest and students' grammar and attitudes change in a positive direction through a lot of reading. The theoretical basis used in this research is the theory of reading interest, the theory of technological literacy, the theory of audio-visual media and the theory of folklore. The method used is a qualitative approach using descriptive methods through interview techniques. The results of this study indicate that the use of folklore-based audio-visual media can increase intensive reading interest in fifth grade elementary school students. So that students are more interested in listening and reading through the use of audio-visual media downloaded from the YouTube application. The discussion suggests that there are difficulties at the beginning when inviting students to learn to watch audio-visual media based on folklore that has been given because of the assumption that the media is only given to early childhood, but over time students are able to follow and students' reading abilities can improve. The conclusion of this study is that literacy is important for every human being, including age and position, the use of audio-visual media downloaded through the YouTube application is proof that technological developments can have a positive impact on students when an educator is able to provide positive examples and habits as well.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the personal values and educational values contained in the children's story "The Buncir" by Asep Rahmat Hidayat. The story "Si Buncir" is a fairytale genre that has many moral messages for readers and as an alternative learning in conveying messages to elementary students. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data is the story script "The Buncir". Data collection techniques were carried out using literature study techniques, while data analysis techniques used content analysis with the results described in a narrative manner. Based on the results of the study it was found that, First, personal values include emotional development, intellectual development, imagination development, social sense growth, and ethical and religious sense growth. Second, educational values include religious values, honesty, discipline, independence, curiosity, democracy, responsibility. Thus, this children's story book provides messages and moral lessons about character that can be emulated by children, especially elementary school children, both in terms of developing personal values and character education values.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of GAPOK media with the TGT model to improve students' ability to compose sentence patterns. The research was conducted at SDN 3 Krasak with a total of 38 third grade students. The research method is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. There are two classes, experimental and conventional classes. The results showed that learning with GAPOK media with the TGT model was quite effective. The results of the experimental class N-gain test obtained a Gain score of 0.781 in the medium category and 78.07% in the effective category. The results of the experimental class N-gain test obtained a gain score of 0.335 in the high category and 33.51% in the effective category. The results of this study can contribute that this media can be used as an effective learning media, it can be recommended in improving students' ability to compose sentence patterns.

Abstract

Continuing education is essential in today's rapidly evolving world, allowing individuals to adapt to new challenges, broaden their horizons, and improve their skills. This research aims to explore the significant impact of the school environment and parental support on students' interest in continuing their education. Researchers used descriptive quantitative methods with cluster sampling techniques for 219 respondents. The results of this study explain a significant effect. A school environment that provides access to various learning opportunities can inspire enthusiasm for continuous learning and empower students to achieve educational goals. Additionally, parental support is critical in ensuring successful continuing education. Parents can instill a strong work ethic, resilience, and growth mindset for lifelong learning by encouraging their children to set goals, providing guidance, and offering emotional support.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of religious values in student discipline in increasing learning achievement. Religious values have a crucial role in the application of student discipline. Student discipline affects learning activities which can ultimately improve learning achievement. The emphasis in this study is religious values, discipline and student achievement.This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation studies at SD Negeri 2 Kalipucangkulon, Welahan District, Jepara Regency. The research subjects were school principals, class teachers, PJOK teachers, religion teachers, parents/guardians of students and student representatives.The results of the study provide religious values that are instilled in Kalipucangkulon 2 Public Elementary School, Welahan District, Jepara Regency including the values of discipline, responsibility, honesty, tolerance, sincerity, mutual respect and care for the environment. The inculcation of religious values is integrated into the school culture as well as all subjects that influence the learning achievement of SD Negeri 2 Kalipucangkulon students. This study also provides constraints that include internal and external factors on the inculcation of religious values that influence discipline to increase academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1] Develop learning media in the form of Javanese script board media on Javanese legena script material 2] Knowing student responses to the feasibility of learning media in the form of Javanese on Javanese legena script material in the form of Javanese script board media for grade 3 students SD. RD research adopting development from Borg Gall. The results of this study are: 1) Learning media has been developed in the form of PAKARJA BOARDS (Javanese script card boards) in the form of board and card media. 2) The feasibility of the PAPAN PAKARJA learning media that has been developed is very feasible with a percentage of 90% based on the final stage material expert assessment after improvement of the design expert with a percentage of 82.5% with feasible criteria. 3) With a percentage of 81.2% teacher assessment with proper criteria. 4) The results of student responses with a percentage of 90% with feasible criteria. 5) The average pretest score is 78 and the posttest score is 98, so the biggest percentage increase is 26%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PAPAN PAKARJA learning media is suitable for increasing reading interest in learning Javanese script in the Legenda Javanese script material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of comics media with a role-playing model in speaking skills. This study is a solution to the low speaking skills of students. By using comic media with a role-playing model during learning, it brings an increase in student learning outcomes, especially speaking skills. The method used is a action research. The research findings show that comic media with role-playing model in speaking skills is very effective in improving the speaking skills of fifth grade students at SDN 3 Pelang.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze learning management using a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics-Model Problem Based Learning (STEM-PBL) approach based on Lesson study in science lessons, with a qualitative case study approach. Data sources were students, class teachers, colleagues, lecturers and school principals through observation, interviews and focus group discussions. The research resulted show that managing STEM-PBL learning began with the Plan stage by analyzing learning planning. Then the Do stage, observing the learning process in the open class: trigger questions to find problems, discussions to collect data to solve problems, and presentations. See stage, the results of the reflection were that learning management was student-centered but needed to be improved, namely smaller groupings of students with different genders, clear instructions, individual worksheets and presentations for all groups. It was concluded that learning management with STEM-PBL was effective in increasing student-centered learning activities. These findings provided valuable knowledge for educators and policy makers to improve the quality of learning through the STEM-PBL approach and Lesson study activities.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the effect of parental involvement on mathematics learning outcomes conducted at SD Negeri 3 Jambu, Mlonggo District, Jepara Regency. Types of Methods This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques of data triangulation, namely data collection techniques that combine various data collection techniques and data sources that already exist. Qualitative research is a research approach that represents naturalistic (phenomenological) understanding. Questionnaires were obtained from the parents of grade VI students with a total of 34 respondents. The result of this study is to find out the extent of parental involvement in mathematics learning outcomes. Parental involvement in Mathematics Learning for Grade VI students of SD Negeri 3 Jambu in the 2021/2022 academic year obtained from filling out a questionnaire/questionnaire of twenty questions with the criteria of Never with one point, Rarely with two points, Frequent criteria with three points and criteria Always with four points. The results obtained are the criteria of Never having a percentage of zero, the criteria of Rarely having a result of six percent, the criteria of Often reaching forty-seven percent, and the criteria of Always reaching forty-four percent. While the results of the assessment obtained by students with the criteria of Less reached fifty percent, Enough criteria were twenty-nine percent, Good criteria reached twenty-one percent and Very Good criteria were zero percent.
