Abstract

This study aims to determine 1. Rope Jump training can increase leg power in volleyball athletes, 2. Hurdle Jump training can increase leg power in volleyball athletes, 3. The effectiveness of Hurdle Jump training compared to Rope Jump training to increase leg power in volleyball athletes. The research method used is the experimental method. The research sample was 32 Viking Bajatara volleyball club athletes. The sampling technique is total sampling. The data processing technique is based on a hypothesis that is tested by parametric statistics using the t-test to determine which experimental class has a higher average. The calculation results obtained a value of ????0 or ????ℎ???????????????????? of 2.77 and a value of ???????????????????????? of 1.69 with a significance level of 5%. the results of the study showed that training with the Hurdle Jump method was more effective than the Rope Jump training method. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that 1. The Rope Jump training method can improve the jumping results of Viking Bajatara volleyball athletes, 2. The Hurdle Jump training method can improve the jumping results of Viking Bajatara volleyball athletes, 3. The Hurdle Jump training method is more effective than the Rope Jump training method in improving the jumping results of Viking Bajatara volleyball athletes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the ladder drill training method on sickle kick speed. Research using a quantitative approach to the experimental method. The population in this study were all 20 Indonesian Satria Muda PPS athletes using total sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using field observations (observations), literature studies, and measurement tests by conducting pretest and posttest. The test is carried out by kicking the right and left legs with a sickle kick for 10 seconds. The amount of the contribution of the ladder drill exercise given to the speed of the men's sickle kick is 20% for the right leg and 16% for the left leg, while for women it is 19% for the right leg and 31% for the left leg, with t count = 6.398 t table = 2.100, while in the left sickle kick table data obtain t count 6.056 t table 2.100. Based on these data, it can be concluded that ladder drill training can increase the speed of the sickle kick of the PPS Satria Muda Indonesia Unit Serang City athlete

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between leg length, waist flexibility, and arm muscle strength and Gyaku Tsuki's punch speed in karate martial arts. A total of 30 karateka (age = 16.4 ± SD = 0.626) participated in the study. Leg length was measured using anthropometric methods, waist flexibility was measured by sit and reach tests, arm muscle strength was measured by push-up tests, and Gyaku Tsuki's punch speed was measured using Kinovea software. The results showed that leg length, waist flexibility, and arm muscle strength had a significant positive relationship with Gyaku Tsuki's punch speed (p = 0.000 0.005). This research can be the basis for further research in the field of kinematics and movement kinetics in the context of martial arts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of massage gun media on RPE (Rated Percived of Exertion) in soccer athletes. This research uses experimental method with one-group pretest posttest design model. The population of this study were Persib Academy athletes, totaling 30 athletes, ranging the age of 16 years. This population was chosen because training was carried out intensively and training was carried out regularly for 4 times/week. 18 athletes of Persib Bandung Academy made the research subject with purposive sampling technique. The procedure of this study is to provide high-intensity training activities using the Yo-Yo Intermittent test. Recovery Test to determine the RPE scale when after the exercise is finished then give some treatment using Massage Gun with a duration of 15 minutes then re-tested RPE. The research instrument used is RPE or Rated Percived Exertion, RPE is a subjective scale used to measure the level of fatigue or perceived effort on an individual's perception of the intensity of work performed, based on the results of data processing, it was found that the massage method using massage guns had an effect on RPE (Rated Percived of Exertion) significantly. Based on the results of the data processing of hypothesis testing that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of Massage Gun significantly affects the decrease in fatigue symbolized by RPE (Rating of Perceived Exertion).

Abstract

Trust is a psychological factor that can have a significant effect on athletic performance. This includes the athlete's personal belief in his abilities and skills, belief in the coach and team members, and belief in the strategy and game plan. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of confidence of NPC archery athletes in Bandung City. The research method used in this study is descriptive- quantitative. This method is used to obtain data from the answers to the questionnaire. The population in this study was NPC archery athletes in Bandung City, totaling 13 athletes. The results of this study showed that the confidence level of the Bandung City NPC archery athletes was 65.38%, which means that most of the Bandung City NPC archery athletes had a good level of self-confidence. Thus, confidence plays an important role in everyday life, training, and when competing. In addition to playing an important role, the results of this level of confidence can serve as a guide so that the level of an athlete's confidence can be applied or increased.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the relationship between hand eye coordination (X1) with medium shoot (Y), (2) the relationship between arm muscle strength (X2) and medium shoot (Y), (3) hand eye coordination relationship (X1), arm muscle strength (X2) together with medium shoot (Y). This research is a correlational quantitative research. The population of this study was basketball extracurricular students of MTSN 16 Jakarta. This research sample collection technique is purposive sampling a total of 10 people. The research instruments used were (1) hand eye coordination using the Wall bounce test instrument, (2) arm muscle strength using push-ups, (3) shooting test with medium shoot.. The hypothesis testing technique carried out in this study uses simple correlation statistical analysis techniques followed by t-tests at a significant level. The results of the first test showed a significant relationship between hand eye coordination (X1) with medium shoot (Y) with linear line equation Ŷ = 13.452 + 0.797 X1, correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.860 and determination coefficient (ry1²) = 0.739 which means that the variable of hand eye coordination contributes to medium shootby 73.9%. Secondly, there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength (X2) and medium shoot (Y) with the linear line equation Ŷ = 46.362 + 0.942X2 correlation coefficient ry₂ = 0.873 and determination coefficient (ry₂²) = 0.762 which means that the variable arm muscle strength contributes to medium shoot 76.2%.Third, there is a significant relationship between hand eye coordination (X1), arm muscle strength (X2), together with medium shoot (Y) with the linear line equation Ŷ = = 44.592 + -0.027X1 + 1.121X2.  correlation coefficient ry₁-₂ = 0.900 and determination coefficient (Ry₁.₂)² = 0.81 which means that the variables of hand eye coordination and arm muscle strength contribute to medium shoot by 81%.

Abstract

Karate is a branch of achievement sports that has a Kumite competition number. There are two athletes in the Kumite category in a karate match who face each other and must have agility when attacking and defending. The purpose of this study was to understand the effect of combination training of Shuttle Run and Zig-zag Run on the agility of male and female karate athletes at State University of Malang. This pre-experimental study used the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population used was karate athletes at Malang State University with a total of 24 samples divided into male athletes and female athletes. The agility of karate athletes was assessed using the Illinois agility test at the pretest and post-test. Based on the analysis of the Paired Samples T Test, it showed that the combined Shuttle Run and Zig-zag Run exercises had a significance = 0.00 (p 0.05) for male athletes, while a significance value = 0.00 (p 0.05) for female athletes. Based on the findings of this study, the combined training of Shuttle Run and Zig-zag Run is effective in increasing the agility of male and female karate athletes at the State University of Malang

Abstract

This research aims to compare the effect of fixed target and moving target passing exercises on the weakest foot on passing accuracy on the Jakarta State University football header using an experimental method with a Matched Subject Design namely an experiment that uses two sample groups that have been compared subject by subject before the treatment is carried out. The sample used in this research was 24 students at Jakarta State University using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques before and after carrying out passing activities are then processed and analyzed using SPSS. The results of the t test shows 1) there is a significant effect of fixed target passing practice on passing accuracy 2) there is a significant effect of moving target passing practice on passing accuracy and 3) there is no difference between fixed and moving target passing practice on passing accuracy.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a blocking training model based on small sided games in newer and simpler soccer games so that it is easy to understand and apply directly for goalkeepers of women's soccer clubs in Jakarta. The development of a goalkeeper blocking training model based on small sided games in this soccer game uses the Research and Development method which refers to the BORG GALL model. This research initially created a product design of 13 training models, then the final results using expert justification tests became 13 training models. Based on the validation test used is an expert justification test with three experts in the field of soccer. The purpose of this research is as reference material to improve skills, success and provide variations in goalkeeper blocking exercises during game situations. This training model also aims to be a reference for football coaches, especially women's football clubs in Jakarta, in implementing blocking exercises based on small sided games which can be carried out during training and matches. It is hoped that the results of this research in the future can become reference material for coaches and students who will develop this model and especially for female soccer goalkeepers in improving their blocking technique abilities in soccer games

Abstract

Physiological aspects have been found affected during and following eSports activity especially on computer-based eSports. There are still lack of studies that mentioned physiological changes on mobile-based eSports. This study aims to investigate how mobile-based eSports (Mobile Legend) affecting some physiological aspects during and post gaming competition in college student. 20 players from 4 teams participated in a competition and then became the sample of this study. Heart rate and energy expenditure, were recorded as physiological aspects. Based on previous studies, we hypothesized that mobile-based eSports also affecting physiological aspects.
