Abstract

The tradition of reading and holding the Qur'an during menstruation has sparked debate among students and pesantren administrators. In hadith studies, there is a prohibition against reading and touching the mushaf for menstruating women, as mentioned in several narrations. However, in practice, many pesantren accommodate students to interact with the Qur'an through various means, such as using digital mushaf, reciting with the intention of dhikr, or relying on tafsir. This phenomenon is part of Living Hadith, where the understanding of hadith is not only textual but also contextual, adapting to the social and cultural dynamics of pesantren. This study aims to examine the extent to which pesantren provide freedom or enforce strict regulations on this matter, as well as the perspectives of administrators and ustadzah regarding female students’ practices in reading and holding the mushaf during menstruation. This research investigates the practice of reading and holding the mushaf during menstruation within the context of Living Hadith at Pesantren Sains Tebuireng. It explores how female students understand and apply the Prophet’s traditions on this issue, as well as the interaction between textual doctrines and lived religious experiences. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with an ethnographic Living Hadith methodology, data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with students and ustadzah, and literature analysis from Islamic legal sources. Findings reveal that despite textual prohibitions, practical considerations such as educational needs, memorization maintenance, and pesantren traditions shape the acceptance and practice of female students in interacting with the Qur'an during menstruation. Various fiqh interpretations also influence pesantren policies, allowing alternatives such as using digital mushaf, translated mushaf, or reciting Qur'anic verses with the intention of dhikr or memorization retention. This study contributes to Living Hadith discourse by demonstrating how Islamic traditions are dynamically negotiated within pesantren environments, balancing textual authority with contextual adaptation

Abstract

Oral and dental health is an important aspect of individual well-being that is often neglected by students and faculty in academic environments. This study aims to analyze the oral and dental health conditions at Kadiri University and evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention involving free scaling and dental health counseling. The research methodology used is a quantitative and qualitative approach, with data collection through clinical examinations, satisfaction surveys, and participant interviews. The results of the study show that before the intervention, the prevalence of dental caries was relatively high (approximately 76.7%). After the intervention, there was a 70% increase in knowledge and adherence to maintaining oral hygiene. Additionally, the majority of respondents (93.33%) expressed satisfaction with the program provided. Therefore, this intervention has proven effective in improving oral and dental health and raising awareness of the importance of regular care.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the cooling process in Expanded Foam Injection Molding (EFIM) in order to improve the dimensional consistency of EVA foam products. EVA foam, which is widely used in the footwear industry, especially sneakers, is produced through a foaming process in which blowing agents and curing agents are mixed into the EVA polymer. Variations in the cooling process cause significant differences in product size (dimensions), thereby increasing the reject ratio and affecting the final product quality. Using the Taguchi design experiment approach, this study identifies key parameters in the cooling process, such as temperature, time, and cooling rate, and analyzes their effects on product dimensions. The results show that the application of optimal cooling conditions can reduce the reject ratio and produce products with more consistent dimensions. This study contributes to the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

Complaints are complaints submitted by users or customers to service providers or services that do not comply with service standards, or neglect of obligations and violations of prohibitions. In the process of processing service data regarding customer complaints, it is known that complaints are made by customers by sending complaint information via social media or via telephone contact. After the complaint information has been provided, the service department will inform the admin staff via WhatsApp media by sending complaint data and customer complaints. Then the company will contact the customer via telephone to confirm the complaint sent, If the complaint has been processed to completion then proof of completion in the form of a photo is sent back to the admin staff to be re-data. The method used in this research is Waterfall. This method is a systematic and sequential information system development model. The result of this research is to design and build a Complaint Service System PT. Mandiri Transforma Global Web-based to facilitate the processing of service data regarding complaints by customers, speed up information related to complaint services, speed up the process of making complaint service reports by company customers, both those that have been processed and those that have not been processed and can be accessed online.

Abstract

The capital market is one of the important indicators in a country's economy, which reflects the dynamics of the relationship between investors, companies, and market conditions. In the Efficient Market Hypothesis (EMH) theory, stock prices are said to reflect all available information efficiently. Thus, there is no opportunity for investors to consistently generate abnormal returns, namely profits that exceed market expectations based on the risks taken. However, in practice, various market anomalies and financial behavior often show deviations from the basic assumptions of the EMH. This study aims to analyze the effect of various market anomalies such as the January Effect, Ramadhan Effect, Election Days Effect, Pandemic Covid Effect, and financial behavior on abnormal returns in the Efficient Market Hypothesis using the system literature review research method. The results of the study show that the January Effect, Ramadhan Effect, Election Days Effect, Pandemic Covid Effect have a negative effect on abnormal returns in the Efficient Market Hypothesis. Financial behavior such as herding behavior shows that there is no herding behavior in the Indonesian capital market. These results indicate that investors are rational in making investment decisions because they have good access to relevant information about stock price movements in the market.

Abstract

This study tries to analyze the relationship between Size, ROA and DER on Tax Avoidance with the mediating variable of the Audit Committee. The nature of quantitative research uses Eviews 12 analysis tools to build relationships between variables. The sample uses purposive sampling technique, with the sample criteria being companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the population is taken according to what has been previously determined. To conduct the analysis, 27 sample companies were obtained and analyzed using the best method so that the maximum test results were obtained. The results of the research show that Size, DER, and ROA have no effect on Tax Avoidance nor do they mediate the Audit Committee variable. The weakness of this relationship proves that there are many factors that affect the process of tax avoidance practices. Furthermore, tax avoidance practices by companies may not be influenced by the company's internal environment, so the biggest factor may be from outside the company. The practice of tax avoidance by companies in Indonesia which has been indicated to come from internal companies is not entirely true. factors such as Size, ROA, DER have no effect on tax avoidance. The Audit Committee as a Moderating Variable also failed to moderate Size, ROA, DER on Tax Avoidance Practices. This is possible from outside the company as a factor influencing corporate tax avoidance in Indonesia.
