KINAA merupakan istilah dari bahasa Toraja yang menunjukan suatu sifat kebijaksanaan. Kinaa merupakan salah satu sifat yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang pemimpin sehingga dapat menunjukan kepemimpinan yang baik, benar, dan berpengaruh. Jurnal Kinaa adalah Jurnal Jurusan Kepemimpinan Kristen IAKN Toraja. Jurnal ini akan membahas mengenai beragai artikel ilmilah mengenai kepemimpinan Kristen dan laporan ilmiah suatu kegiatan pemberdayaan, berdasarkan hal tersebut fokus jurnal ini membahas mengenai Kepemimpinan Kristen dan Pemberdayaan Jemaat Jurnal ini memiliki fokus dan scope pada bidang artikel ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan Kepemimpinan Kristen dan juga laporan kegiatan pengabdian kepada warga Jemaat. Abstract

Abstrak Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang to bara’ kepemimpinan bukti, bukan janji, perspektif sosiologi politik masyarakat Seko Embonatana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan mekanisme memilih, menetapkan dan memberhentikan pemimpin berdasarkan sistem demokrasi masyarakat dan alam semesta melalui proses nipeandei. Cara memilih pemimpin yang demikian berdampak terhadap kualitas kepemimpinan yang pro masyarakat. Tulisan ini menggunakan teori sosiologi politik yang memperlihatkan auratnya interaksi antar masyarakat dan sistem politik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan memotret peristiwa dan kejadian yang menjadi fokus perhatian peneliti, mendeskripsikan masalah, digambarkan apa adanya dan menganalisis fakta-fakta dalam bentuk penilaian melalui fenomena yang bersifat luas. Pada akhirnya artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa to bara’ sebagai kepemimpinan bukti, mengandung nilai yang relevan diinternalisasikan dengan kepemimpinan pemerintahan saat ini untuk mempengaruhi sistem politik melalui keputusan kebijakan yang memiliki kekuatan legitimasi berupa Undang-Undang Pemerintah Daerah dan Desa yang parsial pada masyarakat. Kata Kunci: To bara’, kepemimpinan, masyarakat Seko Embonatana dan sosiologi politik Abstract This paper examines To Bara’ leadership evidence, not promises, from the perspective of political sociology Seko Embonatana. The research aims to showcase the mechanism of selecting, establishing, and removing leaders based on a community democracy system and the concept of Nipeandei. The choices made have a significant impact on the quality of public leadership. This paper employs political sociology theory, which illustrates the close interaction between people and politics. The research method used is qualitative, involving the documentation of events that capture the researchers' attention, problem description, and analysis of facts related to a broad range of phenomena. In conclusion, this article asserts that Bara leadership evidence carries relevant value, aligning with the current government leadership, influencing policy decisions that partially govern local government and village areas within the community. Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia as a pluralist country holds the principle of equal citizenship, which considers that every individual and community group has the same rights and obligations and adheres to a democratic system of government. One of the main platforms to determine the leader who will represent the will of the people is the village head election. However, after the village head election, conflicts or disputes often occur in various regions including Mamasa, West Sulawesi. This conflict can threaten community unity and integrity. Therefore, the author links the phenomenon of post-village head election conflicts with citizenship politics and Amos Yong's Hospitality theory. The author presents the concept of hospitality as a new approach to overcome post-village head election conflicts and encourage inclusion in society. The method used is a qualitative approach by observing the phenomenon or case study under study, and using literature review to support the analysis. The purpose of this paper is to enrich the understanding of civic politics, apply Hospitality theory, and encourage new thinking in overcoming post-village head election conflicts.   Keywords: Citizenship Politics, Conflict, Difference, Hospitality, Village Head Election.

Abstract

Abstract: Youth have self-leadership in their leadership spirit. They have efficacy regarding their belief in themselves as leaders to work. If leadership indicates a role model, then Timothy and Titus were two role models who represent the position and role of youth from the perspective of the Christian faith. In this regard, the aim of this research was to analyze the relationship between self-leadership and self-efficacy in youth by learning from Timothy and Titus from a Christian leadership perspective. This research used a literature review approach as part of a qualitative method. Researchers found that self-leadership and self-efficacy in young people were related to reflecting the qualities of leaders and their leadership, as in Timothy and Titus. Charismatic leaders are those who exercise their leadership by focusing on God. Leadership means the ability to be selfless but to have an interest in implementing goodness. In principle, the effort to lead essentially contains Christian values, which include an emphasis on God's grace for humans. Keywords: Christian leadership, self-efficacy, self-leadership, youth

Abstract

Abstract: The implementation of secular leadership values ​​in church ministry can give rise to various problems that impact its integrity and effectiveness. The tendency to pursue quantitative growth and financial success as primary indicators of success can shift the focus away from essential Christian values. In addition, leadership that is not rooted in Christian principles can cause conflict and division within the church body. This research aims to explore the dynamics of Christian leadership that radiate from the story of Mordecai and Esther. This research uses the library research method by analyzing sources relevant to the topics of mentoring, Christian leadership, and the story of Mordecai and Esther. Data were analyzed qualitatively with a focus on Mordecai's role as a mentor, Esther's leadership, and the implications for contemporary Christian leadership. This research produces a 5P mentoring model, based on Mordecai's mentor role to Esther through five main aspects: adoption, care, protection, enlightenment, and strengthening. This is proven to form Esther's leadership character who is brave, wise, faithful and obedient. It is hoped that the findings of this research will help build a Christian leadership model that is effective and relevant to various organizational and community contexts today.   Keywords: Esther, Leadership, Mentor, Mordecai

Abstract

Abstract: This research comprehensively integrates traditional, transformational, and Christian leadership principles. In a constantly evolving world, adaptive and inclusive leadership models are becoming increasingly important to achieve sustainable organizational success. Traditional leadership often emphasizes hierarchical structures and centralized decision-making, while transformational leadership focuses on inspiration, motivation, and innovation. On the other hand, Christian leadership integrates the values of ethics, service, and love as the foundation for carrying out leadership roles. This study combines various literature and empirical research to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each of these leadership approaches. By utilizing this multidimensional approach, this study aims to provide insights into how blending these three types of leadership can create a more holistic and practical leadership model. The results of the analysis show that this integration can meet the organization's operational needs and improve morale and work ethic among team members. The conclusion of this study shows that organizations can benefit significantly by synergistically applying elements from traditional, transformational, and Christian leadership. Practical recommendations are given for leaders who wish to apply this combination in their context to build a more inclusive and value-oriented organizational culture.   Keywords: analysis, christian leadership, traditional, transformational.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini menganalisis secara komprehensif menggabungkan antara prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan tradisional, kepemimpinan transformasional, dan kepemimpinan Kristen. Dalam dunia yang terus berkembang, model kepemimpinan yang adaptif dan inklusif menjadi semakin penting untuk mencapai kesuksesan organisasi yang berkelanjutan. Kepemimpinan tradisional sering kali menekankan pada struktur hierarkis dan pengambilan keputusan yang terpusat, sementara kepemimpinan transformasional memfokuskan pada inspirasi, motivasi, dan inovasi. Di sisi lain, kepemimpinan Kristen mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai etika, pelayanan, dan kasih sebagai landasan dalam menjalankan peran kepemimpinan. Studi ini menggabungkan berbagai literatur dan penelitian empiris untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan dari masing-masing pendekatan kepemimpinan tersebut. Dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan multidimensional ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana kombinasi dari ketiga jenis kepemimpinan ini dapat menciptakan model kepemimpinan yang lebih holistik dan efektif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ini tidak hanya mampu memenuhi kebutuhan operasional organisasi tetapi juga dapat meningkatkan moral dan etos kerja di antara anggota tim. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa organisasi dapat memperoleh manfaat besar dengan menerapkan elemen-elemen dari kepemimpinan tradisional, transformasional, dan Kristen secara sinergis. Rekomendasi praktis diberikan untuk para pemimpin yang ingin menerapkan kombinasi ini dalam konteks mereka sendiri, dengan tujuan untuk membangun budaya organisasi yang lebih inklusif dan berorientasi pada nilai.   Kata Kunci: analisis, kepemimpinan kristen,  transformasional, tradisional.

Abstract

Abstract: This study analyses Christian leadership development strategies based on Christian values, including: (1) character building, (2) knowledge enhancement, (3) skill development, (4) monitoring and evaluation, and (5) strengthening sustainable regeneration. Development focuses on three pillars: character, knowledge, and skills, which also serve as an evaluation framework. The research uses qualitative methods with data from literature review. Jesus and Moses exemplify ideal Christian leaders, demonstrating the importance of soft and hard skills. Development should be regularly measured and evaluated. Self-development and succession planning should be conducted through structured self-evaluation and consistent feedback from others. In conclusion, Christian leadership development can begin with three pillars: character, knowledge, and skills. This strategy aims to develop leaders holistically. For further research, field studies focusing on church leaders in Indonesia are recommended.   Keywords: Christian Leaders, Human Resource Development, Management, Strategy.   Abstrak: Studi ini menganalisis strategi pengembangan pemimpin Kristen berbasis nilai-nilai Kristen, meliputi: (1) membangun karakter, (2) meningkatkan pengetahuan, (3) mengasah kompetensi dan keterampilan, (4) monitoring dan evaluasi, serta (5) memperkuat kaderisasi berkelanjutan. Pengembangan berfokus pada tiga pilar: karakter, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan, yang juga digunakan sebagai kerangka evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan data yang diperoleh melalui tinjauan pustaka. Yesus dan Musa ditampilkan sebagai contoh pemimpin Kristen yang menunjukkan pentingnya soft skills dan hard skills. Pengembangan harus diukur serta dievaluasi secara berkala. Kaderisasi dan pengembangan diri dilakukan melalui evaluasi diri dan umpan balik yang terstruktur dan konsisten. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan pemimpin Kristen dapat dimulai dengan tiga pilar utama: karakter, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Strategi ini bertujuan mengembangkan pemimpin secara holistik. Untuk penelitian lebih lanjut, disarankan menggunakan penelitian lapangan dengan objek para pemimpin gereja di Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Pemimpin Kristen, Pengembangan SDM, Strategi

Abstract

Abstract: The integration of Christian values with technological advances in Christian leadership practice is a relevant challenge in today's digital era. This research aims to explore this combination and identify practical strategies and implications in the context of Christian leadership theory and practice. The research method used is literature analysis and qualitative data collection through literature study. The research results show that, although there is conflict between Christian values and technological advances, there are also opportunities to utilize technology as a tool for strengthening community and spiritual growth. The implications of this research are the need for further research on practical strategies for overcoming these conflicts, longitudinal studies to understand the development of Christian leadership practices in adopting new technology, as well as research on how transformative Christian leadership can influence spiritual and community growth in the long term. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to the development of Christian leadership theory and practice in the digital era.     Keywords: Christianity, digital era, leadership, technology,  transformative.     Abstrak: Integrasi nilai-nilai Kristen dengan kemajuan teknologi dalam praktik kepemimpinan Kristen merupakan tantangan yang relevan di era digital saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perpaduan tersebut dan mengidentifikasi strategi praktis serta implikasi dalam konteks teori dan praktik kepemimpinan Kristen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis literatur dan pengumpulan data kualitatif melalui studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, meskipun terdapat konflik antara nilai-nilai Kristen dan kemajuan teknologi, terdapat juga peluang untuk memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai alat untuk memperkuat komunitas dan pertumbuhan rohani. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya penelitian lebih lanjut tentang strategi praktis untuk mengatasi konflik tersebut, studi longitudinal untuk memahami perkembangan praktik kepemimpinan Kristen dalam mengadopsi teknologi baru, serta penelitian tentang bagaimana kepemimpinan Kristen yang transformatif dapat memengaruhi pertumbuhan rohani dan komunitas dalam jangka panjang. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan bagi pengembangan teori dan praktik kepemimpinan Kristen di era digital.   Kata Kunci: era digital, kepemimpinan, kristen, teknologi, transformatif.

Abstract

This research examines the model of the theology of bureaucracy of Jesus and the apostles in the New Testament as an alternative paradigm for ethical leadership in Indonesia. This paradigm emphasizes the principles of service, humility, and sacrifice, which differ from traditional bureaucracy that places more emphasis on hierarchy, authority, and power. Using qualitative methodology with biblical text analysis and a hermeneutic approach, this research also explores the contextualization of Roman bureaucracy and contemporary Indonesian bureaucracy. The research findings indicate that the application of Jesus' leadership principles can enhance integrity and service orientation in public policy. This paper contributes to the development of bureaucratic theology literature and provides practical guidance for Christian leaders, academics, and theology students in understanding the relationship between religious ethics and more inclusive and responsible public administration. These findings open up opportunities for further research in formulating public leadership models relevant to the bureaucratic challenges in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to find a concept for revitalizing tallu batu lalikan collaborative leadership to create harmony between tallu and lolona. Tallu batu lalikan are three influential institutions in society, consisting of government institutions, religious institutions, and customary institutions. The urgency of this study stems from the ongoing environmental crisis in Toraja, which has caused environmental damage and various losses to the community because of the erosion of local wisdom values. Therefore, this study aims to identify collaborative measures that can be taken by the tallu batu lalikan as public servants to overcome the environmental crisis currently occurring in Toraja. These collaborative measures are based on the theory of collaborative leadership, which emphasizes collaboration between leaders in overcoming problems that are being faced together. This study uses a qualitative research method through field research and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the form of collaboration between the government, traditional leaders, and religious leaders in overcoming the environmental crisis in Toraja is only at the conceptual stage. The collaboration of tallu batu lalikan is limited to aligning perceptions through discussions. Only the church is quite active in building collaboration with the government and traditional leaders. The other two institutions have not been active in building collaboration, so it is hoped that they can actively and effectively build collaboration among tallu batu lalikan so that the environmental crisis in Toraja can be resolved.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana kepemimpinan seseorang yang memiliki pengaruh dan dampak bagi sekitarnya. Kepemimpinan seseorang dapat di lihat dalam peran dan tanggung jawab yang dapat menjalankan mandat dan tugas sebagai pemimpin. Dalam beberapa kasus bahwa ada banyak pemimpin yang tidak bertanggung jawab terhadap tugas dan siap mengambil setiap resiko, terutama pada generasi Z yang sekarang. Hal ini menandakan bahwa tidak selaras dengan tindakan dan perkataan. Penulis mengambil contoh konsep kemimpinan Rasul Paulus yang dinamis bahkan ketika ia dibelenggu di penjarakan ia dapat memimpin dan punya pengaruh bagi orang-orang disekelilingnya melalui kata-katanya yang berwibawa. Konsep kepemimpinan Paulus ini menjadi sangat relevan bagi generasi Z saat ini. Dengan memahami dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan Paulus, generasi Z dapat menjadi pemimpin yang berkarakter, inspiratif, dan membawa perubahan positif bagi dunia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman dimana paulus memiliki pengaruh prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan Paulus dapat diterapkan dalam konteks kepemimpinan modern, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh generasi Z. Metode penelitian ini adalah  kajian studi literatur  yang berhubungan dengan teks lain yang berkaitan dalam Alkitab,  jurnal-jurnal dan dari sumber lainnya yang terkait dengan topik artikel ini. Dengan demikian, mencerminkan kasih Kristus dapat dilihat dengan melalui setiap karakter yang berintegritas dalam memimpin orang lain.
