Abstract

This activity aims to 1) utilize rainwater catchment areas in Pesantren Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency as freshwater fish ponds; 2) create a freshwater fish breeding pond, 3) build a fishing house, and 4) provide marketing management training for freshwater fish. The specific target to be achieved is the Nur Fadhilah pesantren to be independent and have a regular income from the freshwater fish business by utilizing rainwater catchment areas as freshwater fish ponds. The method implemented in this activity is education and training through counseling, accompanied by practices and demonstrations which include the introduction of intensive aquaculture, introduction of local feed ingredients and preparation, as well as the production and production of freshwater fish species that allow them to be maintained in this area. Counseling is an educational system outside of school, where adults and youth learn while working. The results of the activity show that 2 ar plots of freshwater fish ponds were made to maintain 10,000 fish. Maintenance of fish for 3 months produces an average of 4-5 fish per kilo. From the evaluation of the activities it was concluded that the respondents' understanding of freshwater aquaculture was very good up to 86.67%. However, understanding of making brochures, promotional materials as well as the ability of product marketing and preparation of business plans is not optimal. The entrepreneurial spirit of the respondents was very good, even though only 73.33% of the respondents achieved it. Overall, respondents gave positive opinions on the benefits of activities which reached 93.33% with Very Good responses.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to arouse enthusiasm and shape the character of young entrepreneurs whoare independent, professional and characterized Aswaja, and so that prospective entrepreneurs can have access to theskills and knowledge to start and improve their business which will also have an impact on job creation. Themethods used are training, apprenticeship and guidance, mentoring, revolving fund assistance, business consultationand tenant supervision. The implementation of KDP activities includes: training consisting of 5 stages,entrepreneurship visits, entrepreneurship practices, provision of technology assistance, business consultation andimplementation of program sustainability. The results obtained are the development of tenant businesses, namelymushroom cultivation, tempe chips, taro chips, vegetable donuts and services. Besides that, the draft ofentrepreneurship textbooks, the results of published activities on online media. As well as establishing cooperationwith UKM Celebes Mushroom, Frame Insight Indonesia. In the second year, there are 5 independent entrepreneurs(tenants) based on science and professionalism for UIM students and graduates, and able to create jobs.

Abstract

One agricultural commodity that has high economic value is the clove "Eugenia Aromatica". The many benefits obtained from cloves, making clove commodities sell well in the market due to of high demand. Therefore, the amount of clove production must be able to balance the market demand in order to keep price stability stable. However, post-harvest handling of cloves at the farm level is generally conventional. This has caused problems including long working time (ineffective), the risk of clove quality decreases, and causes discomfort to the skin of workers' hands due to friction of the clove flower for long time. Hence, it is necessary to conduct IbM – “Ipteks bagi Masyarakat” (Science and Technology for Communities) activities in utilizing clove flower separator machines for farmers in Bonto Village, Enrekang. The stages of the implementation of the IbM activities were observation to the farmer groups in Bonto Village, procurement of clove flower separators, conducting training to operate the clove separator mechine and counseling how to do mechine maintenance to farmers in Bonto Village. The results obtained from this community service activity are that clove farmers in Bonto village are able to work more effectively and efficiently in the process of separating clove flowers from their stems so that the production of cloves increases with good quality.

Abstract

This Community Partnership Program (PKM) in SLBN 1 Makassar City. The formulation problem is: disability students who are autistic as students who experience disabilities both in terms of mental aspects and in terms of communication disorders. But, have a number of potential that should be proud of his parents, siblings, environment, and at school community, nation and state. Potential superior in question is superior talent in vocal arts, music, classy call to pray, and other potentials. This fact was demonstrated by one of the students of the PLB FIP UNM Department, demonstrating an extraordinary talent in playing electronic keyboards while singing (musical talent), even though they were very blind. In the commemoration of international disability day in the auditorium of Amanagappa, there were autistic children with talent in vocal arts. The external target was training in singing national anthems. The method used was lecture and training. The results achieved were the four autistic children who were trained in electronic-based vocals were able to sing two national anthems, namely independence day and cheers.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity was to improve the quality of the powdered Toraja coffee and the income ofthe people in the Dewata Village. Through this activity, the community in Dewata Village was empowered toincrease their knowledge through training in producing quality powdered Toraja coffee. The training programincluded how to produce powdered Toraja coffee production that has a good quality, ranging from coffee beanroasting process, sieving powdered Toraja coffee and coffee packaging. In addition, lectures were held to increasepublic knowledge about group management and marketing of powdered Toraja coffee that has been produced. Theresults of the activities carried out in the Dewata Village were products of flavored powdered Toraja coffee andtypical toraja aroma with a more attractive packaging.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) partners are laying eggs duck farmers in Cambajawa, Baruga Village, Bantimurung, Maros. The problems are: (1) lack of knowledge in application of animal feed processing technology; (2) lack of skills in application of animal feed processing technology; and (3) animal feed production still relies on the weather. The external target is a grinding machine (Disk Mill) for the manufacture of animal feed and a drying system (Dry Home). The methods used are: speechs, demonstrations, discussions, questions and answers, and assistance. The results achieved were (1) partners have knowledge in application of animal feed processing technology, (2) partners have skills in application animal feed processing technology; and (3) partners can produce animal feed without relying on the weather.

Abstract

Partners of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) are the Mathematics MGMP of Takalar Regency. The problems are 1) The teacher has not maximized active learning activities in the classroom 2) The teacher has not maximally utilized media and strategies in learning activities. For implementation, participants are involved in training activities whose implementation includes material presentation and practical activities. In presenting the material, participants are given materials on the concept of context-based learning media and realistic mathematics learning strategies. However, with the consideration of the Covid-19 pandemic so that the implementation of this training is carried out in virtual or other terms in the network (online). In the practical activity section, participants carry out practical activities for the preparation and development of learning contexts and learning scenarios with Realistic Mathematics learning strategies. To support the implementation of the activity, participants were given the opportunity to express their opinions with this activity, context-based manipulative learning media, and the Realistic Mathematical Approach (PMR). The result is 16.7% who know somewhat, meaning that they have read but have not implemented it in the learning class. The same thing happened for 33.3% where the participants knew enough, in other words, they understood PMR well but were not able to keep pace with its development. The remaining 50% have carried out this learning in their respective classes.

Abstract

Ulu Ere subdistrict in Bantaeng regency is one of potential areas for the development of potato crop.However, the Farmers Groups in this area are still using traditional techniques to cultivate the potatoes withoutadequate cultivation technology innovations which technically makes the management of potato cultivation systemsneeds to be improved with the Partner Village Development Program (PPDM). The methods in this PPDM programare: counseling, demonstration, and action research with several stages: a) program socialization and groupdiscussion and b) Farmer Group Empowerment which includes a technique of cutting cuttings in husk charcoal inscreen house, technique of seedling for G1 seeds (Basic-1) in an open field, technique of demonstration area for G2seeds (Basic-2), and guidance on processing food made of potatoes. The results obtained from the PPDM programare: a) observations on cuttings propagation in screen house show ±90% of cuttings survived, ±10% withered, andfree from pests and diseases, b) observations on techniques of seedlings for G1 seeds show that 10% of the cropswas attacked by pests and diseases, and the productivity shows an improvement to ±15 tons/ha (previously only ±8tons/ha), and c) observations on demonstration area for G2 seeds show only ±85% of the seeds grow normally, and15% of the plant were attacked by pests and diseases with the productivity increased to ±18 tons/ ha (previouslyonly ±10 tons/ha), and guidance for processing food made of potato shows the participation and the knowledge ofthe Farmers Group had increased. PPDM as a program will provide significant benefits to improve the prosperous ofFarmers Group and community.

Abstract

The breeders of local superior durian seeds and other superior fruit plant nurseries have been researchedand produced by the Unanda Faculty of Agriculture at the Experimental Gardens and Agro technology Nurseries.The uniqueness of the nursery business is it has low competitors who make superior products based on local durianseed breeders. The annual outputs to be achieved by the PPUPIK Business Unit of Palopo Local Superior SuperiorDurian Seed Breeders were (1) the implementation of the neatly arranged PPUPIK Business Unit Business, (2) theavailability of a good governance system, namely database of superior research and technology, database of clientneeds, and client satisfaction index, (3) availability of PPUPIK unit activity guidelines and the creation of a workingmechanism for PPUPIK units, (4) guaranteed sources of broodstock that is produced by Unanda Palopo, and (5)generated a new entrepreneurship program from the students.

Abstract

The Homesick issue was raised as the focus of these community service activities because the results of the survey showed that the problem of homesickness were still considered by 8th and 9th grade students. The assumptions of this uncomfortable feeling have long been corrected by the students and it needs special improvement. The number of participants in this study are 186 students. The method used are open questionnaire to describe the homesickness of the students, pretest, psychoeducation, focuss group discussion, poster competition, and post-test. The result indicates that it seems the students of the Islamic Boarding School Ummul Mukminin and Meanwhile, they feel comfortable being at boarding school. The pre-test shows that there is a decrease in the level of homesickness for students after participating in psychoeducation activities by comparing the number of pretest and posttest per class. The number of students in high level has become moderate even low, and moderate level has become low.
