Abstract

Pelatihan pemanfaatan software GeoGebra bagi guru matematika SMP di Kabupaten Maros dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif. Kendala utama yang dihadapi guru adalah keterbatasan kompetensi digital dan minimnya pelatihan berkelanjutan dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada 23 Juli 2025 di SMP Negeri 1 Maros dengan melibatkan guru-guru matematika yang tergabung dalam MGMP. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi empat tahapan: persiapan, sosialisasi, pendampingan dan pengawasan, serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam merancang visualisasi dinamis dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) interaktif berbasis GeoGebra untuk berbagai topik matematika seperti transformasi geometri, persamaan aljabar, dan representasi fungsi. Partisipasi aktif dan respon positif peserta mengindikasikan keberhasilan program dalam membangun kepercayaan diri guru mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Komitmen keberlanjutan program diperkuat melalui penandatanganan MoA dan IA antara Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FMIPA Universitas Negeri Makassar dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Maros melalui Dinas Pendidikan dan MGMP Matematika SMP.Kata Kunci: Pelatihan Guru, Media Pembelajaran, Geogebra

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru serta siswa dalam menerapkan teknologi penginderaan visual pada pembelajaran robotika. Melalui tahapan kegiatan yang meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi, peserta diperkenalkan pada konsep dasar computer vision dan pemrosesan citra menggunakan perangkat lunak Python dan pustaka seperti OpenCV serta MediaPipe. Praktikum mencakup penerapan deteksi dan pelacakan wajah dengan Haar Cascade serta pengenalan gesture tangan yang diintegrasikan dengan Arduino untuk mengontrol LED secara real time. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan, keterampilan teknis, serta motivasi belajar siswa, yang ditunjukkan melalui hasil pre-test dan post-test serta keberhasilan dalam membuat proyek sederhana berbasis penginderaan visual. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran robotika dan mendorong terbentuknya lingkungan belajar yang kreatif, inovatif, dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi di era industri 4.0.Kata kunci: Penginderaan Visual, Robot, Open-CV, Mediapipe.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 3 Gowa sebagai lembaga pendidikan bertujuan mencetak lulusan yang siap pakai dan terampil sehingga perlu membekali peserta didik dengan keterampilan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia industri. Selama ini masih kurang diberikan kompetensi yang dapat mendukung agar proses kreatifnya dapat lebih meningkat dan berkembang untuk menghasilkan produk atau karya sesuai bidang kejuruanya. Alternatif yang harus dilakukan pada peserta didik SMK Negeri 3 Gowa dengan memberikan kompetensi keterampilan tambahan melalui kegiatan pelatihan cetak sablon. Pengetahuan cetak sablon sebagai keterampilan yang dapat menjadi peluang untuk bekerja pada industri percetakan. Manfaat diadakannya pelatihan ini yaitu; 1) Memperkaya keterampilan teknis yang penting dalam bidang desain terutama untuk produksi cetak sablon, 2) Meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik dalam membuat karya desain yang menarik sesuai dengan produksi cetak sablon, 3). Meningkatkan semangat wirausaha peserta didik untuk membuka usaha mandiri di bidang percetakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan cetak sablon ini yaitu; 1) Ceramah mengenai tata cara penggunaan alat dan bahan cetak saring, 2) Demonstrasi untuk memperlihatkan cara kerja cetak sablon kepada peserta, (3) Tanya jawab untuk mendapatkan umpan balik dari peserta.Kata kunci: Pelatihan, cetak, sablon

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Takalar dalam menciptakan dan mengajarkan tari kreasi berbasis kearifan lokal melalui metode interaktif digital. Pelaksanaan kegiatan melibatkan Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) Gugus VI Mangarabombang, yang menghadapi keterbatasan fasilitas pembelajaran seni, kurangnya pelatihan formal tari, serta minimnya pemanfaatan media digital dalam pembelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknik dasar tari, penyusunan koreografi, pendampingan praktik mengajar, serta pemanfaatan media digital seperti video tutorial, aplikasi YouTube, dan pengenalan teknologi VR sederhana. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap teknik gerak, pola lantai, konsep tari kreasi berbasis budaya lokal, serta kemampuan menggunakan media digital dalam pembelajaran. Program ini juga menghasilkan satu karya tari kreasi tematik lokal, modul digital, dan video pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan guru secara mandiri. Kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan fasilitas ruang dan perangkat audio, serta kebutuhan pendampingan lanjutan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan implementasi. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru serta berpotensi direplikasi pada wilayah lain dengan karakteristik serupa. Kata Kunci: tari kreasi, kearifan lokal, interaktif digital, guru sekolah dasar, PKM

Abstract

Abstract. The rapid advancement of digital technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 requires university students to possess 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. However, observations conducted among students in higher education institutions indicated that many students still lack adequate understanding and practical experience related to microcontroller and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. This community service program aimed to enhance students’ technological literacy through hands-on microcontroller and IoT training using Arduino and ESP32 platforms with a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach. The implementation stages included socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. The results demonstrated significant improvement in students’ understanding of microcontroller and IoT concepts, enhanced practical skills, and the successful development of simple IoT-based projects such as smart lamps and temperature monitoring systems. Furthermore, the program supported the development of 21st-century competencies through collaborative activities and project presentations. This initiative positively contributed to improving technology-based learning quality in higher education and is expected to be sustainable through the provision of modules, instructional media, and continuous mentoring. Keywords: Microcontroller, Internet of Things, ESP32, Project-Based Learning, 21st-Century Skills.

Abstract

Abstract. Non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, obesity, and cardiovascular disease, are major causes of global morbidity and mortality. Risk factors for NCDs often develop gradually and remain undetected during productive age, including among educators who have high levels of activity and workload. Teachers are a strategic group that plays an important role in building a healthy lifestyle culture within the school environment, yet they often receive limited attention in preventive health screening programs. This community service activity aimed to conduct basic health screening among elementary and junior high school teachers at SIT Bina Insan Parepare as an effort to support early detection of NCD risk factors. The activity was carried out through the measurement of blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, random blood glucose levels, and health education on NCD prevention and healthy lifestyle practices. The activity also included brief consultations related to the participants’ examination results and health risk factors. The results showed that some participants had NCD risk factors, including elevated blood pressure, overweight/obesity, increased waist circumference, and random blood glucose levels above the normal range. In addition, participants showed high enthusiasm toward the health screening and education provided. This activity was beneficial in increasing teachers’ awareness of the importance of regular health checks and the adoption of healthy lifestyle behaviors as part of promotive and preventive efforts against non-communicable diseases.Keywords: health screening; non-communicable diseases; teachers; early detection; promotive and preventive; healthy aging

Abstract

Abstract. The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has transformed the way adolescents learn, interact, and access information, while also presenting both opportunities and challenges for their mental health. The introduction of Coding and Artificial Intelligence as subjects in the national curriculum has further increased adolescents’ exposure to AI. This community service program aimed to enhance digital literacy among adolescents in Kendari City, particularly their understanding of healthy AI use and its relationship with mental health. The implementation consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation through digital literacy socialization and training, and evaluation. The target participants were 45 secondary school students. The level of achievement was measured using pre-test and post-test assessments of participants’ understanding, which were analyzed descriptively and through a paired-samples t-test. The results showed an improvement in participants’ understanding, with the mean score increasing from 56 on the pre-test to 84 on the post-test (on a 100-point scale), and this increase was statistically significant. The program successfully raised adolescents’ awareness of using AI wisely, enabling technology to support rather than disrupt their mental health. The activity was conducted with the support of Forum Anak Sulawesi Tenggara as a community partner.Keywords: digital literacy; artificial intelligence; mental health; adolescents; Kendari

Abstract

Abstract. Karang Taruna is a youth organization that plays a strategic role in supporting village development through active community participation. However, the institutional capacity and technical competencies of Karang Taruna organizations in Barru Regency still face various challenges, particularly in carrying out development oversight functions. This community service program aimed to strengthen the capacity of Karang Taruna as a partner of village governments in monitoring and supervising village development. The methods employed included socialization, training, mentoring, digital technology implementation, and the development of a sustainability strategy. The training covered organizational governance, youth leadership, participatory village development monitoring, administrative management, and the utilization of information technology for reporting and transparency. The results demonstrated an improvement in the knowledge and skills of Karang Taruna members regarding village development mechanisms, participatory monitoring practices, and systematic reporting procedures. Furthermore, the program successfully enhanced collaboration between Karang Taruna and village governments in promoting more transparent, participatory, and accountable development governance. Program sustainability was supported through the establishment of village monitoring teams, the development of institutional partnerships, and the provision of participatory development monitoring guidelines. Therefore, Karang Taruna in Barru Regency has strengthened its potential to serve as a social control agent and a strategic partner of village governments in fostering sustainable development.Keywords: Karang Taruna, village development oversight, youth empowerment, institutional capacity, community participation, Barru Regency.

Abstract

Abstract. E-Commerce Based Diversification and Marketing Training for Coffee Products in Harapan Village, Barru Regency, South Sulawesi Towards a Mandi Entrepreneurial Village is a strategic effort made to improve the understanding and skills of coffee farmers in handling post-harvest coffee. In the early stages of Community Service (PKM) activities, it was found that coffee farmers in Harapan Village, Tanete Riaja District, did not have in-depth knowledge about post-harvest coffee handling and obstacles in the marketing system. Based on the results of the initial stage of observation, the solution carried out was to carry out a field assessment related to the analysis of the situation at the farmer level, organize farmers and provide training on post-harvest coffee handling. The methods of activities provided include: (1) direct observation method, (2) structured interview method, (3) lecture method, simulation, (4) open discussion method and also provide a module for handling post-harvest coffee as well as conducting evaluation and monitoring. The results of post-harvest coffee training activities have a positive impact on increasing the knowledge of coffee farmers in Harapan Village, which can be seen from the results of the pre-test 5.45% and post-test results of 8.27%. The results of the evaluation and monitoring carried out after 1 month of training activities, it is known that coffee farmers in Harapan Village have carried out post-harvest coffee activities, especially downstream processing of coffee beans. The conclusion of the coffee post-harvest training activity in Harapan village is the increase in knowledge and skills and the commitment of coffee farmers in post-harvest coffee activities. Keywords: Diversification; Marketing; Independent Village and E-Commerce
