Abstract

Fried onion processing business is aimed at obtaining optimal profits. The problem is the price of shallot raw materials which often fluctuate so that it affects business efficiency which will have an impact on production continuity. This study aims to determine the efficiency range of fried onion processing business in KWT Kemuning, Lubur Lama Village, Bermani Ilir District, Kepahiang Regency. The study was carried out in June 2021. Data collection was conducted through interviews with the management and members of the KWT processing fried onions. The data collected is input and output data of production, selling price of fried onions, materials and tools used, and processing. Observations to observe the processing of fried onions were used to clarify the data obtained at the time of the interview. Business efficiency was analyzed by calculating the R/C ratio and the profitability of the fried onion sales business. The results showed that the R/C ratio of fried onion processing was between 1.36 - 1.78 with profitability between 35.91 - 77.61. The fried onion processing business at KWT Kemuning is already efficient. The efficiency of the processing business is largely determined by fluctuations in the price of shallots. KWT kemuning will process fried onions at a price of raw materials (shallots) between Rp. 20,000 – Rp. 30,000 per kilogram. The break-even point of fried onion production at raw material prices is around Rp. 44,539/kg assuming other variable costs are fixed. The efficiency of the fried onion processing business is strongly influenced by the price of shallots in the market.

Abstract

This research is intended to obtain information on the yield power of these hybrid candidates. This research was conducted in November 2020 – January 2021. Located on the land of PT. Aditya Sentana Agro, Jl. Zentana No. 87, Karangploso District, Malang Regency, East Java. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with 1 treatment factor, namely 5 different genotypes consisting of 4 F1 melon lines and 1 comparison variety, namely Melindo-15 F1. 5 genotype, namely M0 : Melindo-15 F1, M1 : 821-41 x 1197- 118, M2 : 1197-19 x 1211-32, M3 : 1197-127 x 821-70, and M4 : 1211-7 x 1197-106. The results showed that the data information of the melon F1 line as a candidate variety with superior characters was significantly different on the parameters of harvest age and not significantly different on all parameters in quantitative research, weight of 1000 grains, weight per fruit, production per Ha. The results of the selection of 4 F1 melon lines that have yield potential exceeding the Melindo-15 F1 variety, namely the type of melon M1 (821-41 x 1197-118) with production per ha of 25.24 tons/ha and M3 (1197-127 x 821- 70) with production per Ha of 21.69 Ton/Ha

Abstract

This study examines the use of Urea Fertilizer on sweet corn plants and harvest time in an effort to increase production and quality. This study sought to identify the effect of giving various doses of urea fertilizer with harvest time and it was found that the interaction of fertilizer treatment with harvest time had a significantly different effect on sweet corn production. The study was conducted using a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with two factors, namely urea dose (P) consisting of 3 levels and harvest time (B) with 3 levels and 3 replications, so that there were 27 experimental units. Each experimental unit was taken 8 experimental samples. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance and continued with the 5% DMRT test. The treatment was given: P1 = Urea at a dose of 300 kg/ha P2 = Urea at a dose of 225 kg/ha P3 = Urea at a dose of 150 kg/ha and B1 = 12.00 WIB, B2 = 14.00 WIB, B3 = 16.00 WIB. The parameters studied were plant height (cm); Number of leaves (strands); Cob length (cm); Cob diameter (cm); and the level of sweetness (brix) and weight of cobs per bed. The implication that can be drawn from the results of this study is that the growth of sweet corn (plant height, number of leaves) and production (cob length, cob diameter, cob weight per sample, sweetness level) were not significantly different, the interaction of urea fertilizer treatment 150 kg/ha with a harvest time of 14.00 gave a significantly different effect on the weight of cobs per bed.

Abstract

The taste of Robusta coffee is largely determined by the way it is processed. The use of roaster and the type of roasting will affect the final result of the roasted coffee. This study aims to determine the panelists' preference for roasted coffee based on organoleptic (color, texture and taste) and to determine the chemical quality (water content and caffeine content) and the feasibility of the best treatment from organoleptic tests. This study used two treatments, namely Roasting equipment and the type of roasting. Roasting equipment consists of semi-automatic and automatic, while the types of roasting consist of light roasted, medium roasted and dark roasted. The results showed that the panelists liked roasted coffee from a roaster using a semi-automatic tool with a medium roasting type. Based on the best treatment, the water content value was 2.68% (meets SNI.01-2983-1992) and caffeine content was 23,177.4 mg/kg with an effort analysis based on the R/C ratio of 1.36 and BEP at 18.735.44 kg.Keywords : roasted coffee, roasting equipment, roasting type, organoleptic, chemical quality

Abstract

The research was aimed first: to understandability of GFP marker (green fluorescent protein) gave identities nitrogen-fixing bacteria that clear as endophytic when was the application to plant tissue. The research was aimed second: to understandability of nitrogen-fixing bacteria make special colonization as endophytic use Seed dressing method and Dipping method. The results of the research are GFP markers that show its ability to provide a clear identity as an endophytic bacterium when applied in natural microbial communion. Besides that, GFP is also stable in the applications on rice plant tissue and is able to provide a fairly clear expression. The bacteria Azospirillum lipoferum-1224, Azospirillum lipoferum-1247, Azorhizophilus paspali-2283, Azotobacter chroococum-2286 were able to colonize the rice plant tissue using either the inoculation method of Dipping or Seed dressing.
