Validation is meant to be the truth of a product developed. Validation aims to determine the validity of a product, for example, in Popular Scientific Book (BIP). BIP is written in a simple and easy to understand. Contains about everyday activities that relate to the life of the community. Binjai is a typical Kalimantan plant that has benefits related to the local wisdom. This research aims to describe validation of BIP resulting from the morphology and anatomy characterization of binjai. This research method uses an EDR by Plomp that is limited to the prototype stage and using Tessmer's formative evaluation. The subject of this research is the experts and users who will evaluate BIP. The data collection technique is a questionnaire distributed to the research subjects. The validity test showed that the developed BIP was categorized as very valid with score 85.42%. Readability the development BIP is categorized very well with score 95.83%.

The successful implementation of school based assessment has recorded positive influence on teaching and learning process in developed countries of the world. However, among the developing countries like Nigeria, there seem to be a lot of challenges. Hence, the purpose of study was to determine the extent school based assessment influence the teaching and learning experience in science subjects in Anambra State, Nigeria and the challenges encountered in the process. The investigation was conducted using a descriptive survey design. The study made use of mean and standard deviation for data analysis. The findings of the study revealed that school based assessment influences the teaching and learning of science subjects to a high extent. Moreover, the use of unprofessional teachers, inadequate teachers/students motivation and lack of unwillingness by the students to take part in school based assessment are some of the problems facing the successful implementation of school based assessment while adequate motivation of the teachers, employment of trained teachers and organizing conferences and seminars to train the teachers on school based assessment guidelines among others were proffered as the solutions to eradicate these challenges.

Biology learning is closely related to conceptual understanding. Incorrect understanding of students if not immediately corrected can lead to misconceptions. This study aims to analyze and identify the causes of students' misconceptions about cell material using a four-tier diagnostic test with the CRI method. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population used was all students of class XI MA Darul Muqorrobin Kendal. The research subjects were 52 students using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using tests, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the data analysis showed that the percentage of students who had misconceptions was 51%, understood the concept 22%, guessed 10% and did not understand the concept 17%. While the highest misconception for each sub material is 60% in protein synthesis. The percentage of factors that cause misconceptions from students is 60%, teachers are 44%, learning methods are 66%, teaching context errors are 48%, and textbooks are 40%. Based on the results of this analysis, misconceptions still often occur in cell material, so further research is needed on other materials.

The objectives of this research are as follows: 1) find out what types of ferns (Pteridophyta) exist in the SikarimWaterfall area. 2) Knowing the suitability of e-modules as biology teaching materials for students. 3) Analyze the effectiveness of e-modules on students' cognitive learning outcomes. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) 4D model. At the dissemination stage, a small-scale trial was carried out with a one-group pretest post-test design. The subjects in this research were class X-7 students at SMAN 1 Mojotengah. The results of this research show that the e-module based on the potential of Pteridophyta in the Sikarim Waterfall Area is suitable for use as teaching material on biodiversity material, with scores obtained from material experts of 93.22% and media experts of 87.17% as well as filling in responses from participants students amounted to 82.22% and teacher responses amounted to 95.57%. The effectiveness of e-modules on student learning outcomes is based on the N-Gain value. The calculation results show differences in the pretest and post-test results. The increase in student learning outcomes is categorized as high, with an N-Gain of 0.789. Therefore, it can be concluded that the e-module based on the potential of Pteridophyta in the Sikarim Waterfall Area is feasible and effective for use as biology teaching material on biodiversity

Students' abilities in the learning process are, of course, different, so the grades obtained are also different. Enrichment modules are used as alternative teaching materials for students with more abilities and have achieved minimum completeness criteria to increase and deepen knowledge about local potential. The enrichment module created presents the use of biodiversity, especially medicinal plants in Tirta Kencana Village, Bengkayang Regency, so that students can get to know the types of medicinal plants and their benefits and how to process them. This research aims to test the feasibility of the submaterial enrichment module for utilizing biodiversity. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall model. The enrichment module was validated by 5 validators at SMA, namely 2 lecturers and 3 biology teachers. Data analysis using the Lawshe formula obtained a CVI value of 0.99 so that the enrichment module was declared valid or suitable for use as teaching material in the learning process on the sub-material of using biodiversity

This research analyzes the characteristics and feasibility of developing biolarga (biology of snakes and ladders) learning media containing critical thinking skills on human reproductive system material. Development is carried out using a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Learning media was developed and tested on MTs N 3 Grobogan class IX students. The data collection instrument uses a validation sheet to determine product suitability through validators, media experts, language experts, material experts, critical thinking experts, and practitioner experts. Based on the results of the validation and trials on students, the average percentage of eligibility was 84.28%. The result of this research indicates that the learning media developed is suitable for use as a medium to support the learning process, especially regarding the human reproductive system

Most students are not skilled in writing scientific arguments, have not expressed opinions accompanied by relevant data, learning uses teacher-centered discussion methods but is still not optimal, and teachers have never applied learning to improve students' argumentation skills. So, an alternative for improving students' argumentation skills is to use the Argument Inquiry (ADI) model, a recommendation for a 21st-century skills inquiry learning model that can improve students' argumentation skills. This research aims to analyze student activities in implementing the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) model using Interactive E-LKPD, to analyze the increase in argumentation skills in students who apply the ADI model using Interactive E-LKPD and students who do not apply the ADI model using E-LKPD Interactive, and to analyze how students respond after learning by implementing the ADI model assisted by Interactive E-LKPD. This research was carried out at Al-Azhar 5 Cirebon Islamic High School. With a class X population, the samples are classes X.3 and X.1. Research on student activities during 3 meetings showed that the experimental class obtained the highest average score in the double-blind peer review syntax. The students' lowest activity during the learning process was the syntax for revising peer review reports. There is a significant difference in the increase in students' argumentation skills for the better after implementing the ADI learning model compared to students who did not apply the ADI learning model. The response of students who applied the ADI model assisted by Interactive E-LKPD showed a positive response

This research is motivated by students' difficulty understanding the material taught, the tendency of learning processes to be boring, and the continued use of conventional teaching materials. This study aims to determine the influence of using PBL-based worksheets on students' interests and learning outcomes. This research is quantitative in nature with a quasi-experimental design. Data collection methods in this study include questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Subject matter experts and media experts conducted the validity test. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results show a significant positive influence between using PBL-based worksheets and interest and learning outcomes. This is based on the results of MANOVA tests using questionnaire results and N-Gain values, which obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, indicating the influence of using PBL-based worksheets on interest and learning outcomes.
