Abstract

This research is inspired by a question: why does curriculum 2013 using integrated thematic learning. To address this question, a philosophical, psychological, and juridical basis should be discussed. By understanding those things, integrated thematic learning is suited with curriculum 2013. As the description above, this study is to focus on how the integrated thematic learning at MI level is implemented because this learning will become a main model that educators should develop the curriculum 2013. Referring to Integrated thematic learning of curriculum 2013, science and social studies are not removed but they are integrated based on theme. Those studies will be topics of all subjects in MI. This integration is done in two points: (1) attitude, skill, and knowledge integration in learning process and (2) integration of basic concepts that are closely related. The theme makes a meaning among basic concepts so the students do not learn partially. Therefore, science and social studies give a whole meaning to the learners as reflected at the available theme: انطلقت هذه الدراسة من السؤال "لما لابد أن يكون تطبيق المنهج الدراسي 2013 على أساس التعليم الوموضوعي الموحّد" ؟ . لإجابة هذا السؤال لابد من دراسة أسسه الفلسفية والنفسية والحكمية، فبالفهم العميق لهذه الأسس الثلاثة فالتعليم الموضوعى الموحّد هو المناسب للمنهج الدراسي 2013. وعلى هذا الأساس أُجريت هذه الدراسة مركزّة في "كيف يكون التدريس الموضوعي الموحّد في مستوى المدرسة الإبتدائية "، لأن هذا النموذج من التدريس هو نموذج رئيس ويجب على المدرس تطويرها لأجل تطبيق النهج الدراسي 2013.  وفي المنهج الدراسي 2013، كانت مادة علم الطبيعة وعلم الإجتماع لا تحذفان وإنما تُوحّدان على أساس الموضوع. أصبحت هاتان المادتان موضوع دراسة في جميع المواد الدراسية في المدارس الإبتدائية. ويكون هذا التوحيد والتمزيج في جانبين، الأول ،التمزيج الموقفي والمهاري والمعلومات في عملية التعليم، والثاني تمزيج المفاهيم الأساسية المتعلقة بها. كان الموضوع جمع شتّى المفاهيم الأساسية حتى لا يدرس الطلاب المفاهيم الأساسية مفرّقة. بهذا كان تدريس علم الطبيعة وعلم الإجتماع يعطيان الطلاب المعنى الموحّد كما يظهر ذلك في المواد الدراسية المتنوعة

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the possibility of spiritual values that is integrated with subject-matter of general subjects, especially science (IPA). The method of analysis in this paper adopts the basic principles of values education in Islam is monotheism, science and morals, which is based on the integration of knowledge between public science with the science of religion (non-dichotomous). Integration of Islamic values in the science learning manifest in the pattern of the overall science learning (integral-holistic) appreciates the existence of a general science or science as the study of Islamic religious knowledge as well as responding to the needs of society and the family. In regard to the implementation of learning the values of unity, stimulating science search continuously and pay attention to aspects of students' moral and noble character.

Abstract

Natural science and social science are integrated into the 2013 curriculum based on the themes in all subjects of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) (Islamic Primary School). The integration is done in two ways, namely the integration of attitudes, skills and knowledge in the learning process and the related basic concepts. Themes related to the meaning of the basic concepts, so students do not learn them partially. This approach is appropriate for MI students because of the psychological point of view; they have not been able to think abstractly to understand content of a separate subject. Thereby, the classroom atmosphere are comfortable and fun, students can learn to solve social problems and mutual respect, they get opportunities as possible to learn better, get the information quickly, apply materials directly in the context of daily life, and apply the principle of mastery learning. Keywords: Tematik, IPA, IPS, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

Abstract

AbstractSocial competency is an important aspect for teachers in making effective learning. It can provide opportunities for students to undertake positive activities that can improve performances. Powered by good communication, the teacher will be more easily conveying a variety of information in particular lessons to be taught to students. In reality, however, social competence in learning is still overlooked by teachers, as it is often found in the learning process suggests that the interaction of teachers and students who are less effective and efficient, teachers who behave immorally and violencely. So, it is difficult to achieve effective learning. Therefore, social competence is very important for teachers. For that, teachers should improve it with effective communication, discussion and direct visitation to the community, training related to social competence, deepen knowledge of human relations, mastering social psychology, and adaptation to work in places. Key words:competency, social, efektiveness, learning

Abstract

Madrasah Nizhamiyya is the momentum of the history of Islamic education, the pioneer of institutional Islamic education system, and the driving force behind the establishment of similar institutions in the history of Islamic education. In addition, the birth of this educational institution is also seen as an effort to awaken Sunni orthodoxy. On the other hand, this institution is the starting point for the decline of science, because the supremacy of the religious sciences in it raises the dichotomy and antagonization of various branches of science. Whereas in Islam there is no recognition of the essential separation between the religious sciences and the "profane sciences", because it all boils down to the knowledge of the Only One - the substance of all knowledge.Keywords: Madrasah, education, Sunni

Abstract

Abstrak Kajian sejarah mengenai lembaga pendidikan selama ini lebih banyak terfokus kepada madrasah. Padahal kuttab adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang tidak kalah pentingnya. Kuttab merupakan pendidikan dasar untuk anak-anak usia dini dan yang terpinggirkan. Keberadaannya sudah ada sejak sebelum Islam sampai terutama dengan kemunculan madrasah, meskipun selanjutnya tetap bertahan dalam lingkup yang terbatas. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan, kuttab menunjukkan peran yang sangat penting bagi pendidikan anak-anak khususnya dalam literasi dan pendidikan dasar agama. Meskipun sistem pendidikan ini bersifat tradisional, namun kuttab sangat berperan dalam membangun literasi yang baik bagi masyarakat Islam terutama di awal-awal sejarah Islam.  Pendekatan yang digunakan antara lain keteladanan dan pembiasaan.
