Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the intensity of handling children with screens connected to the internet. This has resulted in an increase in cases of IAD (Internet Addiction Disorder) in children. This study aims to determine language acquisition in children with IAD (Internet Addiction Disorder). This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were obtained through direct observation and experimentation with the research subjects, namely children who were in language acquisition (aged 4-5 years). There are several findings in this study. The first finding is differences in language mastery in children before and during the Covid 19 pandemic. Differences influence this in language input where during the pandemic, children's language input was dominated by the media. The following finding is that children with IAD experience several obstacles in mastering language, such as difficulties in making argumentative sentences, comparative sentences, and assembling sentences in complex stories. Besides that, the following finding is that children with IAD tend to acquire a diverse vocabulary, some of which are not according to age. Through these findings, the researcher calls for the active role of stakeholders such as the government, parents, community, and academics in anticipating the negative impacts of excessive internet use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji problematika komunikasi antara pengasuh dan santriwati dalam membina akhlak di Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Qur’an Tazkiyah Batang Kuis. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan memahami kendala-kendala komunikasi yang terjadi serta bagaimana komunikasi tersebut mempengaruhi proses pembinaan akhlak santriwati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa kendala utama dalam komunikasi antara pengasuh dan santriwati, termasuk perbedaan pemahaman, kesenjangan generasi, serta kurangnya keterampilan komunikasi dari kedua belah pihak. Komunikasi yang kurang efektif seringkali menyebabkan salah pengertian dan ketidakjelasan dalam penyampaian pesan moral dan nilai-nilai akhlak. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa dengan adanya komunikasi yang lebih terbuka dan penggunaan metode pengasuhan yang lebih interaktif, pengasuh dapat lebih efektif dalam membina akhlak santriwati. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang dinamika pengasuhan dan pembinaan akhlak di pondok pesantren, serta menawarkan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi antara pengasuh dan santriwati. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan bagi pengembangan metode pengasuhan yang lebih baik dalam konteks pendidikan pesantren.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of Instagram @wonderfuljogja as a medium that shares various information regarding public curiosity regarding trends in Yogyakarta. Instagram social media is a popular social platform and has many users, so it is very suitable as a forum for sharing information and sharing experiences in various fields. With a focus on analysis on the @wonderfuljogja account, it was carried out using a descriptive qualitative method using content analysis of the content presented, including the various types of content delivered, intensity of posts, use of images, and responses from @wonderfuljogja Instagram followers. The results of the content analysis of @wonderfuljogja Instagram content provide broader knowledge and insight regarding the use of Instagram in providing and conveying various information about Yogyakarta such as tourist destinations, Yogyakarta regional culture, events held in Yogyakarta and even various other general information. provide a social impact on the audience on Instagram. In conclusion, the Instagram account @wonderfuljogja is a platform that provides benefits as a medium that provides various information about Yogyakarta and can fulfill the public's information needs about Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Indonesian have a habit of throwing rubbish carelessly. Waste really pollutes the environment and affects the global climate, Indonesia is the third country contributing plastic waste in the world in 2020. The government does not care about environmental issues. This research aims to determine the influence of a group or community on behavior change in terms of developing a healthy environment in society. The waste problem in Indonesia is difficult to deal with, throwing rubbish carelessly is the culture in Indonesia, regulations regarding waste in Indonesia are not enforced enough. According to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, only 20% of Indonesian people care about waste. People are used to throwing rubbish carelessly, such as into rivers and beaches. Lack of knowledge about waste processing. The rules regarding waste are only normative. Researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods, as well as three paradigms in communicating change for development. First, Behavior Change Communication, Communication for Social Change, Advocacy Communication. Pandawara Group uses social media to influence society. With the Pandawara Group going viral, many people were inspired and took part in cleaning rivers and beaches. The local government participates in supporting Pandawara activities. Many people are interested in this movement, but this is only temporary, without strict sanctions and self-awareness, the behavior of littering continues to occur

Abstract

Craftsmen of various typical Baduy products have experienced a decline in income since the Covid-19 pandemic. In the first year of the pandemic, visits to Baduy were still relatively high with 20,319 local tourists and 8 foreign tourists in 2020. Then visits shrank to 6,274 tourists throughout 2021. This article aims to see how marketing communications are applied in a more effective effort to increase tourist visits to recovery using a social phenomena approach with qualitative analysis. The results found show that an integrated approach, combining soft selling and hard selling, has succeeded in improving the economy of the Baduy community by increasing the number of visitors by 22%, especially in the context of revitalizing their traditional weaving industry. The pattern of interaction developed by the Baduy community towards tourists is active interaction, either face to face or in groups, where storytelling about Baduy culture and historical values attracts tourists in buying souvenirs and natural products from the Baduy community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana strategi komunikasi Salam TV dalam menyiarkan program Kisah Teladan kepada para khalayak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Onong Uchjana Effendy yang melibatkan elemen- elemen komunikasi seperti komunikator, komunikan, pesan, media, dan efek media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Salam TV menggunakan strategi komunikasi yang efektif dalam menyiarkan program Kisah Teladan. Komunikator, yaitu presenter program, dipilih berdasarkan pengetahuan dan keahlian mereka dalam menyampaikan pesan moral dan religius. Komunikan, yaitu para khalayak, diidentifikasi sebagai masyarakat umum yang membutuhkan konten inspiratif dan edukatif. Pesan media disusun dengan baik, menggabungkan narasi yang menarik dengan nilai-nilai keislaman yang mendalam. Efek media yang diharapkan dari strategi ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan keimanan khalayak terhadap ajaran agama Islam, serta motivasi untuk mengambil teladan dari kisah-kisah yang disampaikan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya strategi komunikasi yang tepat dalam menyampaikan pesan moral dan religius melalui media massa, seperti televisi, untuk mencapai tujuan edukasi dan dakwah yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

This research discusses the planning and implementation of innovative da'wah carried out by the Indonesian Mosque Youth Communication Agency (BKPRMI) in an effort to strengthen youth religious development in Tanjung Tiram District. Adolescents are one group that requires special attention in religious formation. However, the challenges faced in presenting da'wah that is relevant to current developments are something that cannot be ignored. The method in this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research reveals effective strategies implemented by BKPRMI in carrying out da'wah that is relevant to current developments. The research results show that BKPRMI has carried out careful planning in facing challenges and BKPRMI has implemented various innovations in da'wah, such as the use of digital media, mentoring programs and social religious activities specifically designed to attract the interest of teenagers. Apart from that, collaboration with schools, local communities and parents is also the key to success in this coaching program. The challenges faced include limited resources, resistance from some teenagers, and lack of support from several related parties.

Abstract

This research discusses the documentary film "Dirty Vote" which successfully shocked the world of politics in Indonesia. This research is qualitative research by producing descriptive data. Researchers use Zongdan Pan & Kosicki's Framing analysis to see how the reality of the issue of fraud in the 2024 Election is structured, told, written and emphasized in the construction of a documentary film. The conclusions obtained from this research can be divided into four major structures, including: (1) Syntactic Structure, the film Dirty Vote tells about democracy which cannot be interpreted as limited to the implementation of elections and tells about power being misused; (2) The structure of the script prepared in the film Dirty Vote starts from a vote survey which shows symptoms of transactional politics, political practices of retribution, violations of integrity pacts, mass mobilization efforts in GBK, cases of corruption in village funds, intimidation of village heads, misuse and increase of budget funds. significant social assistance ahead of the election, the non-neutrality of the President and State Apparatus, Bawaslu failing to supervise the election, various KPU violations and the controversial Constitutional Court decision; (3) Thematic structure, shown in the narrative where it is stated that this victory has been planned and arranged in a structured, systematic and massive manner over the last 10 years and is controlled by power holders who can move the state apparatus and budget; (4) Rhetorical structure, Dandhy as the director wants to emphasize Jokowi's expressions which are very different from the current situation, where all his children are involved in the world of politics. However, it should be remembered that this film has no influence on the results of the 2024 presidential election recapitulation by the KPU which stated that the Prabowo – Gibran pair received the most votes in Indonesia

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Relevansi pekerjaan alumni dengan Profil Lulusan Prodi Komunikasi Penyiaran Islam Institut Agama Islam Negeri Curup. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriftif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitia adalah semua alumni dari tahun 2016-2021 yang berjumlah 138 orang. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan sampel sukarelawan. Teknik pengumpulan data mengguanakan angket online yang disebarkan melalui media social dan whatsapp. Sebanyak 99 responde bersedia mengisi angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa distribusi lulusan Prodi Komunikasi Penyiaran Islam (KPI) di IAIN Curup selama periode 2016 hingga 2021 mengalami fluktuasi. Pada tahun-tahun tertentu, terdapat peningkatan atau penurunan jumlah lulusan. Hal ini mungkin dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, seperti tren minat mahasiswa, perubahan kebijakan penerimaan mahasiswa, dan faktor-faktor lain yang memengaruhi jumlah lulusan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan Sebanyak 99 lulusan yang mengisi survei dengan 86 orang bekerja dan 13 orang tidak bekerja. Keterserapan alumni dalam beberapa sektor seperti pendidikan, Pemerintah Daerah, Swasta dan wiraswasta. Kebanyakan alumni mendapatkan pekerjaan melalui teman dan mencari melalui search engine. Masa tunggu bekerja kebanyakan dibawah 3 bulan dan penghasilan alumni kebanyakan dibawah 2 juta rupiah. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan masing-masing lulusan yang mengisi, lulusan tahun 2016 dan 2019 yang paling tidak sesuai relevansi pekerjaan dengan profil lulusan prodi KPI yakni sebanyak 67% dan 57%. Namun secara keseluruhan lulusan dari 2016-2021 telah memiliki pekerjaan yang relevan dengan lulusan prodi KPI

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji representasi fenomena crosshijabers dalam media online Indonesia dan implikasinya terhadap diskursus keislaman kontemporer. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode Analisis Wacana Kritis (CDA) Norman Fairclough, studi ini meneliti dua artikel berita online: "Crosshijabers, Bencana bagi Fashion Hijab?" dan "Salah Kaprah Komunitas Pria Berjilbab". Analisis diperkaya dengan interpretasi tekstual QS. Ali 'Imran: 36 dan An-Nur ayat 31, serta eksplorasi motif internal dan eksternal crosshijabers. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media online cenderung membingkai fenomena crosshijabers secara negatif, memperkuat interpretasi konservatif tentang gender dalam Islam. Analisis linguistik mengungkapkan penggunaan kata-kata berkonotasi negatif dan struktur kalimat yang menempatkan crosshijabers sebagai ancaman terhadap norma sosial dan agama. Interpretasi ayat Al-Qur'an yang digunakan dalam wacana ini cenderung literal, mengabaikan konteks historis dan sosial. Sementara itu, analisis motif crosshijabers mengungkapkan kompleksitas identitas gender dan ekspresi diri yang tidak terakomodasi dalam narasi media dominan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa wacana media tentang crosshijabers mencerminkan dan memperkuat ketegangan antara interpretasi tradisional Islam dan ekspresi identitas gender kontemporer. Narasi yang dibangun berpotensi meningkatkan stigmatisasi dan membatasi ruang diskusi tentang keberagaman gender dalam konteks keislaman. Studi ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendekatan yang lebih berimbang dan inklusif dalam memahami dan meliput isu-isu yang berkaitan dengan gender, agama, dan identitas dalam masyarakat Indonesia yang beragam.
