Abstract

Love and hate are very common happen in human life when they have relationship with others. In the literary work of novel, there are the writers who use the theme of their works about love and hate through the characters which they create. This research use Psichology Approachof Love and Hate.The researchers use the theory of triangular of love based on Sternberg’s journal and hate theory based on Krech and Dana Harron. Furthermore, this study focuses on Friends With Benefits relationship turns out to be true loveThis research aims to prove that love can come from anywhere, especially having a relationship with benefits and hatred is not always for revenge, because there is hatred we can find out what we like and dislike also not fall into the same thing as is done by Nikole and Carlos. Hatred brings them closer to each other and shares stories. This study uses the method of qualitative research, types of library research, interpretative analysis using the method of data collection in the form of literary texts from the novel The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory as a primary source and supported by some of the literatures to relate the theory, concept and the relevant definition as a secondary source. The result of this research is sometimes we have to get to know someone very deeply even though it hurts to see if love is true or not. I believe that hate doesn't always mean bad. Hate teaches us really khow to love someone right and love also generates hatred based on the character Nik is always in touch with his ex and indirectly compares his ex to Carlos because Nikole doesn't want to fall a second time in the same hole.

Abstract

The purpose is to increase critical thinking skills and conceptual understanding of mathematical trigonometric equations through problem-based learning model. The type of money research used is PTK with the subjects of all class XI MIA 3 students of SMA Negeri 1 Pandaan in the 2019/2019 academic year, totaling 35 students. The results showed that after the first cycle was implemented, 73.06% of students who think critically with sufficient qualifications were obtained, then increased in the second cycle with a result of 81.66%. The students’ conceptual understanding also increased where in the first cycle of 35 students only 6 students (17.14%), then increased in cycle II to 19 students (54.29%) with good qualification. It showed that the problem-based learning model can actually improve critical thinking skills and conceptual understanding because students are actively involved in collecting, studying, and discussing math facts related to the subject matter of trigonometric equations compared to before.

Abstract

This study aims to provide learning to puberty students from the results of validated learning designs. Through embryogenesis material that takes precedence with knowledge and is strengthened by a religious approach that further strengthens the character of puberty students to manifest themselves. This study uses a phenomenological approach through learning observations and student and teacher interviews to describe how the learning process occurs. Student data responses in learning and teacher responses obtained through interviews and observer field notes were then analyzed with the research team to be presented. Through the science and religion approach students become more open and aware of their life origins, respect themselves and their families. The teacher also stated that his hesitation in delivering this material was resolved by this method. Through the approach of religion and scientific facts for the age of puberty students, learning becomes more contextual and strengthen the character of adolescent students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of Classroom Approach Management can improve the Discipline of Class VB Students at SDN 002 Sungai Pinang in 2020. This research was conducted at SDN 002 Sungai Pinang from April to July 2020. This research design used a qualitative research design. The population of this study used students of class VB SDN 002 Sungai Pinang. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the research subjects namely the teacher, the principal and four students. This study uses data collection techniques with interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. Based on the results of research and interviews, it is known that there are ten approaches that are applied by teachers in the classroom in improving discipline. The teacher takes this approach in turn according to the classroom situation. However, of the ten applied approaches that are more widely applied and have an influence in increasing student discipline, namely the power approach, for example, the imposition of sanctions, the freedom approach, for example, including students in making rules in class, teaching approaches.

Abstract

Nowadays, people can easily access everything with one-click away. For example, when you want to read an article in foreign language which you are not familiar with, then you just need to open Google Translate and within seconds, you will get the translation of it. To deal with that reality, a translator has to differentiate himself from machine translation which is increasingly used by the public. Therefore, the translator is required to produce an equivalent and natural translation in the Target Language. This research aims to provide understanding of translation equivalence on video transcripts conducted by students in Movie Translation (Subtitling) course. This study uses qualitative approach, content analysis method, and purposive sampling to collect data. In short, there are two types of translation equivalence used by students, formal and dynamic. Formal equivalence focuses on the similarity of the form and meaning of the message from Source Language to Target Language, while dynamic one focuses on the naturalness of expression in the Target Language.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether modif and medan can improve Civics learning outcomes class VII at MTs Negeri 2 Karanganyar. The method used was development research with a population of 315 students from 10 classes, with a random sample of 59 students. The results showed that the increase in Civics learning outcomes of students in the experimental class obtained a higher average pretest and psychological test compared to the control class, namely 80 and 65 and there was an implication on the increase in the value increase of pretest cycle I 79.3 (including good category) to 85.5 in the pretest cycle II and postest 95.9 cycle I to 98.6 (very good category) cycle II.
