The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Metro. The method that will be used in this study is a true experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted by 22 students of class VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Metro even semester as samples. After receiving treatment using the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model, student learning outcomes have increased seen from the comparison in the pretest and posttest evaluations, namely students who achieve KKM in the pretest evaluation are 27.27% or 6 students from a total of 22 students. While the students who achieved the KKM in the posttest evaluation were 68.18%, namely 15 students from a total of 22 students. This is evidenced again by the calculation of data analysis using the Simple Linear Regression formula obtained = 55.5505+ b = 0.3183 so that Y = + bx is( Y) =55.5505+0.3183x and the analysis calculation that t_hitung> t_tab which is seen at a significant level of 5%, namely 2.90 > 1.72. And at a significant level of 1%, namely 2.90> 2.53. Which can be seen in the table G statistics. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted. So it can be concluded that "there is a positive influence of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Metro in even semesters"

Habits of mind are one of the many factors that influence mathematical critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to describe students' mathematical critical thinking skills on straight line equation material studied based on habits of mind. The results obtained: 1) There are 3 categories of habits of mind that appear, namely 29.73% high categories with the ability to think critically mathematically can provide statements in the form of reasons; evaluates gradient values; make a statement and consider it; provide a coherent and detailed explanation; set the strategy to be used, 51.35% of the medium category with the ability to think critically in mathematics can provide a statement in the form of reasons; evaluates gradient values; make a statement and consider it; just write down the steps without explanation on the written test; have a strategy to solve the questions but not according to the indicators and 18.92% low category with the ability to think critically mathematically can give statements in the form of reasons evaluates gradient values, but calculations are wrong; unable to make a statement and consider it; just write down the steps without explanation; do not have a strategy to solve the problem. The purpose of this study was to find out the learning obstacles in linear program assessed by mathematical beliefs at the Mujahidin Senior High School. The form of research used in this study is a case study. The data source used in this study was the students of class XI MIPA 1 in Pontianak Mujahidin High School, the data of which were the results of students' mathematical belief questionnaires and the answers of research subjects on the given test. Students learning obstacles in linear program material revealed in this study were assessed from mathematical beliefs including: students with mathematical beliefs in believing about mathematical characteristics have obstacles in the form of not being able to determine the mathematical model of linear program because he not understand teacher explanations, students with mathematical belief in believing about self abilitiy have an obstacles like not being able to mention the benefits of a linear program, students with mathematical beliefs in believing about teaching mathematics experience obstacles like not being able to make mathematical models correctly and the last is students with mathematical beliefs in believing about the usefulness of mathematics experiencing obstacles like not being able to make mathematical models because forget..

This research aimed to describe mathematical communication skills, mathematical resilience, and the relationship between mathematical communication skills and mathematical resilience. This research used a quantitative approach with a correlation research design. The population in this study were students of grade XI SMA Negeri 2 Teluk Keramat and the sample was students of grade XI MIPA 2.The results showed that the mathematical communication skills students tend to have is the ability to express mathematical concepts by stating daily events in language or mathematical symbols (mathematical expression ability) which were able to be achieved by the students as much as 62%. Whereas for mathematical resilience that students tend to have is to have curiosity, reflect, research, and make use of various sources in mathematics learning, which contributed 38.7% and were able to be achieved by 16 students (76%). Furthermore, based on the results of the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, a significance value of 0.021 and a correlation value of 0.500 was obtained. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between mathematical communication skills, mathematical resilience, and the strength of the correlation between the two variables is classified as moderate. This research aims to know the effectiveness of LKPD from comic in mathematics teaching a algebra’s subject for students of SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. This research is classified as a pre-experimental in form of one shot case study design. The population of this research were students of eleven grade science program, and the samples is 1 class of students in eleven grade science program. The sample were selected by conducting purposive sampling. The revenue of data analysis point out that the learning activity was very active with the average student learning activities obtained by 89.35%, the study result was reached. Student gave a great feedback, the implementation of learning management by teachers in learning mathematics was classified as ‘very good’. Based on the research findings that four cathegories of effectiveness was reached, therefore the application of LKPD from comic was effective in mathematic teaching a algebra materials to the students grade XI science 2 of SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak.Keywords: Effectiveness, LKPD, Comic

Al-Qur'an verses can be used as a source of mathematics learning that contains the values of mathematics education, because, it can improve students' reasoning, application, mathematical skills, and student's personality. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the results of the exploration of the values of mathematics education based on the verses of the Al-Qur'an, especially for the tenth grade of senior high school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with the form of research is library research. The research subjects were the Al-Qur'an verses and the mathematics function for tenth grade senior high school. The results showed that the values of mathematics education based on the verses of the Qur'an with mathematics functions for tenth grade students are found in surah Al Baqarah verse 184. From these verses, exploration of the values of mathematics education has been integrated with the core competencies of the curriculum 2013, so it is divided into two, formal values that contain spiritual and social aspects, and material values that contain knowledge and application aspects. This research aims to determine the algebraic thinking skills of students in solving questions on the subject of the Pythagorean theorem in students of SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive method in the form of case studies. The subjects in this study were six students and the object in this study was the ability to think algebraically in solving problems on the subject of the Pythagorean theorem. The data collection techniques used were test and non-test (interview). In this research, there is one student who achieves generational activities, two students in transformational activities and one student in global meta-level activities. In general, it can be concluded that the ability to think algebra in solving the problem of the Pythagorean theorem in SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak is that students are in transformational activities even though in generational activities students do not entirely write algebraic forms and equations. Students also have not been able to solve problems by writing down the rules used at each step, and not writing conclusions. This study aims to obtain students' creative thinking skills based on Adversity Quotient intelligence on the flat shape material at SMK-SMTI Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive method with survey research form. The number of research subjects was 12 students of class XI SMK-SMTI Pontianak. The data collection tools used were a written test to determine the level of students 'mathematical creative thinking skills and an Adversity Quotient questionnaire to determine students' AQ intelligence. The results of the research on the mathematical creative thinking ability test showed that there were no students who could meet the novelty indicators, so that level 1 (Very Creative) mathematical creative thinking skills were not fulfilled. From the AQ questionnaire given to 12 students containing the CORE dimension, it was obtained a group of students with high AQ intelligence or it could be called the climber category group. In the climber category there are 2 people (17%). Students in the moderate AQ intelligence group or what could be called the camper category group numbered 10 people (83%). Meanwhile, students in the low AQ intelligence group or the quitter category group were not found in this study. This shows that there are no students who avoid assignments or who immediately give up without trying first. Keywords: Creative Thinking Skill, Adversity Quotient, and area of plane shapes.

Mathematics is a science that is always used by humans throughout their lives. In the selection of the West Kalimantan Agricultural Ambassador, we will look for the concept of activities related to mathematics concepts and implementation with school mathematics. Using a descriptive method, because the purpose of this study is to describe the mathematical concepts contained in the selection of the West Kalimantan Agricultural Ambassador. Researchers conducted interviews with 4 sources. It aims to obtain data related to the selection of the West Kalimantan Agricultural Ambassador. From the results of the interview, the researcher digs up information about the preparation, implementation and closing activities. There is a mathematical concept in the third, the aspect of selecting the West Kalimantan Agricultural Ambassador.

AbstractThe mathematical representation ability referred to in this study is the ability to express mathematical ideas or ideas to solve a problem with various mathematical representations of visual forms (pictures) and verbal forms (writing).This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach which aims to describe systematically the ability of visual mathematical representations and the ability of verbal mathematical representations.The data collection technique in this study was carried out using essay. Test questions were given to student an grade VIII A at SMP Negeri 1 Mandor, where there were three groups, namely the upper, middle, and lower group. Students who will be interviewed are selected based on the representation ability test scores where only two students will represent for each group.The results showed that the ability of visual mathematical representation when given verbal form questions to answer indicators using pictures was in the percentage of students' average score 66.67% and the ability of verbal mathematical representation if given visual questions, for the answer indicator using words is in the percentage of the student's average score of 33.33%. Students still have difficulty with verbal representation if given a visual form. Keywords: visual representation, verbal representation and trangle material
