Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' perceptions of Indonesian values through flag ceremonies at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Limboto, Gorontalo Regency. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection procedures through observation, interviews, and documentation. In this research, inductive data analysis is conducted through data collection, analysis, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research data sources involve primary data sources, consisting of the school principal, teachers, and students. The results of the research indicate that educators' efforts in implementing Indonesian values in students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Limboto, Gorontalo Regency, have been well executed. This is evident in aspects such as discipline, nationalism, leadership, and camaraderie established among the students. The objectives of the flag ceremony are also achieved, where students demonstrate love for their homeland, nation, and religion. They also show a sense of responsibility and personal discipline, maintaining order in their daily lives. Additionally, students exhibit a spirit of mutual cooperation, the ability to lead and be led, and the capability to conduct ceremonies with reverence and orderliness. The implications and contributions of this research encompass various aspects that can affect multiple stakeholders. It can provide valuable input for educators and education professionals at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Limboto and other schools, allowing them to adopt proven practices to enhance students' Indonesian values. This study could serve as a foundation for curriculum development focused on shaping Indonesian values and improving the leadership role in instilling these values within the school environment. Furthermore, this research contributes to the education literature, particularly in the context of character formation among students.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the use of anecdotal assessment in measuring the cognitive learning achievement of early childhood children in the context of the Merdeka curriculum at the Integrated Early Childhood Education Citra Bakti. The method applied is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Primary data sources include interview results and observations of children's and teachers' activities, while secondary sources consist of documented planning and assessments previously conducted. Data analysis was performed descriptively. The research findings indicate that at the Integrated Early Childhood Education Citra Bakti, the Merdeka curriculum is implemented using anecdotal assessment, covering achievements in religious values, morals, identity, and literacy. The effectiveness of anecdotal assessment is proven in evaluating the learning achievements of early childhood children in the Merdeka curriculum, providing a comprehensive overview of social, emotional, and cognitive development aspects. This approach is in line with the principles of the Merdeka curriculum, which focuses on developing the creativity, independence, and uniqueness of each child. The use of direct observation in anecdotal assessment also provides opportunities for educators to better understand the individual needs and interests of children. By analyzing children's activity anecdotes, educators can provide more accurate responses to their individual needs and interests, allowing for the development of appropriate learning strategies that support the holistic development of children.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and analyze students' relatively permanent attitudes or behavior from experience or training with Decimal Number material through the application of the demonstration method. This research method uses qualitative research with the type of Classroom Action Research. Primary data source for students and teachers in class IV A. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data triangulation, and data collection. The repairs were carried out in class IVA UPT SD Negeri 028 Kubang Jaya, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency with a total of 39 students consisting of 20 male students and 19 female students. The results of data findings using the analysis and problem formulation above show that the learning improvement program is carried out by teachers to improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics subject matter. The application of the demonstration method and the use of decimal number image media can improve student learning outcomes for Decimal Numbers in Mathematics subjects. Results achieved by students after applying the demonstration method. Changes in student learning outcomes after using the demonstration method.

Abstract

Numeracy problems at SD Negeri 4 Penarukan, Buleleng have decreased in geometry material. The results of ANBK that have been carried out show that numeracy literacy in several indicators such as basic concepts related to geometry and statistics, and solving simple routine math problems has decreased. This study aims to describe the results of a study of learning strategies with an Ethnomathematics approach to improve numeracy literacy in geometry material. The method used in this research is qualitative library research and field study by collecting several relevant articles that discuss the use of the Ethnomathematics approach in the learning process and adjusted to the results of literacy and numeracy of teachers in the field. The results of this study are in the form of a review of five relevant studies related to the ethnomathematics approach to improve numeracy literacy in geometry material and student numeracy literacy. The use of this Ethnomathematics approach should be a solution for schools to improve student learning outcomes and numeracy literacy skills.

Abstract

This research aims to instill the effectiveness of the storytelling method in increasing the religious values ​​of early childhood development in Aisyah PAUD, Pajar Tinggi Village, Pajar Bulan District, Lahat Regency. This research uses classroom action research methods. This research design uses the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart. This research was carried out in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The primary data source is Aisyah PAUD students consisting of 25 students, 12 boys and 13 girls. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses quantitative data analysis with descriptive statistics. The results of the research showed an increase in students' religious values, namely in cycle I it was 68% (Developing According to Expectations), then in cycle II it increased to 80% (Developing Very Well). This means an increase of 12%. Thus, the storytelling method has proven to be effective in increasing the religious values ​​of early childhood at Aisyah PAUD.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the efforts of counseling guidance management in improving student discipline at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darut Tauhid, Bunga Sari village, Sungai Raya sub-district with the first main problem, planning counseling guidance in improving student discipline. Second, implementing counseling guidance in improving student discipline and third, evaluation. counseling guidance in improving student discipline at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darut Tauhid, Mekar Sari Village, Sungai Raya District. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The main data sources in this research are counselor teachers, school principals and deputy head of student affairs as one of the active components in management efforts obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research show that first, the planning of the counseling guidance management effort, the preparation of administration must include all activities that will be carried out, such as the preparation of the counseling guidance work program, the preparation of the RPL, documents for home visit implementation activities, and determining the general pattern of the counseling guidance organization and the preparation of the organizational structure. Second, the planning that is made requires implementation by the counselor teacher in terms of guidance and counseling services, but the number of services implemented varies because the implementation of these service activities has adjusted to the needs of students at school. Third, the evaluation carried out by the counselor teacher is so that the aim of providing discipline can be achieved. achieved according to expectations and goals, it is hoped that students will be able to train, control, control themselves so that they are not influenced by things from outside, so that they always get used to implementing disciplined behavior.

Abstract

This study explores effective strategies in developing literacy and numeracy of grade V elementary school students in Indonesia. The research method uses a literature study that analyzes various articles, books, and reports related to government policies on strengthening literacy and numeracy. The data sources in this study come from scientific journals, reference books, research reports, and relevant government policy documents. The data collection technique involves searching literature through academic databases, digital libraries, and official government websites. Data analysis is carried out using the content analysis method, where the collected data is categorized and evaluated to identify key themes and effective strategies. The results showed that project-based teaching methods, thematic learning, and the use of educational technology can significantly improve students' literacy skills. In addition, problem-based learning methods, contextual learning, and the use of educational games and manipulative aids are effective in increasing student numeracy. Teacher training and professional development as well as government policy support such as the National Literacy Movement, School Literacy Movement, Minimum Competency Assessment, and Merdeka Belajar curriculum also play an important role in the success of these strategies. The excellence of this article lies in the comprehensive analysis and integration of various innovative teaching strategies, as well as the emphasis on ongoing policy support. In conclusion, continuous support from various parties is needed to ensure the improvement of the quality of student literacy and numeracy education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain information about the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and the challenges teachers face in implementing the curriculum. The place where this research was carried out was Aisyiah Bustanul Athfal IV Kindergarten, Jambi City as one of the Driving Schools. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection method in this research uses techniques, namely interviews, direct observation and document collection. The research results show that the Aisyiah Bustanul Athfal IV Kindergarten in Jambi City has successfully implemented the Independent Curriculum through three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. At the planning stage, the Principal collaborates with teachers to develop the Educational Unit Operational Curriculum (KOSP), Teaching Module, and Project Module for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how student development assessment and character education are implemented in the Independent Curriculum in Elementary Schools. The method used in this research is qualitative research with case studies in several elementary schools that use the independent curriculum in Central Ternate City District, Ternate City. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. The research results show that student development assessments focus more on individual progress and potential in the learning context. This approach also integrates character education in learning and assessment. Character education is not only through special subjects, but also in daily tasks and interactions at school. The Merdeka Curriculum in Elementary Schools applies a holistic approach to assessment that supports students' personal development. Thus, character education is an important part of this curriculum to help students develop positive values ​​and behavior in everyday life. The challenges that arise include the need for teacher training to integrate character education in learning and consistent assessment.

Abstract

The Teaching Campus is one of the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) programs which aims to help improve literacy, numeracy, technology adaptation and school administration. The presence of this campus teaching program provides opportunities for students throughout Indonesia to improve their soft skills and hard skills. The aim of this research is to determine the form of implementation of the teaching campus program, the obstacles faced and the impact of the teaching campus program on student literacy culture at SDN 36 Kota Tenate. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the data that has been taken, it shows that the implementation of the campus teaching program for class 4 at SDN 36 Tenate City is in the form of creating a School Literacy Movement (GLS) program, creating Reading Corner media, activating the library, pulling the lucky string, and a literacy map. The obstacles faced in implementing campus teaching programs include a lack of coordination between the central government and regions/schools as well as inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The impact of the implementation of the 4th generation campus teaching program on student literacy culture can be seen from the results of students' literacy ability tests using the MBKM portal which shows a change of 25.64% from 0-100%. So the programs implemented by teaching campus students can have an impact on students' literacy culture, even though it is small if measured from the specified range.
