Abstract

Cross-cultural mission services, especially for the laity, in this case, non-theological students and activists have not been fully understood properly and correctly. The Kairos course will equip participants with a new understanding and paradigm of Biblical cross-cultural missions, especially for neglected tribes. Providing the right understanding so that they are able to recognize their calling correctly to be able to take part in cross-cultural missionary service. Through the Kairos course it is hoped that the participants will actively participate with God's servants and the Congregational Pastor in outreach services for neglected tribes, be able to provide the right understanding and direction about cross-cultural missions, so that the mission program becomes effective in mobilizing the congregation to be actively involved. Lay people are able to become partners and co-workers of God's servants and assemblies or elders, especially in empowering evangelistic ministries with a wider but specific reach. The method used to provide an understanding of cross-cultural missions is through the Kairos Course activities which are carried out for five consecutive days in integrated material sessions.

Abstract

This activity was carried out to educate junior high school students, in this case, students of public junior high school 3 Marga, Gianyar Regency about proper social media management for students of SMPN 3 Marga in order to reduce hoaxes and bullying. In this activity, material was presented as well as examples of using social media for positive activities, especially how students of SMPN 3 Marga carried out self-actualization through social media and how they contributed to reducing hoaxes and bullying in their surroundings, especially in Pinge Village. Clan, Tabanan. Thus, students of SMPN 3 Marga can use social media to study through accounts that upload subject content, as well as utilize social media as a medium for self-actualization and focus on constructive online activities rather than activities that lead to bullying and hoaxes. Abstract

Elderly generally has an imbalance that is at risk of falling, it's related to joint stabilization and posture. Prodi Physiotherapy Team collaborated with the head of the Puskesmas of Kramat Jati and Camat Kramat Jati, East Jakarta conducted education to participants Forum Komunikasi Lansia Usia (FKLU). The purposed of the community service is the participant can practice physical exercises of treatment of balance disorders well and correctly. There are three stages in achieving the goal, namely the provision of education on balance, physical exercise prevention and self-management disorder imbalance training strategies, and simulation of assessment of the level of imbalances in 42 elderlies. Balance Strategy training includes three moves, namely strategic legs, strategic hips, and strategic steps. As a result of the evaluation, it was found that 93% of the participants could stand without a penetration, the balance of one leg was largely well balanced by the right leg, and at step movements the most balance was achieved when the right foot was in front. Beneficial Balance Strategy Training Increases the risk of falling on the elderly.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to provide understanding to MSMEs in the Cawang area regarding the application of economic digitalization to increase the productivity of MSMEs in the region, in particular providing an understanding of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). It is hoped that these MSMEs will accept payments from their customers through QRIS so that they do not rely on cash payments only. The approach taken is to provide education about the benefits of using QRIS and how to activate it. Regarding payment transactions that are often made, 70% stated that they received payments in cash, meaning that more than half of the participants had not received QRIS. Regarding QRIS, 55% of participants stated that they had heard of it, but 54% stated that they were unfamiliar with it or not at all familiar with it. 72% want to expand payment methods so that they don't only accept cash but also non-cash. 77% said they were interested in knowing more about QRIS, and 72% said they were interested in trying QRIS. After education, participants who are interested in receiving payments with QRIS are directed to activate. Keywords: education, QRIS, UMKM, digitalization.

Abstract

To support community service activity, a collaboration has been carried out with the Regional Government of the Mentawai Islands Regency and the Ugla Mentawai Simariuriu Foundation. This community service activity aims to build the community's economy in the Mentawai Islands Regency. The activity is carried out in the form of a Web Seminar (Webinar). The activity involved lecturers from various disciplines, as well as the UMKM National Secretariat, the Koperindag Office and the Mentawai Islands District Government. Activities are carried out in the form of seminars/webinar with the theme "Building Entrepreneurial Mentawai Communities." In accordance with the formulation of the problem that MSMEs need to anticipate with digital progress, especially Fintech developments, one of the materials that will be delivered to support this theme is "MSMEs, Financial Technology (Fintech) and Its Risks." This material is deemed necessary to be related to the development of the digital world that MSME actors need to know, especially in the Mentawai Islands area.

Abstract

Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Kristen Indonesia bervisi menjadi “Menjadi Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika yang bermutu, mandiri dan inovatif dalam melaksanakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia dan Asia berbasis media pembelajaran sederhana sesuai nilai-nilai Kristiani dan Pancasila pada tahun 2030”, melaksanakan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dalam bentuk “Pelatihan pembuatan e-modul berbasis SIGIL di SMA Yadika 9, Bekasi Barat, Jawa Barat”. Kegiatan idilakukan kepada guru-guru dalam dua hari, meliputi: 1) Pembukaan; 2) Pengantar dari narasumber dan instalasi software SIGIL; 3) Pelatihan pembuatan e-modul menggunakan SIGIL dan pembacaan e-modul menggunakan aplikasi Thorium; 4) Penugasan dan 5) Diskusi, tanya Jawab dan pengumpulan tugas. Respon peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah 87,5% puas pada aspek materi, 89,5% puas pada aspek narasumber, 81,3 % puas terhadap durasi kegiatan, 87,5% puas terhadap kinerja pelaksana PkM. Kegiatan ini merupakan pengabdian dan transfer ilmu pengetahuan, sebagai sarana peningkatan dan pengembangan kreatifitas guru dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Community Service activities carried out by the UKI Faculty of Engineering Architecture Study Program raised the theme Green Action 28 Socialization and Training on the Utilization of Fabric Waste as Interior Decoration Ornaments for Residential Homes on Harapan Island. This activity is a continuation of the previous Community Service Activities which aim to educate the public about the design and creation of mini gardens that can be used as additional open green spaces in residential homes. The method is by holding socialization and workshops that present resource persons who are experts in their fields so that participants receive education on how to design and make Fabric Waste Into Residential Interior Decoration Ornaments so that participants can independently do it in their homes and pass it on to neighbors and their families who have never participated in outreach and training. The process is that the participants practice directly with patchwork waste brought by each participant which can be created so that it becomes an element of interior decoration in a residence so that it is more aesthetic. Abstract

Architecture Study Program at Universitas Kristen Indonesia collaborated with Dekoruma and Postgraduate Program for Community Service Activities entitled Green Action 29 entitled Socialization and Training (Workshop) for Office Space Surgery RW 07 – RW 12 in Kebon Pala Village, East Jakarta City. This activity is also a continuation of the Community Service Activities that have been carried out in RW 01- RW 06 which also has the same goal, namely to provide insight and knowledge related to renovating office space, especially the RW office in the Kebon Pala Village which was conveyed by the resource persons. The method is to coordinate with the Village Head and his staff, making preparations until this activity is carried out. As a result, material related to office room renovations was well conveyed by the resource person and to increase the enthusiasm of the participants, a competition would be held so that it could also be known to what extent the participants understood the material presented. Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Kelurahan Kebon Pala yang dilaksanakan Program Studi Arsitektur dan Magister Arsitektur Universitas Kristen Indonesia terkait Lomba Bedah Ruang Kantor RW dilaksanakan di RW 07-12 Kelurahan Kebon Pala Kota Jakarta Timur yang sebelumnya telah dilaksanakan di RW 01-RW 06. Kegiatan Lomba bertujuan untuk mendorong para peserta untuk melakukan Bedah Ruang kantor RW untuk meningkatkan efektifitas, produktifitas dan kenyamanan kerja dalam pelayanan masyarakat di tingkat RW. Setiap RW diminta untuk melakukan bedah ruang kantor RW meliputi elemen ruang dalam dan ruang luar sesuai dengan kreatifitas dan kebutuhan ruang kantor RW. Meski dengan besaran ruang, kondisi keuangan, fungsi dan pengguna yang berbeda-beda, seluruh peserta lomba mengikuti kegiatan lomba dengan antusias dan berhasil melakukan perubahan, hal ini terlihat jelas waktu penilaian dilakukan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan baik dan diikuti oleh seluruh ketua RW sebagai peserta dari RW 07-12, dan dihadiri oleh Wakil Camat dan Lurah Kebon Pala beserta jajarannya.

Abstract

The useful value of objects that have been used up can be called trash. Decreasing the use value of objects can occur due to human activities, animal activities, and natural events. Waste if not managed with a good system can cause environmental problems. This environmental problem is currently happening in Pinge Tourism Village, Tabanan Regency. Pinge Tourism Village is developing into an international-standard tourist village, so education and planning are needed in waste management to solve ongoing environmental problems. Education and planning for the provision of Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Temporary Disposal Sites (TPS 3R) can be a solution in solving environmental problems in Pinge Village. Collecting data through interviews with village officials, direct observation in the village, and conducting literature studies to determine methods for determining solutions to environmental problems in Pinge Village. The results of the waste processing system with TPS 3R are such as recycling and compost waste, but the main goal of TPS 3R is to reduce waste piles and simplify the waste disposal process before going to the final disposal site. The design of TPS 3R in Pinge Village is adjusted to the standards and existing conditions of the land, so that it requires land with an area of 80 m2 with several rooms that have their respective functions so that they can support the operation and mechanism of waste segregation
