Abstract

Online health consultations via telemedicine, conducted through websites or digital platforms, have become a trend with the advancement of communication technology. However, data privacy is a major concern, especially when it involves patients' personal health information. This study analyzes the factors influencing public trust in telemedicine services. The aim is to examine the impact of economic, educational, environmental, usefulness, ease of use, and information quality factors on public trust in telemedicine. The research method involves path analysis using a quantitative approach, followed by qualitative analysis. The study involved 90 participants, with a 2:1 ratio between the user group and the control group. The results indicate a significant influence of economic status, education level, environment, system ease of use, and information quality on public trust in data privacy within telemedicine, with a total trust score reaching +0.545. These findings underscore the need for the public, as telemedicine users, to be more cautious about the security and confidentiality of their personal data. Abstract

In 2018, the Indonesian Ministry of Health conducted a survey revealing that the rate of deliveries via Caesarean Section (C-Section) had exceeded the WHO's maximum standard of 17.6%. At Aulia Hospital in Pekanbaru, the prevalence of C-Sections reached 76% per 1000 births, significantly higher than the international benchmark. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing delivery methods using the C4.5 algorithm. The research employs a quantitative analytic approach with Secondary Data Analysis (SDA). A dataset of 500 records with 11 variables was utilized, including maternal age, gestational age, hypertension, hemoglobin, glucose levels, delivery history, fetal position, Cephalopelvic Disproportion (CPD), premature rupture of membranes (PROM), oligohydramnios, and estimated fetal weight (EFW). The C4.5 algorithm demonstrated 92% accuracy in predicting delivery methods, with a precision of 75%, indicating its ability to correctly identify necessary C-Sections. Furthermore, it achieved a recall of 100%, reflecting its effectiveness in identifying all actual C-Section cases. The rule tree analysis highlighted delivery history as the primary determinant in selecting the delivery method. These findings are expected to support medical decision-making processes regarding delivery methods and improve the management of high C-Section rates.

Abstract

Data processing, particularly in the medical record coding section, is still conducted manually using Excel, which contains lists of disease and procedure codes for coding purposes. The main issues encountered include time-consuming processes and the generation of inaccurate codes that are too general and lack specificity. The aim of this study is to design a Clinical Coding Module for the SIM Klinik system at Clinic X in Malang Regency. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method with a case study approach. A total of five doctors participated as respondents, and data was collected through interviews and observations. The study results indicate that the key features required for the SIM Klinik clinical coding module include diagnosis coding, procedure coding, and generating reports on the most common diseases. Additionally, the system must support integration with other health information systems to facilitate seamless information flow between clinic units. The system design employs a Data Flow Diagram (DFD) and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) approach to illustrate clear data flows and the relationships between entities in the system, ensuring that all system components function cohesively and efficiently

Abstract

Issues related to BPJS Health insurance claims often pose challenges for healthcare facilities. The primary reasons for claim rejections typically involve administrative errors, such as incomplete documentation or incorrect diagnostic codes. This study aims to identify the factors contributing to the high rate of inpatient claim rejections at RSUD Majenang. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research analyzes data collected from in-depth interviews with hospital verification officers and coding officers. The findings reveal that inaccurate diagnostic coding and incomplete supporting documentation are the primary causes of claim rejections. Inaccurate diagnostic coding is attributed to several factors, including errors in diagnosis recording, discrepancies in perceptions between hospital verifiers and BPJS Health, and potential indications of diagnostic code misuse. Additionally, a lack of interdepartmental coordination and inadequate understanding of claim guidelines contribute to the problem. The findings of this study have significant implications for efforts to improve the quality of healthcare services and the efficiency of claim management in hospitals. To streamline BPJS Health claims, it is necessary to enhance the competency of staff, strengthen interdepartmental coordination, improve the quality of medical documentation, and conduct periodic evaluations of claim procedures.
