This study aims to explain the impact of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program initiated by PT Pertamina Geothermal Energi Tbk (PGE) Ulubelu Area through a social forestry approach on the Margo Rukun Bestari Social Forestry Business Group (KUPS) in Ulubelu District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province. This research uses a quantitative description method. This program prioritizes a circular interaction approach that includes profit and non-profit activities. The results showed that communities once involved in forest destruction activities are now transforming into proactive environmental conservationists. KUPS members, who are mostly former forest hunters, have succeeded in educating and inviting the surrounding community to be more aware of the importance of sustainable forest product management. The program has increased coffee farming productivity, improved degraded land, and increased community income. This initiative is a relevant model to be adapted in other regions with similar conditions.

This research was conducted in Kota Baru Village, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency in Riau Province with a focus on the implementation of family functions in a single area. In this study, the method used is qualitative descriptive, where data is collected through documentation and in-depth interviews. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that in the implementation of family functions, they (single fathers) can carry out these functions even though they are not optimal due to various obstacles they face. The obstacles they experience are obstacles in managing working time with time taking care of the household, multitasking obstacles where single fathers are somewhat minimal related to these skills, obstacles in skills in taking care of children, especially related to the needs of girls. From the results of this study, It can be concluded that in the implementation of family functions carried out by single fathers in Kota Baru Village, especially by five (5) subjects/informants with five (5) family functions, they are all carried out or carried out by each of them in a different way even though it is not optimal due to various existing obstacles. Except for the economic function which is one of the decisive aspects in carrying out other functions, although they carry it out, the way they carry it out depends on their economic conditions.

Abstract

This study analyzes stakeholder satisfaction towards village financial governance in Serang Regency. A quantitative approach was employed, involving a survey of 400 respondents from various villages selected purposively based on Article 16 of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration’s Regulation No. 21 of 2020. The data were collected using questionnaires with a Guttman scale. The research findings indicate that 59% of respondents are dissatisfied with village financial management, while 41% express satisfaction. The study highlights that public satisfaction towards financial governance is influenced by information transparency, participation in decision-making, program distribution, and direct benefits received. Male respondents report higher satisfaction than females due to more intensive involvement in village activities. Active participation enhances expectations and overall satisfaction among residents. However, disparities in benefit distribution of programs remain a challenge. To improve satisfaction, village governments must enhance transparency, increase community participation, and ensure a more equitable and impactful distribution of programs. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of improving village financial governance by strengthening transparency, fostering community engagement, ensuring fair program distribution, and enhancing community support to increase stakeholder satisfaction in financial management.

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises “Cahaya Samarinda” is one of the pioneers in the weaving industry development in Samarinda. The Cahaya Samarinda only did their marketing through words of mouth. The purpose of this study was to determine and identify the marketing strategies used by Cahaya Samarinda in Tenun Tourism Village. This study used the 4P marketing concept by Philip Kotler. The four elements, which were product, price, place, and promotion, were used as an analytical framework to identify how Cahaya Samarinda as an MSME managed its tenun fabric products, determined selling prices, carried out promotional activities, and chose distribution channels. This research is descriptive qualitative, with informants selected by using purposive sampling. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that Cahaya Samarinda had advantages in product quality at affordable prices. However, this MSME still had room to widen the market range through the use of social media and participation in exhibitions. Although the location of the store was not strategic, high-quality products and good service became the main attractions for customers.

Abstract

Community empowerment through micro-enterprise development can be an effective instrument in poverty alleviation. This study will review sustainable farming practice implementation and improved market access with regard to cattle farmers in Klungkung District, Bali, where there exists strong cultural affinity towards natural conservation. This research, using the theory of sustainable development, which links economic, social, and environmental variables, identifies those interventions that would enhance farmers' management capacity and improve market access. The approach adopted in the study is a qualitative one with a descriptive-analytical design, in which purposive sampling is done from 15 cattle farmers and 5 stakeholders who are involved in livestock management. The results showed marked improvements in health management of the livestock, business planning, and marketing strategies after the intervention. Besides, environmentally friendly agricultural practices, such as the use of organic waste as fertilizer, are also adopted. Marketing groups were formed where farmers could sell directly, thus minimizing dependence on intermediaries, enhancing bargaining power, and improving profit margins. The study has pointed out that the active participation of farmers and stakeholders is very crucial for the success of this empowerment program. Longitudinal studies should be conducted to further monitor the sustainability of the program regarding its long-term impact.
