Abstract

Microlearning is a short-term learning strategy that can increase students' interest in learning. It is in line with the characteristics of today's students who cannot focus on learning for long periods of time. The study was conducted at three senior high schools in Bogor, Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze microlearning in writing English learning materials for the tenth grader. This research employed a content analysis approach. The data sources are learning materials from two student books from two publishers that refer to Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar as well as additional learning materials developed by teachers such as PowerPoint slides, explainer videos, and infographics. Interviews with three English teachers were also conducted. The result of the study showed that the microlearning features in each unit are not entirely satisfied, although numerous media have been found in a short amount of time, there are still certain components that have not been addressed. The study suggested that to improve students' writing English learning experiences, book writers and teachers should emphasize microlearning aspects and critical thinking skills more in learning materials.

Abstract

This research reports on a legal study of trade secrets which are part of the Intellectual Property Rights system. Legal protection is given to trade secrets in order for trade secret right holders to be able to create a climate that encourages creation and innovation to advance Indonesian industry in order to compete in the scope of national and international business. A trade secret is information that the law considers to be a property. The classification of information as a trade secret must have economic value, be unknown to the public and kept confidential by the owner. There is a problem, namely the character of trade secrets that cannot be included in the system of property law in Indonesia, because the characteristics of trade secrets do not fulfill the elements of property rights and there is no single norm that regulates the registration of trade secret rights as property rights. Jeremy Bentham and Thomas Hobbes Theory of Legal Protection and Theory of Ownership are chosen as the analytical knife, that a trade secret is a legal right, namely a property right over an intangible movable property that arises due to a registration. The implication of this is that the trade secret law does not provide legal protection and legal certainty for the right holder.

Abstract

This research investigates the utilization of the NGL Link feature in Instagram Stories and its impact on the disclosure of personal information by micro-influencers. The study explores the experiences and privacy management strategies of Gen-Z micro-influencers. The study adopts a post-positivist paradigm and employs a case study approach to delve deeper into the research topic. Four micro-influencers meeting specific criteria were selected as informants for the study. Data collection techniques included interviews and data documentation. The informants shared their experiences, perspectives, and attitudes towards using the NGL Link feature. The findings reveal that the NGL Link feature enables micro-influencers to interact with their followers and share personal information, leading to increased engagement and deeper connections. However, concerns about privacy and the dissemination of personal information arise. The informants employ various filtering methods to protect their privacy, categorizing questions and selectively sharing responses. Dissemination of personal information by followers is observed, particularly among those who know the micro-influencer in real life. The study concludes that filtering serves as the primary privacy management strategy for micro-influencers using the NGL Link feature.

Abstract

Land registration since the enactment of the basic agrarian law has never produced significant results until the last few years. The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / National Land Agency often looks for ways to speed up land registration with the registration program proposed since 2016, namely the complete systematic land registration (PTSL). One of the important stages in the systematic registration of land is the application of the principle of delimitation contradiction. This study discusses the implementation of the principle of contradiction delimitation that has changed since the systematic land registry was implemented. This study aims to show how the effect of changes in the mechanism of implementation of the STs, especially in the implementation of the principle of contradiction delimitation. The research methods used in this work are normative legal research methods with a focus on positive legal norms as the main material. The results of this research is a change of the mechanism of implementation of the new PTSL resulted in changes in the implementation of the principle of contradiction delimitation. With the new PTSL implementation scheme, land registration is expected to be implemented with a relatively shorter period of time so that it will be more efficient. However, this change reduces the legal certainty of the regulation regarding the application of the principle of delimitation contradiction. The government in making policies is expected to always prioritize the importance of the legal basis for new policies before they are made.

Abstract

In essence, everyone who commits a crime will face legal consequences, even minors. Although restorative justice policies and procedures for juvenile offenders have been developed, they have not yet been fully put into practice. The truth is that not all police detectives at the regional sector level comprehend how to use restorative justice to resolve juvenile criminal cases. The purpose of this study is to comprehend and evaluate the paradigm of restorative justice for juvenile offenders from a utility theory standpoint. The difficulties in applying restorative justice to juvenile offenders at the police level are also examined in this study. This study is a normative, legal, descriptive, and analytical study. Secondary data were used in this study, and they were gathered by employing library research techniques. A qualitative method is used in data analysis. The study's findings demonstrate that applying restorative justice to kids who break the law is essentially protecting kids from the law itself, with the goal that kids will still be protected even when mistakes are made. The use of restorative justice is a type of legal benefit from the standpoint of legal advantages. The community benefits from the law that has been created by the government, including both those who are criminals and those who are among their victims. In other words, the law is not only created to punish, but also to protect, advance the law, and benefit society. Second, that barriers to the use of restorative justice can be divided into two categories: internal barriers arising from the juvenile offenders and external barriers in the form of community environmental barriers, family barriers, juvenile officer barriers, and juvenile mediator barriers.
