Abstract

One of the problems that hinder cooperatives from progressing and developing is the problem of human resources (HR). From the old management of the cooperative, the knowledge of cooperatives that is still lacking and the wrong business development makes the cooperative not develop even towards setbacks and failures. Until now one of the cooperative problems is still the same, namely the problem of human resources besides the cooperative has not fully implemented the cooperative principles completely and correctly. Many cooperatives run their business the same as general companies, seek high profits, offer high loan interest and there is no difference in application between cooperative members and non-members. So that the benefits of being a cooperative member are not felt by the members. Cooperative education is important not only for administrators but also for cooperative members. This is important to foster a love for cooperatives as business entities owned by members and the willingness to carry out transactions in cooperatives to fulfill their needs. Without the knowledge of cooperatives for members, members will think that transactions are the same between transactions in cooperatives and outside cooperatives. Even though the progress of cooperatives is very dependent on the participation of cooperative members. Cultivation of cooperative capital will be better and will have healthy finances if more sources come from cooperative members. For the management of business development, it is important to promote and develop cooperatives. But of course, the development of this business must be feasible and in accordance with the needs of members. So it is very important and necessary for education and training for administrators and members of cooperatives to become modern cooperatives.

Abstract

Cooperatives as one of the economic actors in Indonesia are required to be able to compete with other economic actors. Therefore, as a business entity, cooperatives need to obtain certainty and equal legal standing with other economic actors. In this case, the establishment and drawing up of a cooperative deed is carried out by a Notary, as with the establishment of other legal entities. TheDecree of the State Minister for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia Number 98 of 2004, confirms that a Notary is an official who has the authority to make deeds of establishment and other deeds related either directly or indirectly to cooperative organizational and business activities. To increase the effectiveness of increasing the competitiveness of cooperatives through the availability of legal standing’ Cooperatives are the same as other business actors, so the Notary who makes cooperative deeds needs to understand the characteristics of cooperative organizations as a socio-economic system and is also required to become a community economic movement. An understanding of the characteristics of the cooperative organization is used as the basis or basis for notaries to make the deed of establishment of cooperatives, however, when making the deed of establishment of cooperatives or other deeds related to cooperatives, the deed maker must have a good understanding of cooperatives because the deed made will have legal force and must be legally accountable. For this reason, a cooperative socialization program was implemented for Notaries who make Cooperative Deeds.

Abstract

Cooperatives as business entities need to provide information on financial conditions that can disclose financial information to all stakeholders, namely by preparing financial reports in accordance with standards that can be accepted by all parties, or the general public. The financial statements of cooperatives reveal the financial conditions of cooperatives, but to measure whetherthe financial condition of cooperatives is good or not, a measurement (analysis) of the financial statements must be carried out. By conducting an analysis of financial reports, cooperatives can take action (action) that is appropriate to anticipate alternative solutions to financial problems that must be carried out by cooperatives in an appropriate manner. Technical guidance on the preparation of financial reports and analysis of financial reports was held by the West Java Province Cooperative Service with 30 participants representing cooperatives in West Java on July 27, 2022. The purpose of this technical guidance activity is to achieve the expected results, namely increasing the competency of cooperative management resources in preparing financial statements
