Abstract

This research aims to analyze the accounting treatment of defective products at UD Batu Permai Junior, Gambiran Banyuwangi District. This research is a type of descriptive research combined with quantitative research. The data collection method used to determine the accounting treatment of defective brick products and determine the cost of production at UD Batu Permai Junior uses interview, observation and document methods. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. The results of the research show that the treatment of defective products at UD Batu Permai Junior, Gambiran Banyuwangi District, is selling defective products that are still salable. Proceeds from sales of defective products are recognized as other income, without reducing overall production costs. Having defective products that are still sold reduces the losses experienced by the company. The average number of defective products in December 2023 is approximately 5%. The income received by UD Batu Permai Junior experienced a decrease due to the presence of defective products, if there where no defective brick products then the income obtained would be IDR. 129,521,000. After there is a defective product, the income obtained is IDR. 125,815,000, so there is a difference of Rp. 3,706,000, wich causes the company not to obtain optimal profits.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of the activity based costing method in determining the production costs of Gajah Oling Batik at UD Batik Tatsaka, Banyuwangi Regency. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection methods used are interview and documentation methods. The data analysis used in this research is quantitative descriptive data analysis. The research results show that there is a difference in costs resulting from calculating production costs using traditional methods and activity based costing methods, namely IDR 5,469 for written batik and IDR 444 for stamped batik. This difference in calculations occurs due to differences in several factory overhead costs. This calculation experienced undercosting because the production costs calculated by the company were too low compared to the actual calculation using the activity based costing method. Comparison of the results of calculating the cost of production using these two methods produces greater calculations for all products produced, both written batik and stamped batik at UD Batik Tatsaka. The calculations charged by UD Batik Tatsaka can be said to be subject to cost distortion. The resulting cost distortion is undercosting. This calculation experienced undercosting because the cost of goods produced was too low compared to the results of calculations using the activity based costing method. Calculation of the cost of production using the activity based costing method can show the actual costs incurred at UD Batik Tatsaka. The results obtained from calculating actual production costs are more precise and accurate compared to the calculation results charged by UD Batik Tatsaka. So it can be said that calculating actual costs using the activity based costing method is more suitable because this method can allocate all cost calculations used in production activities more precisely by looking at the consumption of each product.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran literasi keuangan dalam mengatasi perilaku ekonomi irrasional di Indonesia melalui tinjauan literatur. Literasi keuangan yang baik memungkinkan individu untuk memahami dan menerapkan informasi keuangan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga dapat membuat keputusan finansial yang lebih bijak dan rasional. Meskipun tingkat literasi keuangan di Indonesia masih rendah, berbagai intervensi seperti edukasi keuangan formal, kampanye publik, dan pelatihan keuangan menunjukkan hasil yang positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman keuangan masyarakat. Faktor-faktor seperti pendidikan formal, akses informasi, dan budaya sosial mempengaruhi literasi keuangan. Tantangan utama meliputi akses yang tidak merata terhadap pendidikan dan informasi keuangan, serta budaya konsumtif yang kuat. Rekomendasi kebijakan mencakup penguatan kurikulum edukasi keuangan, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, kampanye publik yang intensif, dan kolaborasi antara pemerintah dan lembaga keuangan. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan khusus di berbagai kelompok masyarakat dan daerah. Implementasi kebijakan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan literasi keuangan di Indonesia, mengurangi perilaku ekonomi irrasional, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan finansial masyarakat.

Abstract

Pengangguran merupakan salah satu masalah serius di Indonesia yang sulit diatasi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk yang tinggi, sementara peningkatan lapangan kerja tidak sejalan. Di sisi lain, perusahaan semakin selektif dalam merekrut karyawan baru, sedangkan minat generasi muda Indonesia untuk berwirausaha masih tergolong rendah. Dalam situasi ini, dunia pendidikan memegang peran penting dalam mendorong minat berwirausaha di kalangan generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Program Studi Sastra Inggris Universitas Pamulang, khususnya yang mengambil mata kuliah Kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi informasi tertulis dan lisan dari para informan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini melibatkan 27 responden, terdiri atas 2 dosen Kewirausahaan dan 25 mahasiswa Program Studi Sastra Inggris kelas Reguler A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya meningkatkan minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Sastra Inggris Universitas Pamulang dapat dilakukan melalui perkuliahan Kewirausahaan yang terstruktur, program magang kewirausahaan, serta inisiatif kreatif mahasiswa, selain itu juga menunjukkan bahwa mata kuliah Kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan. Hal ini dicapai melalui penanaman pengetahuan dan minat berwirausaha, pengembangan kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan, serta peningkatan motivasi untuk menjadi wirausahawan.

Abstract

Setiap warga negara Indonesia berhak memperoleh pendidikan yang berkualitas. Salah satu faktor yang menjadi hambatan seseorang tidak dapat mengakses pendidikan adalah kemiskinan. Untuk mewujudkan pemerataan pendidikan. pemerintah memberikan beasiswa kepada siswa dari keluarga kurang mampu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: tingkat prestasi belajar siswa penerima beasiswa dan non penerima beasiswa PIP dan perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa penerima beasiswa dengan non beasiswa PIP pada jurusan Akuntansi SMK Negeri 09 Semarang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan populasi 216 siswa kelas XI dan XII, dan sampel 35 siswa penerima beasiswa dan 45 siswa non bea siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode dokumentasi dan wawancara. Data terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: tingkat prestasi belajar siswa penerima beasiswa 74,3% berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Tingkat prestasi belajar siswa non penerima beasiswa 93,3% berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh koeffisien T= -3,459 dengan nilai signifkansi 0,001 < 0,05 artinya: terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa penerima beasiswa dan non penerima beasiswa pada Jurusan Akuntansi SMK Negeri 09 Semarang.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the perceptions of the 2nd batch of Independent Student Exchange (PMM) participants regarding the implementation of PMM MBKM; as well as the obstacles and solutions faced by PMM class 2 participants. This type of research uses descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted with 9 informants consisting of participants and Ivet University officials. The data analysis technique uses triangulation from the results of interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. The research results showed that: 1. In the preparation and introduction phase of the program, participants found out through digital media and understood the definition and concept of the program well, participants thought that the socialization stage was not optimal; 2. Recruitment phase, participants think that the preparation of files and use of the application is done well and is easy to do; 3. Implementation phase, a. The student's academic learning process is carried out in a hybrid manner by following academic rules assisted by the PIC, discussing with the Head of Study Program in taking courses, taking courses online at the Home University due to differences in credit weights, the main assessment system is attendance, the student quota for each course is fulfilled as much as 25-30 students, b. Nusantara Module activities are carried out by visiting regional tourist locations, inspirational activities presenting community leaders, reflection activities making video projects and writing impressions and messages, social contribution activities by helping local communities in solving problems; 4. Follow-up phase, participants do not fully know the conversion process, participants' perceptions are good and they recommend the program to other students. Obstacles and solutions for implementing PMM 2, namely socialization which will change the pattern and conversion flow, will be addressed with the Chancellor's Decree and looking for alternative solutions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how students of the Regular B class in the English Literature Study Program at Universitas Pamulang utilize their English language skills as capital in entrepreneurial activities. The background of this research stems from the growing reality that in today’s digital and global era, English is not only a tool for academic communication but also a strategic asset in building service-based businesses. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, questionnaires, and interviews with 15 students actively involved in entrepreneurship. The findings reveal that students use their English proficiency in various types of businesses such as private tutoring, translation services, content writing, and freelance work on digital platforms. These ventures are characterized by time flexibility, minimal capital requirements, and the potential to reach global markets. However, students also face challenges, including time constraints, lack of business training, and low confidence when dealing with international clients. The study concludes that English language competence is a valuable asset that can be developed into entrepreneurial capital, especially when supported by a campus environment that integrates academic skills with practical entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Al Asror organizes learning for regular class programs and tahfidz classes. Tahfidz class students are required to stay at the Islamic boarding school and participate in all activities at the Islamic boarding school, while regular class students are allowed to participate in learning at the Islamic boarding school but are not required to live at the Islamic boarding school. This research was conducted at MA Al Asror Semarang, aimed to find out (1) The learning outcomes of economic subjects of class 11 IPS 1 students of tahfidz class; (2) The learning outcomes of economic subjects of class 11 IPS 2 students of regular class; (3) Whether or not there is a difference in learning outcomes of economic subjects between class 11 IPS 1 students of tahfidz class and class 11 IPS 2 students of regular class. This study uses a quantitative approach with a comparative method. The population of the study was 46 students of grade 11 IPS, consisting of 17 students of the tahfidz class and 29 students of the regular class. Data collection techniques using documentation and interview methods. Data analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test technique for hypothesis testing. The results of the study showed: 1) The average learning outcomes of students in the tahfidz class were 85.74, in the high category. 2) The average learning outcomes of students in the regular class were 85.38, included in the high criteria; (3) The results of the Independent Sample T-Test obtained a coefficient of t = 0.393, a significant value (2-Tailed) of 0.697 > 0.05, so Ha was rejected, Ho was accepted, meaning: there was no difference in learning outcomes of students in the tahfidz class and students in the regular class.
