Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain initial information about the perception and knowledge of IT Literacy as well as a profile of the basic knowledge of elementary and MI teachers throughout Ternate about IT literacy. This study uses a survey research method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used was by distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews on a predetermined sample of 25 schools and madrasah with a sample of teachers who were determined randomly. The data is calculated based on the number of checklists filled in by the respondents, then a percentage is used to determine the level of perception of each teacher. The results showed that the highest ability of teachers to operate Microsoft Office was in elementary schools located in the central and northern areas of Ternate City, which were 58% and 50% respectively. Meanwhile, the average IT support skills for elementary school teachers have not met the standard, which is <50%. The basic literacy ability of IT teachers is also relatively low, at 56%. The researcher's recommendation is that it is necessary to conduct IT training for elementary school teachers in 4 sub-districts of the city of Ternate, and continuous assistance so that the learning process becomes quality and student learning outcomes are further improved

Abstract

Contextual approach in the teacher's learning process can apply the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach where the school environment can be used by teachers to help students understand concepts that are directly in the environment which makes it easier for teachers to explain the concepts studied with students even though it requires good cooperation between students. teachers and students. SMA Negeri 2 Tidore Islands City is an environmentally oriented school in fact teachers have not taken advantage of the school's vision well, one of which is implementing environment-based learning with the right learning approach where teachers still rely on conventional methods (lectures) that lead to teacher-centered learning processes are only carried out In the classroom, innovation in learning is needed by applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. This research is a correlation type with a quasi-experimental approach carried out by SMA Negeri 2 Kota Tidore Kepulauan. The results showed that the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach had an effect on student learning outcomes as indicated by the results of Anova analysis at a significance value of 0.010 ≤ 0.05 or sig ≤ 0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and determine the improvement of metacognitive ability and Self Efficacy of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Ternate City in science subjects. This type of research uses an experimental method, namely research that is used to see a treatment and compare it. The results of this research show that metacognition in experimental class students has increased by an average of 71.75%, while metacognition in the control class is 55.65 then the Self Efficacy of experimental class students has increased by 63.12% while Self Efficacy in the control class is 60 ,28% This shows that the metacognition and Self Efficacy of the experimental class students is higher than the students' metacognition and Self Efficacy. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of Discovery Learning on students' metacognitive abilities and Self Efficacy. In addition, the results of this study also show that there is a significant relationship between metacognitive ability and Self Efficacy if given the Discovery Learnin treatment.

Abstract

The learning model is defined as a systematic procedure in organizing learning experiences to achieve learning objectives. So, actually the learning approach has the same meaning as the learning approach or strategy. Currently, various kinds of learning approaches have been developed, from simple to complex and complicated because they require many tools in their application. The approach in the learning process is a method or technique of presenting material used by educators in the learning process to achieve the expected learning objectives. The cooperative learning model is also a learning model which in the organizational strategy uses small study groups where students or students work together for the success of the learning objectives. Cooperative learning is a model in which students learn together, share their thoughts and are responsible for achieving individual and group learning outcomes. JAS learning is a strategy in learning that prioritizes land around the school or other learning resources outside of school so that it allows students to learn directly from the environment. natural phenomena based on his own observations. In this case the teacher must be observant in choosing the appropriate subject matter. The population in this study includes all students of class VII MTs. Alfarabi Wasilei Selatan, East Halmahera Regency with a total of 42 students consisting of 2 classes. The assumption in this study uses the RAL assumption where all initial treatments are considered the same, there is no difference so that the results obtained are absolute because of the influence of the treatment. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the JAS model on student learning outcomes at Mts. Alfarabi Wasilei Selatan, East Halmahera Regency, where based on the results of the ANOVA posttest, a significance value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05 or sig ≤ 0.05 was obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a circuit training model based on volleyball techniques in extracurricular activities at the age of 13-15 years. The subjects of this study were extracurricular volleyball students at SMPN 1 Cariu. The sample in this study amounted to 10 people using random sampling. By using the questionnaire method and field trials. In conducting preliminary research, the highest score was 100 with a total of 10 items presented and expert validation with the highest score of 92 with 10 items presented. The results of this development research indicate that the development of the technique-based circuit exercise model received a good response from validators and expert practitioners, the development of the technique-based circuit training model in Kembangan into 6 posts which are used for children aged 13-15 years. This development research was tested at SMPN 1 Cariu, Bogor Regency by being witnessed by expert validators and at the same time assessing the course of the trial, and it can be concluded from the research that has been carried out on the development of a circuit training model based on volleyball game techniques in extracurricular activities at the age of 13- 15 years) is suitable for use in volleyball extracurricular exercises in junior high school (SMP).

Abstract

Developments in manufacturing technology companies are currently growing rapidly, especially industries with large-scale production in a very short time. By using a computer, it can create a system where the production process can be carried out quickly and with quality. This technology is embedded in machine tools that are usually used for mass production, namely CNC (Computer Numeric Control). In addition, using a CNC machine is more efficient than conventional machines because it can save time, be more accurate, flexible and efficient. Therefore, many companies are using this CNC machine in the modern era [3]. One of the companies engaged in this machining is PT. XYZ, where one of its products is produced using a CNC machine, namely the manufacture of a jig magazine. After analyzing the jig magazine manufacture on the CNC – 450 machine, the Jig and Fixture Design that was made can be used as a tool. As well as in the production of making Jig Magazine products, Jig and Fixture designs can provide a decrease in total time, product manufacture, product quality improvement, productivity improvement and cost savings, Feeding speed in the initial process is 1000 mm/min, The slope of the Support bar guide is 3, 18o, The obtained gripping force is 2304.03N

Abstract

This study aims to examine, analiyze, and understand the application of the character of discipline for students through the role of the cadet police extracurricular. This research use a qualitative approach with a case study method. The location of the research was carried out at SMK Taruna Nusantara Jaya, Cisomang village. The data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the research are as follows: 1) The disciplinary conditions of student have developed better, but there ara still some student who commit disciplinary actions (mild) including being indiscipline when entering school, long hair and not carrying attributes. 2) studens’ views on the police cadet extracurricular that it is a good extracurricular especially in terms of emphasizing discipline, including time discipline and responsibility. 3) the role extracurricukar POLTAR on student discipline is to carry out disciplinary implementation activities including supervising, recording, warning, giving direction, and taking action according to instructions from the coach and student

Abstract

Many people who buy a car don't know how to take care of their car properly. Many of us encounter cases of car accidents or damage due to the owners not knowing how to take care of their car, resulting in an accident or damage due to technical problems with their car. One example of this case is the timing belt break. The timing belt itself has a different role from the Vanbelt, because the components that are moved by the timing belt are directly related to the distribution system, input, and fuel combustion by the piston in the combustion chamber. The conclusion of this research is the use of a timing belt type H with a maximum tension of 14.9 N which can also be estimated that the age of the Timing Belt is 721000 Working Hours before it can be replaced with a new one.

Abstract

Intense competition in the industry, especially in the automotive world, is bound to make vehicles better and easier for vehicle users. This includes using the brakes on two-wheeled vehicles. From the calculation results of the front disc brake of the motorcycle Yamaha Vega RR 2014, it can be concluded that several large forces are transmitted for each braking operation, namely from the piston force (Fpiston) = 31.81 Kgf, the force on the piston pressure canvas (F) = 203.66 Kgf (2 canvases) and Braking Force (????????) = 69.71 Kgf. Therefore, the final result of the life calculation for the Yamaha Vega RR 2014 disc brake pads is 800 hours. Assuming that the vehicle is used for an average of 3 hours a day, the service life of disc brake pads can reach 8.8 months.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the percentage of HCL on the rate of corrosion. corrosion, to determine the effect of variations in current strength on the hardness value and microstructure of ST 60 steel. This study used an experimental method including the preparation of tools and materials, specimen making, welding process and corrosion rate testing, micro hardness vicker hardness. Then the highest corrosion rate value was obtained. of 3.6873996123 mm/year. The highest hardness value is at a current of 140 A in the weld metal area with a hardness value of 242.3 HV and the lowest hardness value is at a current of 120 A in the base metal area of ​​169.5 HV. The conclusion in this study is that the higher the current, the lower the corrosion rate will be inversely proportional to the hardness value, where the higher the amperage, the harder the hardness value
