Abstract

This research aims to integrate Ngasa tradition as local wisdom in strengthening student character in elementary schools. Ngasa tradition, which is rich with cultural values such as mutual cooperation, environmental awareness, and spirituality, has high relevance to shape the character of the younger generation in accordance with the nation's culture. The approach used was qualitative research with explorative descriptive method. The research subjects included teachers, students, school principals, and traditional leaders involved in the implementation of the Ngasa tradition. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed thematically using the Juran Framework Analysis. The results show that Ngasa tradition can be implemented in learning through various culture-based activities, such as discussion of traditional values, group projects, and direct engagement with indigenous communities. This integration not only improves students' understanding of moral and social values, but also strengthens students' character in terms of responsibility, cooperation, and respect for local culture. This research makes an important contribution to the development of local wisdom-based learning models that are relevant to the needs of modern education, while supporting the preservation of traditional culture in Indonesia..

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of early stimulation in enhancing gross and fine motor development in early childhood. Motor development is a fundamental aspect of child growth, directly influencing physical coordination, cognitive performance, and future learning readiness. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this research was conducted in a group of early childhood education institutions (PAUD) using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. The findings reveal that children who receive consistent, contextual, and playful stimulation show significantly more advanced motor skills compared to those who do not. Effective stimulation includes activities such as drawing, threading beads, running, and role-playing, all of which engage children in meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences. Moreover, the involvement of educators and parents in the stimulation process significantly enhances its impact, reinforcing the importance of a collaborative approach between home and school environments. This study reinforces previous theories by Papalia and Feldman (2011) and Hurlock (2003) and contributes new insights by highlighting the value of interactive and contextual stimulation. The results suggest that early stimulation should be an integral component of early childhood education programs and supported by structured planning and continuous evaluation. This research offers practical recommendations for educators and policymakers aiming to foster optimal motor development in young children..

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of PAKABE (KPK and FPB Boards) as a teaching aid in enhancing elementary students' understanding of mathematical concepts, particularly the Least Common Multiple (LCM) and Greatest Common Factor (GCF). Employing a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, the research involved Grade V students from SD Negeri Gunungtajem. The experimental group received instruction using PAKABE integrated with a Project-Based Learning (PJBL) approach, while the control group was taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through written tests, observation sheets, student response questionnaires, and documentation. Results indicated a significant improvement in the experimental group's learning outcomes, with the number of students meeting the Achievement Level Completeness Criteria (KKTP) increasing from 6 to 14. Students also responded positively to the use of PAKABE, demonstrating increased motivation and engagement. These findings highlight the potential of contextual and interactive teaching aids to improve conceptual understanding and student participation in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Natural Science (IPA) learning in Elementary Schools plays an important role in building the foundation of scientific thinking and students' science process skills. However, conventional and teacher-centered learning practices often hinder students' conceptual understanding and learning independence. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Discovery Learning model on conceptual understanding and learning independence in science learning in Elementary Schools. The method used is a systematic literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach to a number of relevant scientific articles. The results of the study show that Discovery Learning is consistently able to improve conceptual understanding through exploration, observation, and conclusion activities, and encourage learning independence through active student involvement in the learning process. This model also supports the development of critical, creative, collaborative, and communicative (4C) thinking skills. Despite implementation challenges, such as time constraints and teacher readiness, Discovery Learning remains an effective and relevant approach to be applied in science learning in the Merdeka Curriculum era. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions in efforts to improve the quality of active, meaningful, and student-centered science learning.

Abstract

State Administrators' Wealth Report (LHKPN) is an obligation for State Administrators as an effort to prevent the occurrence of Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism (KKN) practices. However, there is a weakness in the regulation of sanctions in the regulations related to LHKPN because there are no criminal sanctions that can be imposed for reporting assets incorrectly. This causes the emergence of criminal acts, namely fraud and falsification in reporting. Therefore, criminal sanctions are needed to threaten State Administrators not to falsify their wealth reporting in the LHKPN. The aim of this research is first to describe the urgency of imposing criminal sanctions on State Administrators who report assets incorrectly. Second, formulate arrangements for criminal sanctions in the future for State Officials who report assets incorrectly The type of research used is normative legal research using library materials as data and reference sources. This research requires secondary data consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The data collection technique used by researchers is literature study. This research uses a qualitative analysis method by interpreting legal materials. In drawing conclusions, researchers use a deductive method, namely drawing conclusions from general statements or propositions to specific statements or propositions. From the results of the discussion and research carried out, it can be concluded that, Firstly, the urgency of imposing criminal sanctions on State Administrators who report assets incorrectly is because Law Number 28 of 1999 only regulates administrative sanctions for those who do not comply with reporting LHKPN, preventing the emergence of criminal acts in LHKPN , as well as creating fear and preventing State Administrators from reporting assets incorrectly. Second, the formula for regulating criminal sanctions against State Officials who report assets incorrectly in the future is criminal sanctions in the form of fines and additional criminal sanctions in the form of confiscation of assets that are not officially reported in the LHKPN.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of game-based learning through the kahoot platform on the English vocabulary proficiency of first-year students enrolled in the English study program at Tribuana university of Kalabahi. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design featuring a single group with pre-tests and post-tests, the study include 22 students from the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection methods comprised vocabulary tests, questionnaires, classroom observations, and semi-structures interviews. The findings indicated a statistically significant enhancement in students’ vocabulary scores following the kahoot-based intervention (p < 0.001), with the average score increasing by 4 points. Insights from the the questionnaires and interviews highlighted elevated levels of student motivation, enjoyment, and engagement. Students expressed that kahoot’s interactive elements, including real-time feedback and gamified quizzes, enriched their learning experience and facilitated more effective vocabulary acquisition. Observations also revealed heightened participation and collaboration during the learning sessions. Despite encountering minor issues such as internet connectivity, these challenges did not substantially impede the learning process. It can be said that kahoot serves as an effective digital learning resource for improving vocabulary mastery while promoting a more dynamic, inclusive, and student-centered learning atmosphere. These results imply that incorporating gamified learning platforms can be a beneficial approach in English language instruction, especially with higher education settings taht cater to diverse learner needs.

Abstract

The public service is the main instrument in the realization of a democratic, just, and pro-community government. The Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia as an institution in charge of religious services and religious education has a strategic role in providing responsive and inclusive services. This article aims to examine the implementation of public services within the Ministry of Religious Affairs using a descriptive qualitative approach supported by a study of the theory of the New Public Service, the principles of good governance, and the theory of social justice. The findings show that the Ministry of Religious Affairs has implemented various innovations, such as digitalization of services, strengthening of information systems, and increasing service accountability. However, challenges still exist, especially related to the access gap in remote areas and digital literacy of the apparatus. Therefore, a continued commitment is needed to strengthen public service management that focuses on the needs of a pluralistic and diverse society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kinerja keuangan PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk setelah restrukturisasi utang, menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan data sekunder periode 2022-2023. Studi ini berfokus pada metrik kinerja keuangan seperti rasio Likuiditas, Solvensi, Aktivitas, dan Profitabilitas. Analisis rasio digunakan sebagai metode analisis teknis untuk mengevaluasi kinerja keuangan. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan, pasca restrukturisasi, kinerja keuangan PT Garuda Indonesia pada 2022-2023 tetap tidak stabil. Meskipun ada perbaikan pada tahun 2023, terutama dalam manajemen kerugian, perusahaan harus memprioritaskan mengatasi tantangan utama seperti manajemen likuiditas, mengurangi ketergantungan utang, dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional untuk memastikan keberlanjutan bisnis di masa depan.

Abstract

This research compares the impact of the Women's March in the United States and Indonesia on public policy in the political dimension. A qualitative approach is used to analyze its success in influencing policy. The Women's March was born as a response to issues of discrimination and gender inequality. In the US it focuses on the Trump administration, while in Indonesia it raises the issue of gender inequality and violence against women. The research method involved a review of literature in both countries. In the US, the Women's March had a major impact in increasing women's public awareness and political participation. In Indonesia, he played a role in ratifying the Migrant Worker Protection Law and the Sexual Violence Elimination Bill. Influencing policy changes and increasing public awareness of women's issues is proof of its success

Abstract

Advertisement is an important element in the world of marketing that has a strategic role in influencing consumer behavior and creating awareness of a product. Advertisements not only play a role as a means of promotion, but also as a medium to influence consumer behavior and create an image of a product. Early in 2024, one of the largest mineral water products in Indonesia released its latest advertisement with the tagline "AQUA 100% MURNI, 100% INDONESIA". This latest version of the Aqua advertisement has its own uniqueness, namely by featuring an advertising star who is not like the usual advertisement featuring a famous public figure, but Aqua features one of its employees, this makes the current version of the Aqua advertisement interesting because it is different from previous Aqua advertisements. This study aims to analyze the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth contained in this latest version of the Aqua advertisement. This study uses a qualitative research method with Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis technique.
