Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media permainan papan “Career Rocket” sebagai sarana layanan bimbingan karier guna meningkatkan pemahaman karir siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya pemahaman karier sebagian siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 18 Kota Serang, yang berdampak pada kebingungan menentukan arah studi lanjutan dan pilihan profesi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 siswa kelas IX yang memiliki tingkat pemahaman karier rendah berdasarkan hasil angket pendahuluan. Prosedur penelitian mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan produk, uji validasi ahli (materi, media, bahasa, dan praktisi), revisi, serta uji coba terbatas. Hasil validasi menunjukkan media Career Rocket memperoleh rata-rata kelayakan 85,94% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Uji coba terbatas menggunakan analisis Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat peningkatan signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test. Dengan demikian, media permainan Career Rocket efektif digunakan sebagai inovasi layanan bimbingan karier yang menarik, interaktif, dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman karir siswa SMP, terutama dalam aspek perencanaan, eksplorasi, dan pengenalan dunia kerja.

Abstract

This study explores how presuppositions are triggered in Selena Gomez’s interview at signal 2023 has been uploaded on YouTube, focusing on how these implicit meanings contribute to the motivational and emotional tone of her responses. The research applies Yule’s (1996) theory of presupposition, which classifies six types of triggers: existential, factive, lexical, structural, non-factive, and counterfactual. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected from the verified transcript of the interview. The analysis identified 15 presuppositions, with existential and factive types occurring most frequently. These dominant types reveal how Gomez uses personal experiences, emotions, and reflections to convey sincerity and inspire her audience implicitly. The findings indicate that presupposition functions not only as a pragmatic device but also as a rhetorical strategy that strengthens authenticity and engagement in natural conversation. Thus, this study affirms that presuppositions play a vital role in constructing meaning and emotional connection within real-life interviews.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of employer branding and job satisfaction on employee retention at PT. Sinar Galesong Pratama. The study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 respondents who are employees of PT. Sinar Galesong Pratama. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the effect of the independent variables (employer branding and job satisfaction) on the dependent variable (employee retention). The results show that, partially, employer branding and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee retention at PT. Sinar Galesong Pratama. Furthermore, simultaneously, employer branding and job satisfaction also have a significant effect on employee retention at PT. Sinar Galesong Pratama.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the construction of gender education for children in families with two working parents in Makassar City. The background of this study is based on the increasing participation of both parents in the workforce, which is not always followed by changes in equal parenting practices. This study focuses on the division of parenting roles, the process of socialization of gender values, and children's responses to gender education in the family. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, involving 10 families with two working parents as informants who were selected purposively. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, which were then analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the division of parenting roles is still dominated by mothers, while fathers tend to play a supporting role. The socialization of gender values ​​occurs implicitly through daily practices and still shows ambivalence between traditional and modern values. Meanwhile, children show an active response, not only imitating but also interpreting and questioning accepted gender values. The conclusion of this study confirms that families with two breadwinners have not yet fully created egalitarian relationships, but have the potential to become a space for the transformation of gender values. Therefore, more reflective awareness and better parenting practices are needed to promote gender equality education from an early age.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi tubuh perempuan sebagai arena kuasa dalam relasi gender pada film Pangku, mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk dominasi patriarki yang bekerja melalui tubuh perempuan, serta mengungkap bentuk negosiasi tokoh perempuan terhadap tekanan sosial dan ekonomi yang dihadapinya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih kuatnya praktik subordinasi dan objektifikasi perempuan dalam budaya patriarki yang direpresentasikan melalui media film. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi dan dokumentasi terhadap adegan, dialog, serta unsur visual dalam film Pangku. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perspektif feminisme dan teori kuasa Michel Foucault untuk memahami relasi kuasa terhadap tubuh perempuan dalam film. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tubuh perempuan dalam film Pangku direpresentasikan sebagai objek sosial, ekonomi, dan simbolik yang dikendalikan oleh sistem patriarki melalui praktik objektifikasi, male gaze, kontrol moral, dan tekanan ekonomi. Selain itu, tokoh perempuan juga melakukan berbagai bentuk negosiasi dan resistensi terhadap dominasi patriarki melalui strategi bertahan hidup, pengelolaan identitas diri, serta upaya mempertahankan otonomi tubuhnya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa film Pangku tidak hanya merepresentasikan perempuan sebagai korban dominasi patriarki, tetapi juga sebagai subjek yang memiliki kemampuan untuk bertahan dan melakukan resistensi terhadap relasi kuasa yang menindas.

Abstract

Critical discourse analysis is an interdisciplinary approach that examines the relationship between language, text, and social context. Advertisements can be used to convey information, influence audiences, and promote products and services. This research is explained using Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) which uses Norman Fairclough's theory that views discourse/text (advertising) as consisting of text, discourse practices, and sociocultural practices. The research method used is qualitative. The purpose of this research is to find the ideology and goals to be conveyed by the advertiser through the language used. Norman Fairclough divides discourse analysis into three dimensions: text analysis, discussion practices, and sociocultural practices. In his model, the text is explained by looking at the structure of the text, such as understanding, sentences, and semantics. In addition, Fairclough's model analysis also pays attention to cohesiveness and coherence, namely the way words or sentences connect with each other to form meaning. Based on this research, it can be seen that the Pucuk Harum tea advertisement uses intelligent language and narrative to spread that the Pucuk Harum tea advertisement uses language understood by the community to spread certain ideologies and goals to the audience. Through a mature production strategy, the Pucuk Harum tea advertisement successfully conveys promotional messages effectively

Abstract

Nowadays, developments in the legal aspect have created many changes to the conditions of government in a country. One of the major changes currently being highlighted by the public in Indonesia is the role of the judiciary, namely the Constitutional Court (MK). The public's great attention to the Constitutional Court cannot be separated from several incidents that occurred, one of which was regarding the Constitutional Court's decision regarding the age limit requirements for vice presidential candidacy which became big news recently. The spotlight on the Constitutional Court and criticism was leveled as a result of the Constitutional Court's decision regarding the legal material being reviewed (judicial review) which was deemed political and full of interests. A code of ethics is a compass that points the moral direction for legal professionals and at the same time also guarantees the moral quality of the legal profession in the eyes of society. It contains a list of special obligations for each member of the legal profession to regulate their behavior in society and is expected to be adhered to firmly by all members of the legal profession. This research wants to look at the legality aspect of Constitutional Court Decision Number 90/PUU-XXI/2023 concerning Review of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections regarding the age limit for nominations for Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates in Indonesia. This research is normative legal research. This is based on library research which takes quotations from reading books, or supporting books that are related to the problem to be researched. Add data sources. Primary, secondary and tertiary data sources are characteristic of this research. This research also uses qualitative data analysis and produces descriptive data From the results of the research and discussions carried out, several conclusions were obtained, namely: First, the decision regarding the age limit for candidacy for presidential and vice presidential candidates is different from previous decisions that examined the same subject matter. This shows the Constitutional Court's inconsistency in decision making. In the author's opinion, there is an alleged conflict of interest behind the Constitutional Court Decision No. 90/PUU-XXI/2023. However, on the other hand, the Constitutional Court's decision must be interpreted as a legal norm that applies and has legality that has permanent legal force. Second, the Constitutional Court's final decision is attached to the essence of the Constitution's position as the highest law so that no other law has a higher position than it.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah mengubah struktur ketenagakerjaan global dengan meningkatkan fleksibilitas kerja serta memunculkan profesi berbasis digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses transformasi karier dari teknisi navigasi udara ke wirausaha digital dengan fokus pada motivasi, tantangan, dan strategi adaptasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kasus personal (autoetnografi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi karier didorong oleh kebutuhan fleksibilitas kerja dan perubahan kondisi hidup. Tantangan utama meliputi kesenjangan keterampilan digital, tekanan adaptasi, dan ketidakpastian pendapatan. Strategi adaptasi dilakukan melalui pengembangan kompetensi, pembelajaran berkelanjutan, dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan transformasi karier di era digital sangat ditentukan oleh kemampuan adaptasi dan literasi digital individu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of lay-up shots in basketball through training methods for eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Ambon. The research method used in this study is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 25 eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Ambon. After processing and analyzing the data, the results of cycle I, based on the cycle I learning outcomes table above, showed that 17 students had completed the practice (68%). Meanwhile, 8 students had not completed the practice (32%). In cycle II, based on the recapitulation table of student learning completeness in cycle II above, there were 25 students who completed the practice (100%) and no students who did not complete the practice (0%). From the results of data analysis and calculations, it can be concluded that the application of training methods in learning the basic techniques of Lay-Up Shoots in basketball can improve student learning outcomes. .

Abstract

Karimun Jawa is an archipelago located in the Java Sea and part of Jepara Regency, Central Java. With a land area of approximately 1,500 hectares and waters of approximately 110,000 hectares, Karimun Jawa is currently being developed into a marine park tourist destination that is increasingly popular with local and international tourists. This study examines water availability on small coral islands using a modified Mock method. This modification was made to suit the specific characteristics of coral islands. The research findings indicate that this method is highly efficient in predicting water availability on these very small islands, thus providing a basis for more effective water resource management planning. The analysis results show that the modified F.J. Mock method produces a water discharge of 0.0111 m³/s in January and 0.0084 m³/s in December
