Abstract

E-commerce has experienced rapid growth in recent years, one of which is Tokopedia and has a significant role in influencing purchasing decisions. The growth of e-commerce has made marketers strengthen their marketing strategies with Sales Promotion which can encourage consumers to make impulse buying decisions also influenced by Shopping Lifestyle and Positive Emotion plays a significant role as a mediator. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Sales Promotion and Shopping Lifestyle on Impulsive Buying which is influenced by Positive Emotion at Tokopedia. This research method uses a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis method. The questionnaire was distributed to 385 respondents using Purposive Sampling technique and processed using Structural Eqquation Modeling - Partial Least Squre with SmartPls software version 4.0.9. The results of this study indicate that Sales Promotion, Shopping Lifestyle, Impulsive Buying, and Positive Emotions affect each other.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze leadership and work placement on employee commitment. To analyze the influence of Leadership and Work Placement on employee performance. To analyze the effect of leadership on employee performance through commitment. To analyze the influence of Job Placement on employee performance through employee commitment. To analyze the influence of employee commitment to employee performance. In this study, the population consisted of 106 civil servant employees. While the sample used was 106 people. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, while the data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study is the data analysis used in this study is SEM. Leadership influences commitment. Work placement affects commitment. Leadership influences performance. Work placement affects performance. Leadership has a significant effect on employee performance through commitment. Work placement has a significant effect on employee performance through commitment. Commitment has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

As technological developments accelerate the digitalisation of the financial sector, and to achieve high-performing and productive human resources, Bank Indonesia focuses on improving competencies, especially digital competencies. Currently there are HR training challenges that must be in line with digital megatrends and digital business processes. In addition, there is a need for leaders who are not static, but agile and highly committed to developing organisational transformation values. Bank Indonesia also needs to maintain employee motivation that can support the realisation of competent, professional and high-performing human resources. This study aims to analyse and examine the effect of leadership (X1) and training (X2) on digital competence (Y) mediated by motivation (Z) in employees of the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia Riau Province, with a quantitative approach, using saturated sampling technique to 50 employees and PLS-SEM data analysis tools. The results showed that (1) leadership has a negative and insignificant effect on digital competence, so it must be mediated by other variables to build employee awareness of the value of their work and strive for optimal competence; (2) leadership has a positive and significant effect on motivation; (3) training has a positive and insignificant effect on digital competence; (4) training has a positive and significant effect on motivation; (5) motivation has a positive and significant effect on digital competence; (6) leadership has a positive and significant effect on digital competence through motivation variables; and (7) training has a positive and significant effect on digital competence through motivation variables. Furthermore, it is suggested that it is necessary to strengthen the role of leaders in carrying out all functions in organisational management effectively, as well as increasing the effectiveness of competency assessment in work units.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Human Resource Competency and Motivation on the Performance of Culinary MSMEs in Payung Sekaki sub-district with Government Support as moderating variable. The population in this study was culinary MSMEs located in the Payung Sekaki sub-district, Pekanbaru City, totaling 705 people. By using the Slovin formula, the number of samples used in this research was 88 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire distribution method, to test the hypothesis in this research using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The sampling technique was carried out using a purposive sampling method and 88 owners were selected as samples. The results of this research show that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence between Human Resource Competence on the Performance of Culinary MSMEs, 2) There is a positive and significant influence between Motivation on the Performance of Culinary MSMEs, 3) There is no significant influence between Human Resource Competence on Performance of Culinary MSMEs moderated by Government Support, 4) There is no significant influence between Motivaton on the Performance of Culinary MSMEs moderated by Government Support.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of Foreign Direct Investment to value-added of manufacturing industry in Indonesia. This study uses data from 24 manufacturing sub-sectors according to the Indonesian Standard Industrial Classification. The data used in this study are: FDI and PMDN realization data (sourced from BKPM); data of value added, labor, fixed capital, production input costs and labor expenditures (sourced from Central Bureau of Statistic). The estimation method used is Feasible Generalized Least Square with Fixed Effect, with a period of years from 2009 to 2019. The results of this study indicate that FDI and several related variables have a significant positive effect on the value added of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

Management is faced with the challenge of enhancing employee performance to ensure the company's survival in an unstable business environment. Telkom Witel Ridar needs to focus on improving employee performance and fostering innovation to develop and maintain superior resources. Employees are expected not only to enhance their performance but also to concentrate on optimal processes and outcomes. The higher the quality of employees, the better the task execution, leading to increased efficiency and effectiveness of the output. It is crucial for Telkom Witel Ridar's management to address these issues by providing effective training, enhancing management support, and fostering collaboration within the work environment to boost employee performance. This research aims to analyze and examine the influence of training (X1) and work environment (X2) on employee performance (Y) through motivation (Z) at PT. Telkom Witel Ridar. Enhancing employee productivity is considered to contribute to the company's growth. Data collection was conducted using a saturated sampling technique involving 55 employees, and data analysis was performed using PLS-SEM with the SmartPLS 4 application. The research findings indicate that (1) training has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance; (2) training has a positive and insignificant effect on motivation; (3) the work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance; (4) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on motivation; (5) motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (6) training has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance through motivation; and (7) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through motivation. Based on the research results, it is recommended to provide additional training, mentoring, or other resources to help employees meet established standards, adjust training methods and content to be more relevant to employee needs, view training as a long-term investment in employee development, enhance managerial skills to optimize superior-subordinate relationships, and implement reward programs, regular positive feedback, or recognition opportunities in front of colleagues.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Role of Business Adaptation in Mediating the Effect of Entrepreneurial Orientation and Product Innovation on the Business Performance of MSMEs in Palangka Raya. This research uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study consists of 100 respondents. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study indicate that: 1) Entrepreneurial Orientation has a positive and significant effect on Business Adaptation, 2) Product Innovation has a positive and significant effect on Business Adaptation, 3) Entrepreneurial Orientation has a positive and significant effect on Business Performance, 4) Product Innovation has a positive and significant effect on Business Performance, 5) Business Adaptation has a negative and significant effect on Business Performance, 6) Business Adaptation plays a negative and significant role in mediating the relationship between Entrepreneurial Orientation and Business Performance, and 7) Business Adaptation plays a negative and significant role in mediating the relationship between Product Innovation and Business Performance. It is recommended for future research to examine other factors influencing the business performance of MSMEs in Palangka Raya, such as internal company factors, external factors, and business environment factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of brand image on purchase intention mediated by trust. This research uses quantitative research methods. The population used in this study is the millennial generation who have purchased fashion products online in Batam City. The technique used in sampling this research is purposive sampling, namely the selection of samples selected based on consideration of convenience sampling techniques, where the sampling technique by sampling by chance which is considered as a sample member is people who are easy to meet, are at the right time, and are easy to reach. The criteria are the millennial generation who have purchased fashion products through e-commerce platforms in Batam who were born around 1980 to 1995 when technology was advanced. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, outer model analysis, inner model, and mediating hypothesis testing through the SmartPLS programme. The results showed that brand image has a significant effect on trust, trust has a significant effect on purchase intention, while brand image has no significant effect on purchase intention, but trust is able to mediate between brand image and purchase intention

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Business Capital, Entrepreneurial Competence and Income on Business Sustainability of SMEs Actors in Toapaya District, Bintan Regency. The research object in this study is SMEs actors in Toapaya District. The method used in this research is Quantitative Method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire, the sampling technique in this study used Simple Random Sampling. With a population of 213 SMEs players in Toapaya District, the sample in this study was 120 samples. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis so that the results of the study are found, namely Personally, the Business Capital Variable has a positive and significant effect on the Business Continuity of SMEs Actors with a Thitung value (4.608> 1.980), the Entrepreneurial Competency Variable has a positive and significant effect on the business continuity of SMEs  Actors with a Thitung value (2.177> 1.980) and the Income Variable has a positive and significant effect on the Business Continuity of SMEs Actors with a Thitung value (3.990> 1.980). While simultaneously the variables of business capital, entrepreneurial competence and income have a positive and significant effect on the business continuity of SMEs  actors in Toapaya District, Bintan Regency.

Abstract

Performance contains components of competence and productivity results, so performance results are highly dependent on the level of individual ability in achieving them, especially organizational goals. Performance emphasizes the results of the functions of a job or what comes out (out-come). If you pay further attention to what happens in a job or position is a process that processes input into output (work results). This study aims to Organizational Culture and Leadership on Morale. Effect of Organizational Culture and Leadership on Employee Performance. The effect of Work Morale on Employee Performance. The influence of Organizational Culture on Employee Performance through Employee Morale and the influence of Leadership on Employee Performance through Morale.  In this study, the population was 100 employees of the Head Office of the Riaufiber Division of PT RAPP. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, while the data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study is sem. From the results of the study it was found that organizational culture and leadership affect morale and performance. Morale has a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance through morale. Leadership has a significant effect on employee performance through morale.
