Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) constitute a fundamental component of the national economic framework, particularly in terms of employment generation and regional economic development. Despite their significance, many MSMEs encounter persistent challenges in designing and implementing business models that are both sustainable and responsive to dynamic market conditions. This study aims to systematically analyse the application of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) within the context of MSME development and management in Indonesia. Employing a systematic literature review methodology, this research synthesizes findings from 34 peer-reviewed articles and scholarly journals to assess the practical implementation of BMC components—including customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, and cost structure—within MSME operations. The results demonstrate that the BMC functions as an effective strategic framework, enabling MSMEs to conceptualize and structure adaptive and sustainable business models. Moreover, the adoption of BMC contributes to enhancing MSME competitiveness by fostering a more comprehensive understanding of customer value creation. The study concludes that while the BMC offers substantial benefits in strengthening MSME business practices, its successful implementation necessitates continued support in the form of mentoring and capacity-building initiatives. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers engaged in the formulation of innovative, business model-oriented strategies for MSME development.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct research on how Content Marketing, Online Reviews, and Brand Image influence purchasing decisions for Wardah skincare products for people in Batam City. dnerm The research population includes Batam people who have purchased Wardah skincare products online, with a sample size of 170 respondents. The method used is a quantitative approach, where data is collected through a survey using a questionnaire distributed to the people of Batam according to predetermined criteria. Data analysis was performed with SEM (Structural Equation Model) using SmartPLS software. The findings of this study indicate that Online Reviews have no influence on purchasing decisions, while Content Marketing and Brand Image are proven to have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. In addition, the people of Batam are very concerned about Content Marketing and Online Review when assessing a skincare brand.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, organizational commitment, work motivation, and work-life balance on personnel performance at Tanjungpinang Police Resort. The research employed a quantitative method with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 200 non-commissioned officers. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results showed that leadership style, organizational commitment, work motivation, and work-life balance had positive and significant effects on personnel performance. The research model indicating that 96.4% of the variation in personnel performance could be explained by these four independent variables. Organizational commitment had the strongest influence on performance, followed by work-life balance, leadership style, and work motivation. These findings provide important implications for developing strategies to improve police personnel performance through strengthening organizational commitment and work-life balance, as well as developing effective leadership styles and appropriate motivation systems.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the role of HR planning and direction in strategic HRM on employee productivity with employee engagement as mediation. This research is a correlational (associative) research with a quantitative approach. The data in this study were obtained using a questionnaire method. The data used is primary data. This study used 110 respondents as the research sample. The results of this study are that HR planning has an insignificant effect on employee productivity of Tour and Travel Companies in West Sumatra. Employee direction has a significant effect on employee productivity of Tour and Travel Companies in West Sumatra. Employee involvement mediates the effect of HR planning on employee productivity of Tour and Travel Companies in West Sumatra. Employee involvement mediates the effect of direction on employee productivity. Employee involvement has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity of tour and travel companies in West Sumatra. The employee involvement variable has the highest direct effect of 46.92% on productivity. This means that employee involvement in Tour and Travel Companies in West Sumatra can contribute the most compared to other variables to increase productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of environmental performance, environmental costs and business risk on firm value. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study included all food and beverage subsector companies. The sample in this study amounted to 24 companies. The sampling method used is purposive sampling. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that environmental performance and business risk had no effect on firm value. Environmental costs have a positive effect on firm value.

Abstract

A smartphone is a cellular phone with a built-in microprocessor, memory, display and modem. With the development of the smartphone industry, manufacturers are creating gadgets that are increasingly sophisticated, top-notch and designed for their consumers. Therefore, those who are rebuilding their business must compete hard to improve their marketing strategies and sales of smartphone products. Therefore, this justifies the conductivity of research on consumer purchasing behavior towards this smartphone. This study was conducted to determine and analyze the effect of the role of social media and Brand Image on Samsung Smartphone Purchasing Decisions in Batam City. The research design uses descriptive quantitative methods and data analysis using Smart Partial Least Square analysis tools with a sample of 140 respondents. Research results: The R-square value is 0.375. This value says that the role of social media and brand image simultaneously influence purchasing decisions is 37.5%. The rest are other variables apart from the pattern variables in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build environmental awareness through green organizational culture at sds toan hwa tanjungpinang school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Then the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that SDS Toan Hwa Tanjungpinang has implemented a green organizational culture quite well The implementation of this green organizational culture is carried out through various programs and activities, such as: physically and mentally healthy includes the physical and mental health, of classroom students without using air conditioning to maintain air circulation, facilities that meet health standards including toilets and classrooms, routine sports activities every Wednesday morning, collaborating with health centers for health screening including dental examinations and immunizations, urging parents to provide healthy lunches for children without using disposable packaging such as sterofoam. This research is intended to find out that green organizational culture is an effective strategy to build environmental awareness in schools. The implementation of green organizational culture can increase students' awareness of the environment and encourage them to behave in an environmentally friendly manner

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of brand image, price, and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on purchasing decisions of Azarine sunscreen products among students of the Faculty of Economics and Maritime Business, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University. A quantitative approach was used using a survey method involving 93 respondents who had purchased or used the product. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially price and e-WOM had a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, while brand image did not have a significant effect. However, simultaneously, the three variables significantly influenced purchasing decisions. These findings can be strategic input for companies to improve their marketing strategies, especially in digital communication and brand positioning.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the influence of cashback, flash sale, and free shipping on the purchase intention of FEBM UMRAH students during Shopee’s twin date events. A quantitative approach was used, with the population beng active FEBM UMRAH students who made purchases during the twin date events. A total of 94 respondents were selected using insidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, an the coefficient of determination with SPSS version 26. The resulting regression model is Y = 2,542 + 0,464X1 + 0,686X2 + 0,154X3 + e with and Adjusted R2 of 0,687 or 68,7%. The t-test results indicate that cashback (X1) and flash sale (X2) have a positive and significant effect on purchase intetion, while free shipping (X3) has a positive but not significant effect. The F-test shows that all three variables simultanaeously have a significant effect, with F-valu of 69.095 > F-table 2,71 and significance of 0,000<0,05. Thus, it can be conducted that promotion strategies involving economic incentives and urgency effectively increase students purchase intentions during Shopee’s events

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Role of Business Adaptation in Mediating the Effect of Entrepreneurial Orientation and Product Innovation on the Business Performance of MSMEs in Palangka Raya. This research uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study consists of 100 respondents. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study indicate that: 1) Entrepreneurial Orientation has a positive and significant effect on Business Adaptation, 2) Product Innovation has a positive and significant effect on Business Adaptation, 3) Entrepreneurial Orientation has a positive and significant effect on Business Performance, 4) Product Innovation has a positive and significant effect on Business Performance, 5) Business Adaptation has a negative and significant effect on Business Performance, 6) Business Adaptation plays a negative and significant role in mediating the relationship between Entrepreneurial Orientation and Business Performance, and 7) Business Adaptation plays a negative and significant role in mediating the relationship between Product Innovation and Business Performance. It is recommended for future research to examine other factors influencing the business performance of MSMEs in Palangka Raya, such as internal company factors, external factors, and business environment factors.
