Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze various innovations in education management, evaluate their impact on the quality of education and student learning outcomes, and develop practical recommendations that can be implemented by education stakeholders in Indonesia. Thus, it is hoped that this research can contribute to creating a learning environment that is more inclusive, relevant and responsive to community needs, as well as overcoming the challenges faced in the education system. This research uses a type of library research or literature study, where researchers rely on various literature sources to collect relevant data and information. With a qualitative approach, this research focuses on analyzing data in the form of words or descriptions, allowing researchers to explore the context and meaning behind the information found. The results of this research show that innovation in educational management involves curriculum development, use of technology, improvement of human resources, stakeholder participation, and evaluation systems. Competency-based curriculum and project learning increase educational relevance and student engagement, while the integration of information and communications technology (ICT) increases the efficiency of data management and communications. Ongoing training for teachers is important for the quality of teaching, and parent and community involvement increases accountability. Practical recommendations include adaptive curriculum development, technology training, community engagement programs, and data-driven evaluation to create inclusive and effective educational environments.

Abstract

Resilience in adolescents experiencing parental divorce is influenced by gender and the type of divorce. Boys and girls exhibit different responses to divorce, both behaviorally and emotionally. Additionally, the type of divorce (divorce alive or divorce dead) has varying impacts on adolescent resilience. The respondents of this study were 87 adolescents selected using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a resilience questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and t-test analysis. The results show: (1) The overall level of resilience among adolescents is mostly in the moderate category; (2) There is a significant difference in resilience between male and female adolescents; (3) There is a significant difference in resilience between adolescents experiencing parental divorce in the case of divorce alive versus divorce dead. To support optimal resilience development, it is important for teachers, counselors, and parents to understand these dynamics and provide support that meets the individual needs of adolescents.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the observation that some students struggle to manage their time and study situations, often prioritizing activities that do not support their personal development. This indicates that students may have inadequate self-regulated learning. The objectives of this research are to describe: 1) the overall self-regulated learning of students, 2) the self-regulated learning of students in the exact sciences, 3) the self-regulated learning of students in the social sciences, and 4) to examine the differences in self-regulated learning between students in the exact sciences and social sciences. This research employs a quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive design. The sample consisted of 388 students selected using proportional random sampling. The instrument used was a self-regulated learning questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and t-test analysis with Microsoft Excel and SPSS 26. The findings reveal that: 1) the overall self-regulated learning of students is categorized as high; 2) the self-regulated learning of students in the exact sciences is categorized as high; 3) the self-regulated learning of students in the social sciences is categorized as moderate; and 4) there is a significant difference in self-regulated learning between students in the exact sciences and social sciences. The implications for counseling services that can be provided include informational services and group guidance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of many final-semester students not graduating on time. Academic stress is commonly experienced by students during the completion of their final projects due to both external pressures and internal self-expectations. Gender is one of the factors influencing academic stress. The sample consisted of 338 students from Universitas Negeri Padang who received the KIP scholarship in 2020, selected using Proportional Random Sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire on academic stress. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and t-test analysis. The results indicate: 1) The level of academic stress among students in completing their final projects is categorized as moderate; 2) The level of academic stress in the aspect of academic stressors is also categorized as moderate; 3) The level of academic stress regarding reactions to academic stressors is categorized as moderate; and 4) The hypothesis is accepted, indicating a significant difference in academic stress between male and female students. To help address the issues of academic stress among students, counseling services that can be provided include informational services, individual counseling, and group counseling.

Abstract

Hazardous and Toxic Waste (B3) is a result waste from various activities that contain harmful and toxic materials. According to the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia No. P.56 of 2015, hospitals are categorized as healthcare facilities required to manage B3 waste. The significance of managing B3 waste in hospitals is substantial, as improper management can lead to various negative impacts. During the management process, particularly during the sorting of B3 waste at the source, there are frequent issues with incorrect packaging and contamination. Such packaging errors during sorting can lead to workplace accidents.The objective of this research is to assess the B3 waste management system at RSUD Pasaman Barat, focusing on whether the processes of sorting, packaging, storage, and transportation comply with Permen LHK No. 56 of 2015, which outlines the procedures and technical requirements for managing hazardous and toxic waste from healthcare facilities. This research employs a qualitative method to evaluate the management system of hazardous and toxic waste (B3). The findings indicate that RSUD Pasaman Barat generates an average of 1,740.51 kg of B3 waste per month. Overall, the processes involved in managing B3 waste at RSUD Pasaman Barat-from sorting and packaging to transportation and temporary storage-still exhibit several non-compliances with Permen LHK No. 56 of 2015.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the improvement in Pancasila education learning outcomes using an active learning model with the role reversal question type in class V students at SDN 18 Kampung Baru, Padang City. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were 21 students in class V of SD N 18 Kampung Baru, Padang City. The data collection method in this research uses tests, observation and documentation. The research instruments are tests and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The indicator of the success of the action is marked by ?80% of the total number of students who took part in the learning process having obtained a score of ?86.27. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in Pancasila education learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SD N 18 Kampung Baru, Padang city after using the active learning model with the role reversal question type in both cycle I and cycle II. 1.) in the results of the implementation of learning in cycle I, the average planning value was 87.45%, then increased in cycle II, namely 95.8%. 2.) In cycle I, teacher activity averaged 91%, increasing in cycle II to 96.4%. 3.) In carrying out student activities, the average was 91%, increasing in cycle II to 96.4%.

Abstract

During menstruation, young women's reproductive organs that are not kept clean are very susceptible to disease due to fungi, bacteria, parasites and viruses that are susceptible to entering the vaginal canal. So, young women during menstruation must pay attention to personal hygiene as best as possible to improve health from an early age and efforts to prevent disease. The aim of the research is to determine the factors related to the personal hygiene of young women during menstruation at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang in 2024. This type of research is quantitative analytical with a cross sectional research design, this research was carried out on 07-11 June 2024 at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang. The sample in this study was all female students in grades VII and VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang totaling 90 female students according to the sample criteria. The sampling technique used was Total Sampling. The data collection tool in this research used a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The research results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (p value 0.006), attitudes (p value 0.017), sources of information (p value 0.018) and personal hygiene during menstruation among young women at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang. It is hoped that young women will always pay attention to personal hygiene during menstruation in daily life to prevent or reduce itching in the feminine area, infections of the reproductive organs and urinary tract infections.

Abstract

Dengan menggunakan media sebuah proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Media 3 dimensi adalah media yang disajikan secara visual dalam bentuk tiga dimensi, tanpa menggunakan proyeksi. Media 3 dimensi bisa berbentuk benda asli atau tiruan dari benda asli, dan memiliki dimensi panjang, lebar, dan tinggi. Media 3 dimensi dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada siswa. Media 3 dimensi dapat membantu siswa untuk menangkap apa yang disampaikan oleh guru di kelas, sehingga siswa dapat menuangkan ide dari apa yang mereka lihat. Beberapa contoh media 3 dimensi yang sering digunakan dalam pengajaran adalah model dan boneka. Model merupakan tiruan tiga dimensi dari objek nyata yang terlalu besar, terlalu jauh, terlalu kecil, terlalu mahal, terlalu jarang, atau terlalu ruwet untuk dibawa ke dalam kelas. Media 3 dimensi memiliki beberapa kelebihan, namun juga memiliki kekurangan, yaitu: Tidak ada fitur tambahan seperti video. Tidak ada informasi atau penjelasan konsep-konsep materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bubuk kayu manis pada kopi Talu. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan adalah variasi penambaan kayu manis pada bubuk kopi sebesar (1%, 2%, 3%, 4% dan 5%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi penambahan bubuk kayu manis pada kopi bubuk Talu memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap: kadar air, kadar abu, aktivitas antioksidan dan nilai pH. Karakteristik bubuk kopi bubuk Talu terbaik yaitu pada fomulasi 3% (perlakuan C) dengan nilai proksimat sebagai berikut: kadar air 4.34%; kadar abu 3.98%; aktivitas antioksidan 71.44% dan nilai pH 4.98 pada formulasi 3% serta nilai organoleptik: rasa 4.90; aroma 5.90; dan warna 5.90. (perlakuan C).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kemajuan teknologi dan informasi yang sudah berkembang. Teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan evaluasi, termasuk dalam integrasi materi literasi dan numerasi. Namun, realitas di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa potensi ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh banyak pihak, terutama dalam lingkungan pendidikan formal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi guru terhadap pelatihan pengembangan soal literasi dan numerasi berbasis aplikasi testmoz di KKG Gugus II Kecamatan Silungkang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan total sampel sebanyak 34 guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket tertutup berbasis skala Likert melalui google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru pada setiap aspek. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru mempunyai persepsi yang positif terhadap pelatihan pengembangan soal literasi dan numerasi berbasis aplikasi testmoz di KKG Gugus II Kecamatan Silungkang.
