Abstract

This study aims to examine how technology integration in curriculum management and administration can contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of school operations. This type of research is a literature study. Literature study is an important step in research that helps researchers to find out what has been previously studied on the same topic. The results of this study indicate that technology plays a crucial role in curriculum management and educational administration. Technology integration, such as learning management systems (LMS) and school management information systems (SMS), not only improves operational efficiency but also strengthens collaboration between teachers, students, and parents. With real-time data access and analysis, decision making becomes faster and more precise, allowing for more effective responses to student needs. Although challenges such as resistance to change and infrastructure problems remain, the long-term benefits of implementing technology are clear, including improving the quality of education and student readiness to face future challenges.

Abstract

This article was written with the aim of analyzing how the legal reconstruction of the Judicial Administration-Contempt of Court Crime Bill ("hereinafter refered to the “CoC Bill") is a way for the Judicial Commission to improve its performance and relations with the Supreme Court. One side of the judge (IKAHI) hopes that this bill will soon be passed by the DPR. On the other hand, many groups of people reject the draft because it is considered very excessive and has the potential to threaten the freedom of citizens. By using normative legal research methods and legislative approaches as well as thinking about legal effectiveness according to Lawrence M. Friedman as an analytical tool, this article finds that the legal reconstruction that must be carried out by the Judicial Commission is: first, regarding the definition of criminal acts by justice administrators (contempt of court) second, regarding the principles of criminal law, third, conflicts with criminal procedural law, fourth, regarding articles that overlap with the Criminal Code, fifth, regarding high criminal threats, sixth, regarding the evidentiary system and seventh, theoretical reflection. The results of the legal reconstruction by the Judicial Commission were then discussed with various law enforcement parties, legal observers, academics, practitioners and the public. The final result of the reconstruction and discussion is that the Draft is submitted back to the DPR.

Abstract

Parking fees in Bireuen Regency are regulated by Qanun Number 10 of 2011 on Parking Service Fees on Public Roads. According to this Qanun, the target for parking fees from motor vehicles in the Kota Juang District of Bireuen Regency for 2022 was set at IDR 1,100,000,000. However, the actual revenue collected was only IDR 755,850,000, indicating a significant shortfall. This issue is attributed to the presence of illegal parking attendants whose revenues do not contribute to the regional budget. The aim of this study is to understand how the targets and actual revenue from parking fees fall short of the Qanun requirements. Utilizing analytical theory and a qualitative approach, the research examines activities and phenomena related to parking fee management to identify causes and appropriate solutions. The study concludes that the target and realization of the regional revenue from parking fees have not met the standards set by Qanun Number 10 of 2011.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal protection of copyright for works published in e-media and the implications of these regulations. This type of research is a literature study. Literature studies involve not only collecting sources but also critical analysis of these sources, to understand the contribution made by previous studies in the context of the research being conducted. The results of this study indicate that the understanding of copyright among creators of works in e-media is still very low, where around 60% of respondents are not familiar with the applicable copyright regulations. This lack of understanding, which is caused by limited information and ambiguity regarding protected rights, causes many creators to be unaware that their works can be used without permission, thus increasing copyright infringement, such as plagiarism. Previous studies also emphasize the importance of education and increasing public awareness of copyright, given that weak law enforcement and complicated complaint procedures make creators reluctant to claim their rights. Therefore, this study recommends effective education programs, cooperation between the government, e-media platforms, and creative communities, and simplification of the complaint process, to strengthen copyright protection and support the development of the creative ecosystem in the digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore various strategies and best practices in creating an inclusive learning environment for students with special needs. This study also aims to identify challenges faced by educators in implementing inclusive education and provide recommendations to improve teacher training and support. This study is a literature study. Literature study is the collection of information from various published written sources to gain a better understanding of the topic being studied. This includes critical analysis and synthesis of previous findings. The results of this study indicate that inclusion in education is a practice that ensures all students, including those with special needs, have the opportunity to learn in a regular classroom environment. This concept is rooted in the right of every individual to receive a quality education, which supports students' social and emotional development through interaction with peers. Inclusion also offers academic benefits, providing students with special needs with access to diverse teaching methods and more complete resources, which improves their learning outcomes. However, the success of inclusion depends on teacher training, policy support, and collaboration between parents, schools, and communities, creating an environment that values ??diversity and prepares students to contribute to a more inclusive society.

Abstract

Children under the age of 18, often characterized by a dull appearance and living on the streets, engage in activities such as selling newspapers, begging and busking to survive. This social problem arises because of social inequality and poverty, which makes it difficult for them to access the resources around them. In addition, a lack of religious education was also identified as a factor influencing these children, making them unable to face the trials. This research aims to analyze and propose solutions to improve the implementation program of Padang Mayor's regulation Number 41 of 2017 concerning procedures for developing street children which aims to prevent and overcome the problem of street children through various activities such as socialization, supervision and control. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method where research provides an overview of individuals or groups regarding the conditions that occur. This data collection technique is through direct observation, interviews and documentation which provides an in-depth understanding of the condition of street children in Padang City. The results of the research and discussion show that in the implementation of Padang Mayor Regulation Number 41 of 2017 there are still obstacles that affect the effectiveness of the program, such as street children's lack of understanding of the regulations and limitations of the socialization approach. To overcome this problem, a more effective and intensive approach is needed in the socialization and assistance of street children as well as the importance of implementing a clear and consistent communication approach in the policy implementation process so that they can understand and follow the regulations well.

Abstract

Undang-Undang Nomor 6 tahun 2016 tentang Desa telah memfungsikan Kepala Desa (Kades) sebagai Hakim Perdamaian Desa. Ini penting guna menciptakan masyarakat yang aman dan tentram diantara warga desa sesuai dengan apa yang dikehendaki oleh Pemerintah. Sehingga tidak setiap perselisihan yang terjadi diantara warga desa selalu ada dilimpahkan ke Pengadilan, oleh karena perkara atau persengketaan cukup diselesaikan oleh Hakim Perdamaian Desa, terutama terhadap perkara-perkara yang sederhana yang terjadi di masyarakat. Pertanyaan penelitian: (1) Bagaimana tugas, kewenangan, serta hak dan kewajiban Kades sebagai Hakim perdamaian?; (2) Bagaimana jika para pihak yang berselisih tidak menjalankan apa yang telah disepakati atau diputus oleh Kades dalam kapasitas sebagai Hakim perdamaian? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum yuridis normatif. Bahan hukum yang digunakan mengacu pada bahan hukum primer dan bahan hukum sekunder. Guna memperkuat digunakan bahan hukum tersier. Hasil penelitian menujukkan: (a) Salah satu tugas Kades yaitu melakukan pembinaan kemasyarakatan. Dalam melaksanakan tugasnya Kades berwenang untuk membina ketenteraman dan ketertiban masyarakat. Kades berhak mendapatkan pelindungan hukum atas kebijakan yang dilaksanakan. Kades berkewajiban memelihara ketenteraman dan ketertiban masyarakat; dan menyelesaikan perselisihan masyarakat di Desanya; (b) Kades berkewajiban menyelesaikan semua hambatan di Desa. Tidak dilaksanakannya hasil kesepakatn penyelesaian oleh para pihak, konsekuensinya adalah eksekusi oleh pengadilan (perdata) atau penyelesaian kasus di pengadilan formal (pidana). Atas tindakan dan putusannya sebagai Hakim perdamaian, Kades berhak mendapatkan pelindungan hukum. Saran penelitian ini, guna menjamin difungsikannya Hakim Perdamaian Desa dalam sistem Peradilan Desa, dan berjalan sesuai dengan fungsinya, maka eksistensi Peradilan Desa dalam praktek agar tidak sering berbenturan dengan sistem peradilan formal negara, maka harus dilakukan pembenahan hukum nasional secara menyeluruh, termasuk peraturan teknis yang menjadi acuan pelaksanaannya.

Abstract

This study examines the significant role of women in the implementation of urban farming to enhance food security and family resilience in the Pasie Nan Tigo and Padang Sarai villages. Urban farming emerges as a vital solution in urban areas facing challenges such as climate change and rapid urbanization. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to assess women's participation in urban farming activities. The findings indicate that 75% of the surveyed women actively engage in urban farming, leading to increased food availability and improved economic independence within households. However, challenges such as limited knowledge of farming techniques and access to quality resources were identified. This study highlights the necessity of strengthening women's roles in urban farming initiatives as a community-based climate adaptation strategy, ultimately contributing to enhanced food security and resilience against natural disasters.

Abstract

The concept of good governance plays a crucial role in creating an effective, efficient, and independent local government, especially in the field of population administration. The Population and Civil Registration Office of Bireuen Regency strives to implement the principles of good governance but faces various challenges that hinder the optimization of public services. These challenges include the suboptimal performance of bureaucratic apparatus, a lack of transparency and accountability, and bureaucratic complexities that result in citizens feeling obstructed in meeting their administrative needs. Additionally, low participation from both the community and the private sector in policy-making and program evaluation creates a gap between the government, society, and private entities, often leading to policies that do not align with the expectations and needs of the people. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the principles of good governance in the service of issuing electronic ID cards (e-KTP) at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bireuen Regency. The method used is a qualitative approach, with analysis based on good governance principles according to the National Institute of Public Administration. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of good governance principles in public services, particularly in the issuance of e-KTP, has not been optimal. This is evident from the gap between established policies and the realities on the ground, where citizens still face various obstacles in accessing fast, transparent, and accountable services. Therefore, it is essential for the Population and Civil Registration Office to continually improve service quality, enhance community involvement, and ensure that good governance principles are consistently applied to create a better and more responsive government that meets the needs of the people.

Abstract

This research aims to provide in-depth insight into how educational psychology can support the inclusion of students with special needs in the digital era. By exploring existing literature, it is hoped that strategies and tools can be found that can create a responsive learning environment. The importance of literature study in research, especially to develop a solid theoretical framework. Through literature reviews, researchers not only understand existing concepts and theories, but can also identify gaps in previous research, providing an opportunity to build a strong foundation. The results of this research emphasize the importance of a differentiated approach in teaching to create an inclusive and responsive learning environment, where educators can consider students' individual needs and abilities by adapting teaching methods through strategies such as collaborative learning and the use of multimedia. Information and communications technology (ICT) also plays a crucial role, enabling material adjustments and real-time feedback that enrich the learning experience of students, including those with special needs. In addition, building a supportive social environment, through positive interactions and emotional support from educators, is essential to encourage students' self-confidence and active participation. A continuous evaluation process and feedback from students helps educators understand individual needs and preferences, creating a comfortable atmosphere for sharing ideas and reflection. Overall, the combination of a differentiation approach, use of technology, and an inclusive social environment can improve academic learning outcomes as well as students' social and emotional development.
