Abstract

One of the innovations arising from technological developments is using hypermedia in learning.  Therefore, this study aims to identify learning needs in the development of hypermedia-based Proyek IPAS learning materials in Class X vocational schools. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), the development model used in this study combines the Dick and Carey and Lee & Owens models, which focus on the development of hypermedia-based Proyek IPAS learning materials, both of which were chosen because they complement each other in the development of technology-based learning materials, especially in multimedia learning such as hypermedia. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaire interviews, and learning outcomes tests. The results showed that students aged 15-16 can use technological devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones, but are more often used for entertainment than learning. Observations revealed the limitations of available learning materials, so interactive and appropriate hypermedia-based Proyek IPAS learning materials are needed. This research provides a basis for developing innovative and relevant hypermedia-based Proyek IPAS learning materials to support project-based learning in vocational high schools.

Abstract

This study offers a thorough summary of the state of research in the area of local government finance by conducting a systematic literature review. Drawing on 25 years of pertinent publications in the subject of public budgeting and finance, the study addresses a variety of topics, such as capital budgeting, budgeting and budget reform, intergovernmental finance, financial management, and alternative service delivery. Scopus was used to gather the data, and 580 articles were deemed suitable for additional examination. The data were analyzed using Bibliometric approach. The analysis highlights China, the United States, and the United Kingdom as dominant contributors, with a strong focus on topics such as fiscal decentralization, local government finance, and governance efficiency. The author collaboration network reveals fragmented clusters, with limited interconnections among researchers, emphasizing the need for broader global and interdisciplinary collaborations. Additionally, the findings underscore the growing importance of emerging themes such as sustainability, digital governance, and AI-driven fiscal management, which remain underexplored. Geographical imbalances in research output further highlight the need for greater representation from underrepresented regions, including Africa, South America, and parts of Asia. Policymakers and practitioners who want to keep up with the most recent advancements and industry best practices in local government finance will also benefit from it.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of students' high-level thinking skills through the Discovery Learning learning model in improving explanatory text writing skills. Explanatory texts, which serve to explain phenomena logically and systematically, contribute to the development of students' critical and analytical mindsets. Through the Discovery Learning approach, students are directed to find cause-and-effect relationships independently, thereby increasing their cognitive involvement in understanding and writing explanatory texts. The study also highlights the importance of explicit learning strategies such as scaffolding, the use of text models, and reflective exercises to support writing skills. However, there are various challenges such as limited ability to organize ideas, lack of understanding of academic language, and low intrinsic motivation of students. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Discovery Learning learning model  has proven to be effective in improving skills in explanatory text writing because it encourages students to discover important concepts on their own through the process of active exploration. This study recommends the consistent integration of explanatory text-based approaches and Discovery Learning in educational practices to comprehensively improve students' academic literacy.

Abstract

This research analyzes the legal implications and consumer protection in the purchase of boarding houses with Pre Project Selling (PPS) system by Developer Adhiland in Malang. The juridical-sociological empirical method reveals discrepancies between Adhiland's practices and the Consumer Protection Law and PUPR Regulation, which require developers to fulfill requirements such as IMB, land ownership, and a minimum development progress of 20%. The findings show that Adhiland often violates these provisions, such as the absence of IMB and the unclear schedule of the sale deed, which creates legal uncertainty and the risk of default. Consumers have the right to seek redress through BPSK (mediation/arbitration) or litigation, although the court route is rarely chosen due to its complexity and high cost. The research concluded three critical points: 1) Adhiland is operating PPS in a non-compliant manner, 2) Violations are potentially subject to administrative/criminal sanctions, and 3) Buyers can file a lawsuit despite facing procedural obstacles. Recommendations The research emphasizes two aspects: first, stricter government oversight of PPS practices, including verification of permits and development progress. Second, educating buyers about their legal rights to prevent losses. These findings are relevant as material for evaluating property consumer protection policies.

Abstract

Logo is one of the important elements in a brand's visual identity, especially in the context of MSME product packaging. This study aims to analyse the role of logos on product packaging as a means of visual advertising that has an effect on increasing sales results. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires to 100 consumers and interviews with 15 MSME players in the food and beverage sector in the Lampung region. The results showed that 76% of consumers stated that logos influence purchasing decisions, and 82% stated that logos increase trust in products. Most MSMEs that have redesigned their packaging with a professional logo experienced a 20-35% increase in sales. This finding shows that logos on packaging not only serve as an identity, but also as an effective direct promotional medium in strengthening brand awareness and driving sales conversions. This research suggests that MSMEs should prioritise logo design in their marketing strategy as a long-term visual investment that impacts business performance.

Abstract

This article aims to strengthen the discourse on integrated curriculum systems within Islamic education. The integration system in question incorporates physical education into the well-established pesantren (Islamic boarding school) framework. As a result of this integration, a Special Sports Class referred to as Kelas Khusus Olahraga (KKO) has emerged. KKO represents an innovative breakthrough initiated by NU Al Ma’ruf Senior High School in Kudus to provide education that aligns with contemporary needs, addressing the era's demands while accommodating students' interests and talents. KKO serves as an alternative response to the current challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions. Employing a library research method, this study explores how NU Al Ma’ruf Senior High School has developed an integrated curriculum model that aligns with Islamic teachings, embraces modern developments, and preserves cultural heritage. The integration model presented in this study constitutes a form of renewal in Islamic education, illustrating how institutions traditionally perceived as conservative are undergoing significant transformation to meet present-day educational needs. The aim of this study is to explore an integrated management model between Islamic religious education and physical education within the Special Sports Class.
