JURNAL ILMIAH PENDAS: PRIMARY EDUCATION JOURNAL merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, FKIP Universitas Mataram. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada muatan matematika materi pecahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dikelas V SDNU Al-Istiqomah Rejodadi yang merupakan salah satu sekolah swasta di Kabupaten Gresik. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan MC. Taggart dengan menerapkan dua siklus penelitian, dengan diberikan tes pra siklus dan akhir siklus sebagai pembanding peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Tiap siklusnya dilakukan dengan satu kali tindakan, dengan satu tindakan dilakukan satu kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas V SDNU Al-Istiqomah yang terdiri dari 15 peserta didik dengan 8 siswa laki-laki dan 7 siswi perempuan. Sumber data terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari wawancara tidak terstruktur, observasi, dokumen, dan hasil tes peserta didik. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini terdiri dari data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik muatan matematika materi pecahan kelas V SDNU Al-Istiqomah Rejodadi, Kabupaten Gresik.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the application of the contextual teaching and learning model can improve learning outcomes in mathematics content regarding sides, angles and edges of geometric shapes in class 2A MI Masyhudiyah students. This type of research is classroom action research or PTK. This research design uses the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model which consists of 4 components, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects that will be used in this classroom action research are 25 students in class 2A MI Mashhudiyah, consisting of 15 male students and 10 female students. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation and tests. This research data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive. The criteria for success in this classroom action research are based on increasing student learning outcomes in each cycle. The criteria used to see the success of the action are in the form of increasing student learning outcomes. Students are declared to have improved if a minimum percentage of 70% of all students meet the KKM score of 70. The results of the research show that student learning completeness in the pre-test was 8% with an average score of 43.2%, then in cycle 1 it was 56% with an average score -an average of 68.8 and in the second cycle it was 64% with an average value of 69.2 then in the post test of third cycle it was 80% with an average value of 75. From these data it clearly shows that student learning outcomes have increased and indicators of success have been achieved

Abstract

This research is motivated by optimizing the concept of types of work including jobs based on geographic location in social studies learning for grade IV in elementary schools, so that interactive learning media articulated storylines for types of work were developed. This study aims to produce products from the design of interactive learning media articulate storyline, describe the feasibility of the media from the validation results of experts including material experts, linguists and media experts, as well as user responses, namely teachers and students, to the use of interactive learning media. By using articulate storyline interactive learning media, it is hoped that the media can help students at different levels of abstraction because of the images in the multimedia. This study uses the Design and Development method using the ADDIE model development (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Participants in this study involved material experts, linguists and media experts to provide an assessment of this interactive learning media. Data collection techniques carried out on this media used unstructured questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the articulate storyline interactive learning media gets a very feasible category as a medium to be used in learning, especially social studies. Based on the results of limited product trials, this interactive learning media obtained a very feasible category from material experts with aspects of material, display, program, learning and language. The responses from users, namely teachers and fourth grade students at SDN Bedahan 02 gave an assessment in the "very feasible" category with aspects of material, appearance, language, and use. So from these results, it shows that interactive learning media articulate storyline for material types of decent work is used in social studies learning for grade IV elementary schools.

Abstract

This research was conducted with observational thinking about the application of character education values in social considering learning at the 159 Palembang State Elementary School. This research uses an expressive qualitative design with a substance testing method. Based on the discourse and discourse, it is stated that: 1) Preparation for the implementation of character education at SD Negeri 159 Palembang consists of the stages of taking: planning, implementation, and assessment; and 2) the suitability of topical books that are in accordance with character education including religion, noble character, resilience, teaching, imaginative, fair, curiosity, national spirit, respect for achievement, communicative neighbors, care for the environment, social care, love to study, attentive, respect the country, work hard, and be independent

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of school culture as a means to shape the character values ​​of students at at SD Negeri Cinangerang I. The topics of study in this research are: (1) What is the description of school culture at Cinanggerang I Public Elementary School, (2) How is the implementation of school culture in at SD Negeri Cinangerang I in shaping student character values. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Sources of data from this study are school principals, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that (1) the school culture applied at SD Negeri Cinangerang I is religious culture, 5S culture, literacy culture, environmental care culture. (2) The application of the school culture is carried out through consistent good habituation in both intra-curricular and extra-curricular activities. (3) The character values ​​that are developed through school culture are religious, tolerance, discipline, responsibility, friendship, social care, love to read, care for the environment, love the motherland.

Abstract

21st century learning is learning that prepares the 21st century generation where advances in information and communication technology are developing so fast that it has a major influence on various aspects of life including the teaching and learning process. Today in the implementation of various educational programs, we are faced with various challenges that must be faced by teachers. Teachers must always have the competence of 21st century teachers, so that teachers can prepare everything well through various existing innovations by implementing them in class, especially in responding to various needs in the 21st century. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study type. Based on the initial research conducted, the researcher found the problem that the situation of class VI A students at SDN Haurngombong II who generally studied with direct learning models, especially the lecture method, showed that students were less enthusiastic about receiving lessons and caused boredom when studying in class, so this study aims to find out development of power point-based interactive learning media to improve student learning outcomes in class VI A at SDN Haurngombong II. The results of this study are 1) Development of power point-based interactive learning media to improve class VI A students at SDN Haurngombong II.

Abstract

According to the results of PISA 2018 and researcher’s observations, scientific literacy skills and students' cognitive learning outcomes are still lacking. This study aims to determine the effects of science experiments on scientific literacy and student cognitive learning outcomes. This research design used a non-equivalent control group with a quasiexperimental type. The research sample was consisted of 3 fifth grade elementary schools located at Cakranegara region. The data were collected through tests and questionnaires filled out by students. Data were analyzed using independent sample t-test and MANOVA. The analysis showed the following results: first, the scientific literacy ability of students who took part in learning using the experimental method has significant more influential than students who took part in learning using the lecture method (tcount = 8.926; p <0.05). Furthermore, both cognitive learning outcomes of students who took part in learning using the experimental method were significantly more influential than students who took part in learning using the lecture method (tcount = 4.435; p <0.05). Third, the scientific literacy ability and cognitive learning outcomes of students who participated in learning using the experimental method were significantly more influential than students who participated in the lecture learning method (F = 42,375; p < 0.05). From these results, it could be concluded that the experimental method can be applied by teachers as one of the learning methods that has a positive influence on the progress of scientific literacy skills and students' cognitive learning outcomes in science learning

Abstract

In the era of world progress, the world of education has also experienced significant developments. One of them is now in several learning activities many teachers are already using video as a learning medium. Learning media is considered very important because it is one of the assistants in teaching activities. This video-shaped media helps teachers explain material to students. In addition to increasing interest in learning, students are also more enthusiastic because of the visuals in a video. Learning media can also be one of the factors that trigger students' interest in learning. Interest in learning is an inner urge to do something that can make him interested and happy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this research is to analyze learning activities at SDN 2 Tambakrigadung. Precisely in grade 5 with a total of 30 students. The results obtained in this study showed that the activeness of students in voicing their opinions increased by 20% after the researchers explained the material presented using learning media in the form of videos.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe students' learning motivation in learning Indonesian. This type of research is qualitative research. The sample of this research is 31 grade VI students at MI Muhammadiyah 1 Sukodadi. The data collection methods used were questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. Data on student motivation was obtained using a questionnaire sheet. Meanwhile, to support the research data, interviews and classroom observations were conducted. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative. The questionnaire used is a closed questionnaire, the respondent can only answer with the answer choices provided by the researcher. Respondents cannot provide answers or other responses except those that are available as alternative answers. The results in this study for the first indicator got the highest score of 115 with a percentage of 92%, while for the second indicator the highest score was 87 with a percentage of 70%. There are 5 criteria to see the percentage of students who are interested in learning Indonesian, namely: Very Good, Good, Good Enough, Less Good, and Not Good.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop Project Based Learning science learning tools. The design of this research is development research. The research subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students. The research model used is 4D with four stages of development research namely Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. However, the implementation of this research is only limited to the development stage. development of project based learning science learning tools to produce learning implementation plans, student worksheets, and project based learning modules that are valid, practical and effective for use in elementary school students. The percentages obtained from each device are lesson plans with a percentage of 95%, LKPD with a percentage of 97%, and Modules 97% so that an average of 96% is obtained with a valid category. Project-based learning-based science learning tools are very effective for elementary school students as evidenced by limited trials and field trials conducted to measure students' responses to the use of project-based learning science-based learning tools. So it can be concluded that the project based learning learning tools for science subjects that have been developed are valid to be used as learning tools in the learning process of students in elementary schools.
