Abstract

This study aims to report the 39 students’ perceptions (as pre-service foreign language teachers) on their experiences using video recording and e-Sorogan learning methods during teaching. One of them is a student with special needs diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). With these two methods (video recording and e-Sorogan learning methods), all students’ English teaching performance during microteaching and group discussions were recorded. After being recorded, all students’ English teaching materials and their English teaching performance role play videos were uploaded in e-Sorogan. Moreover, in e-Sorogan, all students gave comments on each other's teaching performance. The instrument used to collect the data of the study was a questionnaire survey through a google form. It consists of short answer questions available in the e-Sorogan classroom to obtain data from two open-ended questions on the students’ perceptions about video-recording and e-Sorogan learning methods. To collect the data, the questionnaire was distributed through the WhatsApp group. Data collected were analyzed qualitatively. The findings illustrated that the use of video recording and e-Sorogan learning methods in microteaching has both advantages and challenges for all students who take microteaching as the pre-service teachers, including the ASD and ADHD students. Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan proses pengembangan media modul digital interaktif pembelajaran braille. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk modul digital interaktif pembelajaran braille yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran braille oleh mahasiswa baik mahasiswa normal maupun mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian pengembangan ini berdasarkan dari cara pengembangan Borg and Gall (1983), dan hanya dilakukan sampai lima tahap, yakni: 1) Research and information collecting (mencari dan mengumpulkan data), 2) Planning (perencanaan), 3) Develop preliminary form of product (mengembangkan bentuk produk awal), 4) Preliminary field testing (uji coba lapangan awal), 5) Main product revision (revisi hasil uji coba lapangan awal). Metode pengumpulan data berupa skala likert digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Validasi media dilakukan oleh ahli pembelajaran braille dan satu ahli media pembelajaran. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi pembelajaran braille memperoleh skor dengan presentase sebesar 88% dan validasi dari ahli media pembelajaran memperoleh skor sebesar 90%, Hal ini menunjukkan kategori sangat valid, dan modul digital interaktif pembelajaran braille dinyatakan layak dan dapat digunakan. Hasil implementasi kepada mahasiswa dengan memberikan angket memperoleh prosentase sebesar 92%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media modul digital interaktif pembelajaran braille sangat baik digunakan.  Kata Kunci: modul digital, interaktif, braille

Abstract

Pemerintah daerah melakukan uji coba penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif di kota Makassar yang sudah  berlangsung selama 15 tahun, tetapi belum pernah diadakan evaluasi secara seksama. Berdasarkan pemikiran tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan ingin mendalami secara seksama bagaimana keberhasilan pelaksanaan penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif di kota Makassar, dengan fokus studi evaluasi empat komponen sebagai berikut: Context, input, process, dan product. Penelitian ini bersifat evaluatif dan dirancang menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, dan Product). Menggunakan model ini diharapkan diperoleh informasi sebagai masukan bagi pihak-pihak yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan model pendidikan inklusif di sekolah-sekolah yang ada di kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menghasilkan: (1) evaluasi terhadap komponen context, latar belakang pelaksanaan program pendidikan inklusi di kota Makassar sesuai dengan Permendiknas No. 70/2009, (2) evaluasi terhadap komponen input, perencanaan program kurikulum sudah dimodifikasi sesuai karakteristik siswa, sarana dan prasarana secara umum yang belum memenuhi kebutuhan semua siswa, 25% guru reguler di sekolah inklusif belum memiliki komitmen untuk menyukseskan program inklusif, (3) evaluasi terhadap komponen process diperoleh gambaran bahwa dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran guru reguler cukup berkompeten mengajar siswa normal dan siswa ABK diserahkan kepada GPK dengan pendekatan pengajaran individual (PPI), (4) evaluasi terhadap komponen product diperoleh fakta bahwa siswa berkembang kepribadiannya di kota Makassar. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan produk pengembangan buku panduan bimbingan belajar matematika berbasis android bagi orang tua anak tunagrahita, (2) memperoleh kelayakan produk pengembangan buku panduan bimbingan belajar matematika berbasis android bagi orang tua anak tunagrahita ditinjau dari ahli media dan ahli materi, (3) untuk memperoleh kepraktisan produk pengembangan buku panduan bimbingan belajar matematika berbasis android bagi orang tua anak tunagrahita, dan uji keefektifan produk pengembangan buku panduan bimbingan belajar matematika berbasis android bagi orang tua anak tunagrahita. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SLB Al-Azhar Waru Sidoarjo dengan subjek penelitian 5 orang tua anak tunagrahita untuk dilakukan uji kepraktisan dan uji keefektifan. Pengembangan produk ini menggunakan desain model pengembangan Thiagarajan, S, Semmeln,D,S, & Semmel M.I (1974) yaitu 4-D. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar angket para ahli, lembar penilaian pengamatan berhitung penjumlahan, dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan diperoleh persentase validasi ahli media sebesar (93%) termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak, validasi ahli materi diperoleh sebesar (86%) termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Uji kepraktisan menurut pengguna diperoleh sebesar (88%) termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Hasil uji keefektifan menunjukkan hasil gain score 0,8 dengan kategori tinggi. Artinya buku panduan ini efektif digunakan orang tua untuk membimbing anak tunagrahita belajar berhitung penjumlahan. Kata Kunci: buku panduan, matematika, orang tua anak tunagrahita.

Abstract

One of the deaf students disorders in mathematics lesson was their understanding toward the material of the concept of multiplication of numbers count mathematics so that it had less good impact to learning mathematics result. Based on the problem, this research applied cooperative learning of Think Pair Share (TPS) type with the purpose to analyze the influence of cooperative model of TPS type toward learning the concept of multiplication of numbers count mathematics result to hearing impairment students before and after going treatment.The approach used was quantitative with pre-experiment kind and the design was one group pretest-posttest design. The data was collected by test method, observation, and documentation.The results of data analysis, shows that the use of implementation influence of cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share (TPS) type approach significantly to learning the concept of multiplication of numbers count mathematics result to deaf students in SLB-B Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo.Keywords:Think Pair Share (TPS), learning mathematics result, Deaf

Abstract

Developing Ularmatika Media in Teaching Two Dimensional Figure For Third Grade of Students with Hearing Impairment in the Elementary Special Education. The purposeof this researchis to develop a game media of mathematics on twodimensional figure materials for third grade students with hearing impairment in elementary special education. The results, the media is well-used and can improve studentss performance. It is shown from the percentage of the average revenue validation expert reached 85,99% with qualifying very valid and the percentage of the average appraisement try out questionnaires reached 87,5% with qualifying very valid.

Abstract

Children with slow learning problem or a slow learner are those who have low learning achievement or slightly below average of children in general. Today, the children slowly learn many encountered not only in school inclusion, but in regular schools too. Teachers who do not have adequate experience will find it difficult to deal with in the classroom. So the goal of this research is to find appropriate learning strategies for slow learners in elementary school.

Abstract

Every family wants all members of the family can grow and develop normally, especially children, but sometimes can not be obtained by families who have a child born with retardation mental. They feel that children with disabilities / mental retardation is a family disgrace, it is because of ignorance of families with children with mental retardation and problems the lack of information obtained. Some 15 % of the Inhabiting number of the world, or approximately the as many as one billion people, is people with disability.  Based on random survey conducted by the ministry of social affairs  of Indonesia in 1978 the population of disabled people is 3,11 % of the population in Indonesia. While the who data in 2004  estimated that the population of disabled people 10 percent of the total population of Indonesia. Data collection about the total number of voters and the population data collection about the total number of voters  of disabled people in 2004 general  election which conveyed by the central bureau of Statistics Government, based on survey 309.146 as many as a blind person around, 192. 207 deaf, 178.870 mentally retardation 94.423 defect  and other.  The data are still need the data collection system that carefull, it impeded because of factors; ignorance family and community to the issue of disability, culture of family, the stigma of the community, isolation from family, over protected, discrimination, low priority support This study aimed to get an overview of family support in the care of mentally retarded children at SLB (Special Need Education) Padangsidimpuan, Indonesia. This study used a descriptive design, samples were taken with total sampling method ( group samples are 100 family with mentally retardation and 49 children with mental retardation) and instruments used in the form of a questionnaire. Data processed by the system computerization in the frequency distribution table and percentages. Data collection was conducted on 12 July until 30 July 2011. Test reliability This research at 0.7245 by using kr 21. From research obtained good results family support as many (74%), which consists of support information (72%), support of assessment (81%), instrumental support (67%), and emotional support (74%). Family support is very important in caring for retarded children, and to increase the sense of self confidence retarded child mental. The results of this study are expected to assist nurses in providing information on family support in caring for children mental retardation.

Abstract

The Development of Braille Puzzle Media for Increasing The Ability of Reading and Writing for Children With Visual Impairment of 4th Grade In Elementary Special Education. The purpose of this research is developping a media that can be used to increase the reading and writing ability of child with visual impairment on fourth grade in elementary special education. This research was adapted by steps of Sugiyonos model consisting of eight steps. The result of media experts 88% , matter experts 90%, practicy experts 82%, small group testing 82%. Abstract

Salah satu kompetensi yang wajib dimiliki kepala sekolah adalah kewirausahaan. Lemahnya kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah binaan berdampak pada pengelolaan lulusannya yang tidak mencapai target seperti yang diharapkan. Pola pengelolaan lulusan di sekolah binaan selama ini terhenti pada output saja. Hal ini terbukti dari data penelusuran lulusan dari tahun 2009-2014 disekolah binaan, 81% lulusannya menganggur. Permasalahan tersebut  penulis atasi  dengan bekal pengalaman dan jaringan kerja lintas sektor dengan melibatkan peran dunia usaha, dan industri. Strategi yang di gunakan nyata dan terukur, dengan contoh-contoh yang telah dirasakan keberhasilannya. Kondisi yang belum sesuai harapan  penulis atasi dengan upaya pembinaan kompetensi kepala sekolah, melalui strategi transformasi pengalaman diri. Melalui strategi tersebut, penulis menularkan pengalamannya, membimbing kepala sekolah  mengubah pola pengelolaan lulusan, yang tidak berhenti pada out put saja, tetapi dilanjutkan dengan program penyaluran sampai lulusannya mampu mandiri. Caranya dengan pendampingan dan fasilitasi, serta bimbingan, baik kelompok maupun individu. Kepala sekolah dilibatkan dalam praktek  mendayagunakan peran serta masyarakat, belajar berkolaborasi membangun jaringan kerja lintas sektor, melalui kunjungan lapangan keberbagai dinas/intansi terkait. Langkah-langkahnya  diawali dengan persiapan, studi lapangan mengunjungi beberapa perusahaan, promosi, dan koordinasi, penyaluran, serta monitoring dan tindak lanjut. Tingkat keberhasilan strategi terlihat pada adanya perubahan pola pengelolaan sekolah, yaitu: (1) kepala sekolah binaan mampu menyusun program dan tim penanganan lulusan, (2) peserta didik disiapkan secara lebih terarah pada kebutuhan dunia kerja, (3) dalam waktu 3 tahun 71,% lulusan berhasil di salurkan  di empat perusahaan, ( 4) kepala sekolah mampu mengubah lulusan dari tiga demensi berkarakter, kreatif, dan produktif, menjadi lulusan dengan empat dimensi yaitu, berkarakter, kreatif, dan produktif, serta mandiri di masyarakat. Dampaknya antara lain, (1) citra sekolah meningkat, dua sekolah binaan dalam akreditasi mendapat predikat A, ( 2) para pihak merasa bangga lulusannya berhasil, ( 3) stigma yang kurang baik pada lulusan berangsur berubah kearah yang positif oleh karena dengan memiliki pekerjaan lulusan berpenghasilan layak mampu hidup mandiri di masyarakat
