Abstract

Kandayas Furniture is one of the companies engaged in manufacturing tables. The table production process goes through several stages. Based on field observations and interviews that have been conducted, problems arise from the company's production process. The problem exists in the assembly process because many products are waiting, so there is a buildup in the assembly process of the table. The buildup occurs because the assembly process to the finished material warehouse has a considerable distance difference. This resulted in an ineffective production process. Then, in Promodel Now the movement of each work station still uses human labor which results in delays in the production process. From this problem, it is obtained that the process flow changes are more structured, the material handling distance from assembly to finished goods is shorter because there are changes in the lay out that we propose and make material handling time more efficient, using handlift conveyance in each flow, adding assembly operators due to bottlenecks in assembly due to the paint drying process, using a paint oven machine for drying paint to shorten the time and reduce the accumulation of goods, and implementing K3 according to the SOP so that employees avoid work accidents. Abstract

Queuing problems in everyday life can hinder the smooth running of activities in terms of time. With queues, the time to get service will be longer. If this problem is not resolved it will have an impact on users of the related services. XY gas station is one of the gas stations that is quite busy with two-wheeled users. The research method used in this case was direct observation at SPBU XY and interviews. The data in this research was obtained at SPBU carried out for 3 hours, namely from 09.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB. With the method used, namely maximin and minimax in game theory, to find out in terms of the advantages of Pertalite and Pertamax, the saddle point in the pay off matrix is known, namely it lies in price and quality because the saddle point value obtained is the same, namely 27. So it can be said that this calculation is optimal. Because the value obtained is optimal and has a saddle point, the type of game theory used is pure strategy. Knowing that the customer strategy results are that Pertalite wins the price strategy, while Pertamax wins the quality strategy. Keywords: Game theory, Queuing, SPBU

Abstract

In the industrial era 4.0, most of the production processes use automatic machines. However, not a few companies still carry out their production processes manually, for this reason it is necessary to carry out an analysis of the value of effectiveness and efficiency between the workforce and also the machines so that production runs well 0020GHIn writing this data and information obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. This research uses descriptive method using a quantitative approach. Effective capacity of labor 1515.2. Whereas the effective capacity of the extruder machine is 378.8, the labor factor has not yet shown the maximum figure because it has not reached 100%. This can be seen from the average efficiency which only reaches 25%, while the efficiency of using extruder machines is maximized with the results of calculating an average efficiency of 100% per month, suggestions that explain the efficiency of the use of labor and machines. The results of the author's research at PT. QRS revealed that the condition of the low level of efficiency in the labor factor needs to be reviewed regarding the operation of the extruder machine which is still manual for the input of production raw materials. The efficiency of using the extruder machine at PT.QRS is already very good, it's just a matter of maintaining it. Keywords: Effectiveness and efficiency, production factors, Polyester fiber.
