Abstract

A warehouse is a place used to store and store goods owned by a company. There are many activities carried out in the warehouse, starting from the goods data collection process to the goods management process. PT. PKC  is not yet optimal and there are still several problems such as a poor management system and irregular spare parts delivery scheduling. Therefore, the 5S method is needed so that warehouse management can be better and more efficient. There is the  5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu & Shitsuke) which is a management approach to organizing, cleaning, and maintaining an efficient, orderly, and productive work environment. The results of evaluation of 5S implementation in PT warehouse. PKC The assessment of the implementation of Seiri is included in a good classification with a score of 62%, the assessment of the implementation of Seiton is also in a good classification with a score of 67%, the assessment for the implementation of Seiso, is classified as good with a score of 74%, while the assessment for Seiketsu is in a reasonable classification with a score of 50%, and the assessment for the implementation of Shitsuke is categorized as sufficient with a score of 50%. Abstract

Service quality assessment is influenced by the perceptions and expectations of each customer which has an impact on customer satisfaction. PT SJKM is a service company for the sale of motorbikes, spare parts, and official motorcycle repairs from Yamaha. The number of complaints from customers about the company's services has resulted in a decrease in the number of customers, thus affecting the company's revenue. From these problems, this research was conducted to identify the company's service quality attributes by looking at the gap between customer perceptions and expectations, identifying service attributes that are in the critical category, and providing suggestions for improving company services. This research uses the SERVQUAL method to evaluate customer satisfaction from 33 service attributes. Furthermore, the QFD method to design improvement solutions for service attributes that are the main priority for improvement from the results of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) analysis.  According to the research findings, there are 7 service attributes that are perceived negatively by customers, indicating their dissatisfaction. Out of the 6 service attributes that need improvement, dealer security is identified as the top priority and will be addressed first using the QFD method. Abstract

One of the companies in the Cilegon area engaged in the construction industry has a high level of work risk. This company is required to implement an Occupational Safety and Health program to prevent workplace accidents.". Risk identification and assessment in this company has not used the HIRARC method as a basis for mitigation. This aims to identify the risk of work accidents, assess the risks, and recommend control measures. Based on the results of the data processing that has been carried out, the results show a low-risk risk value with a percentage of 0%, a moderate risk value with a percentage of 36%, a high-risk value with a percentage of 64%, and an extreme risk value with a percentage of 0%. Abstract

Measurement of productivity in the Diskominfo Kaltim data center is crucial for several reasons. One of these reasons is the significant energy consumption associated with data centers. Furthermore, there has been no prior measurement of productivity in the Diskominfo Kaltim data center. In efforts to measure and analyze data center productivity, the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method can assist in identifying factors influencing productivity improvement. Besides utilizing the OMAX method for productivity measurement, the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method is employed for weighting. ANP can accommodate the interdependencies among criteria and sub-criteria. In August 2023, a performance indicator of -47.48% was obtained, indicating a decrease in productivity by 47.48% compared to the standard performance. In September 2023, the performance indicator was 23.342%, signifying an increase in productivity by 23.342% compared to the standard performance. In October 2023, the performance indicator was 127.809%, indicating a significant increase in productivity by 127.809% compared to the standard performance. Abstract

Predictions or forecasting are important parameters in determining policy that will be implemented in the future. The higher the population of a country, the more it will affect the balance of that country. This research aims to predict the national population using the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach. The sample for this research is population data for each province obtained from the National Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data is iterated from 2011 to 2022. The approach method uses backpropagation Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). The architectural model is determined with 2 hidden layers and 1 output, namely 5-20-10-1 with learning rate variations of 0.01, 0.02, and 0.03. ANN prediction results are able to predict the national population. The success of the three models shows that the ANN model with a Learning rate of 0.01 has the highest accuracy level of 96.9697, equivalent to 97%. This is proven by the model's success in predicting 32 out of 33 data samples with a time duration of 117 seconds. The prediction results showed that the highest population numbers were in three provinces, namely Central Java, West Java, and East Java. Meanwhile, the lowest population is in West Papua province. Abstract

The development of an innovative corn fertilizer tool as an improvement on an existing concept that has been widely socialized in the farming community aims to design a fertilizer spreader tool that suits farmers' needs, with a simple technological concept, a working principle that is easy to operate and a product form that is easy to carry, and can be commercialized and is a development of previous concepts as the aim of the research carried out. Using the French method because it is considered easier to meet data needs. The design results obtained are an improvement on the research concept of previous researchers which improved the capacity where the old fertilizer tool was only able to accommodate approximately 2 Kg of fertilizer, with the new design it can accommodate 15 Kg of fertilizer, the tip of the lever is designed to be pointed so that the fertilizer enters the surface more easily. soil, while tool rods made from stainless steel can provide strength to the tool, they do not rust easily if they come into contact with water or fertilizer (chemicals) so they last a long time. Abstract

Sriwijaya Motor is a motorbike repair shop that provides motorbike services, tune ups, bore ups, and also sells various motorbike spare parts. Working conditions that threaten the safety and health of employees are considered dangerous. Fatigue or problems with the musculoskeletal system or muscles, such as body aches during work or after work, and muscle aches, are signs of danger to worker safety and health. As work is performed in inappropriate postures repeatedly, employees complain about inappropriate work postures. Most of the work is done manually, violating ergonomic rules. This research aims to determine employee work posture using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method. The results show that one of the employees from Sriwijaya Motor who was evaluated using the RULA method got a final score of 4, this shows that their attitude towards their work is in the low risk category, only action is needed to improve their work position in the future. Abstract

Nobel Jaya Mandiri is a company engaged in hearing labs and sales of assistive devices under the brand name Nobel Audiology which has 32 branches throughout Indonesia, one of which is located in Surabaya. Currently, the company plans to open another new branch in the Surabaya area to provide optimal service. In 2023, there will be 793 new customers domiciled in Surabaya, meaning that 0.03% of Surabaya people experience hearing problems. Therefore PT. Nobel Jaya Mandiri will improve location services by calculating using the center of gravity method, ranking procedure, investment analysis, and risk management. The candidate for the new branch is RS. Mayapada Surabaya(18.793.8 Km ,Rp.131.178.600) investment cost Rp. 52.473.000 with high risk. Mitra Keluarga Satelit Surabaya Hospital (21,602.7 km, Rp.151,218,900) investment cost Rp.28,473,000 with high risk and Ruka in VBM area (18,735.6 km, Rp.131,149.200) investment cost Rp. 137,473,000 with low risk. so the company chose Ruko Villa Bukit Mas because of the consideration of good center of gravity results with a large enough investment but minimal risk. Abstract

In an era of globalization and tight competition, efficiency and operational efficiency are crucial to the success of companies, especially in supply chain management. Logistical distribution is a key element that ensures smooth flow of goods to the end consumer. PT.XX is a company in the fields of construction, logistics, and storage tanks, facing various operational challenges. The challenges include the company's transportation constraints, delays in the delivery of raw materials from vendors, as well as inadequate production facilities for heavy goods. To address these challenges, PT.XX needs to implement comprehensive and responsive logistical distribution strategies needed to improve the efficiency and efficiency of distribution, which supports the sustainable growth of the company. The study uses descriptive approaches and analysis of fishbone diagrams to provide a clear picture of the problems faced by PT. XX and measurable practical solutions. The results of this research are expected to improve the transportation system, the quality of the delivery of raw materials, and prepare an adequate production area for large-scale goods, so that operations run smoothly. Abstract

Sambal is one of the favorite foods as an accompaniment to meals for Indonesian people, not only parents but the millennial generation and Generation Z also like chili food. The aim of this research is to design ergonomic chili packaging for the millennial generation and Generation Z. The method used in this research uses the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method by considering consumer aspects. The research results show that the first priority for improvement is redesigning the label on the product. The second priority is providing a seal (aluminum foil) on the packaging to ensure the hygiene and durability of the chili sauce. The third priority is that the chili bottle uses a thicker plastic material to make it sturdy. The fourth priority is changing the chili brand design by adding a chili logo to make it more attractive and bold in describing the product. The fifth priority is to make the chili packaging bottles more oval so that the shape is more ergonomic and easier to hold. The sixth priority is to add a small spoon to every product purchased because usually this packaged chili sauce is used for food outside the home. The seventh priority is increasing the capacity of chili sauce, which previously weighed 100 grams to 150 grams. Keywords: Generation Z, Millennial Generation, QFD, Sambal Packaging
