Abstract

Writing fiction is one of the basic competences of writing skill contained in curriculum 2013 for elementary level. Analysis result found that in the fourth grade material of theme 4 about various work in teaching materials have not shown local advantage in student area. Educators should be able to develop teaching materials that are able to overcome the limitations of fictional story-writing books adapted to local excellence. The development of teaching materials for fiction-based stories of local excellence using Research and Development (R & D) models is able to produce a fictional resource based on local excellence that is effectively used as a resource development book.

Abstract

One of the four language skills that must be mastered by students is writing skills. But in fact the skills of these students are still low. The results of the assessment of learning writing skills, especially writing the narrative text is still low, less than KKM that has been set at 75. This study aims to find out how is the implementation of learning with CIRC model to improve the skills of writing narrative in IX D SMP Negeri 7 Pati Odd Semester Year 2017/2018 and to find out whether the skills of writing the narrative of class IX D SMP 7 Pati Odd Semester Year 2017/2018 can be improved through learning by CIRC model. This research is a classroom action research designed with 2 cycles. The results showed that after the implementation of the second cycle. It was increased to 78. The value of learning implementation is 87. Based on research results analysis, it was concluded that the implementation of learning with CIRC model to improve the skills of writing narrative in IX D SMP Negeri 7 Pati Odd Semester Year 2017/2018 goes well and the skills of writing the narrative of IX SMP Negeri 7 Pati in Odd Semester Year 2017/2018 can be improved through learning with CIRC model.

Abstract

The background of congregation prayer habituation strategy in the students originated from the existence of internal school activities in which students perform the habit of duhur prayer in congregation. However, in its implementation does not always run according to the school procedure because the place to do the congregation prayer has not existed and there is no clear assertiveness from the school related to the implementation of congregation prayer to be implemented. And there is no strategy in the implementation of congregation prayer. This study aims to provide an overview of the strategy of congregation prayer in students at MI Ma’arif NU 01 Pasir Kulon. This study type research is using field research that is descriptive qualitative that the authors do direct research in the field to obtain data or information directly by visiting the location of respondents. Data collecting techniques were conducted using observation, interview, questionnaire, documentation and combined techniques. The purpose of this type of research is descriptive research because it is intended to analyze and present the actual situation occurred in the location of research on the habit of congregation prayer in MI Ma’arif NU 01 Pasir Kulon. As a result of this research is strategy of habitual congregation prayer to students at MI Ma’arif NU 01 Pasir Kulon is: The existence of praying duhur prayer in continuously, principal, teachers and employees overseeing activities of praying duhur congregation has been scheduled, routine oral suggestion at the ceremony and additional hours of special religious lessons, direct control to the classes and around the school building for students who do not pray, and give warning to students who not do congregation prayer in congregation. And the existence of several supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the process of implementation of congregation prayer.

Abstract

The understanding of educators or facilitators in dealing with adults as students in the development of adult psychological conditions of course has its own significance. Understanding of such adult psychological conditions grew in a theory known as andragogy. Andragogy is a science that has a broad and deep dimension of learning theory and in how to teach adults. In learning, adults have a characteristic, principles and conditions in learning, from experience and awareness of their needs in learning, so as not to feel compelled in learning and in accordance with the needs and problems faced, so that, learning is sourced and oriented with the problem. The more mature a person is, the more matures of his academically or biologically according to life experience and the length of time travel. Some of the tasks done in Adult education, are teachers as facilitators, program developers (Developer Programs), managers (Administration) and as counselors (Counselors). Learning should be a need and awareness of the importance of science, motivation and responsibility as an adult capable of responsibility, and can develop itself and take an active role in the community environment. In order to the process of learning activities to take place effectively and efficiently, adult learning theory is not only known, but must be applicable in every teaching and learning activities and enhance the spirit of both formal and non formal learning activities.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research was carried out starting from problem which writer face in the process of learning mathematics that is lack of ability of student in learning of measurement, so student interest in learning less and only part of student who able to reach KKM. The KKM of Mathematics subjects is 65. The purpose is to carry out the PTK that the authors report is to improve students’ abilities in learning measurements on mathematics subjects. The ability of the students appears in the interest and learning activities and student learning outcomes. The author tries to solve the problems encountered by applying the model of learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) in implementing the learning process, arguing that NHT or shared thinking numbers apply cooperative learning types designed to influence student interaction patterns and as an alternative to traditional classroom structures. Each round consists of four stages: design, activity and observation, reflection and revision. The research target is the students of grade V SDN 01 Mulyo in the academic year 2017 / 2018. From the analysis result got that the student’s learning achievement has increased from start of pre cycle, cycle 1, cycle 2 until cycle 3, following percentage of mastery for six meeting of 26 students starting from pre cycle: 44, 36%; 53.85%; 57.69%; 69.23%; 76.92%; 88.46%; 92.31%. The conclusion of this research is that the application of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model can increase learning activity of mathematics of grade V SDN 01Mulyo Gunung Labuhan Subdistrict of Way Kanan Regency.

Abstract

Academic supervision by the principal is a necessity in order to maintain the quality of education in the school. One school that according to the researchers has a good quality of education is SMP N 1 Rembang Purbalingga. The aims of the study are describe and analyze: planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up of evaluation results, constraints and impacts of academic supervision.This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis is carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.The results of this study can be concluded as follows: 1) The academic supervision plans are cooperative, creative, comprehensive, flexible and sustainable, 2) Implementation of online academic supervision activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Academic supervision can overcome the difficulties of teachers in carrying out the learning process, 3) Evaluation of the results of academic supervision is conveyed directly, personally and followed up by the teacher by improving learning. Schools make an effort to improve pedagogical competence through peer tutors, education and training, guidance and IHT, 4) there are no problems in the implementation of academic supervision, and 5) The implementation of academic supervision can improve teacher pedagogical competence, especially in the use of learning media and understanding the character of students.In order to be more optimal, according to teacher researchers, they should be more proactive and responsive with academic supervision activities in their schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that the values of Pancasila character in schools are starting to fade. Evidenced by the many cases of juvenile delinquency, student bullying, lack of discipline and responsibility, and drugs. Schools as educational institutions are expected to be agents of change for students. The teacher is a figure who is always digested and imitated by students. The role of the teacher as a role model and motivator has a big role in student reception. The results of the study proved that there was an improvement in conditions before and after the study. These objectives are: (1) To describe the role of classroom teachers in student personality research at SDN 3 Kebutuhduwur, Pagedongan District, Banjarnegara. (2) To describe how to apply the values of Pancasila characters to personality traits in SDN 3 Kebutuhduwur, Pagedongan District, Banjarnegara. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results show that the role of classroom teachers in the application of the character values of Pancasila can increase the sense of discipline and responsibility towards their duties.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design a work culture-based character education model in vocational high schools. This study uses a research and development design from Borg and Gall. Researchers use research and development at the first level where researchers conduct research to produce designs. The research begins with a preliminary study and needs analysis to design a work culture-based character education model through interviews and observations to SMK PGRI 1 Taman, SMK PGRI 3 Randudongkal and related industries. The research results found a factual model of character education which in its implementation has not been specifically adjusted to the value of work character. This model includes planning, organizing, implementing and supervising character education in Vocational High Schools. The findings in the field show that it is necessary to integrate between components in planning, organizing, implementing and supervising work culture-based character education in vocational high schools. The factual results were developed into a work culture-based character education model design in Vocational High Schools. The results of the model design are assessed and validated by educational experts and assessed by education practitioners through Focus Group Disscussion (FGD). The results of the assessment and validation by educational experts obtained a score of 54 out of the maximum score of 56, so a percentage of 96.43% was obtained, so if the value calculation and validation were classified based on the rating scale, qualitative criteria were obtained with the result "Very Feasible". Obtained scores from education practitioners with a total score of 129 from the maximum score of 140, so that the percentage of 92.14% is obtained, so if the value calculation is classified based on the rating scale, a qualitative criterion is obtained with the result "Very Feasible" and the design is ready for field testing.

Abstract

There are various learning problems faced by teachers in schools, including the problem of decreasing student responsibility in completing their learning tasks. Responding to this certainly requires serious efforts to solve this problem immediately. To solve this problem of decreasing responsibility, students must use certain strategies or methods and approaches. Methods that are considered very appropriate, one of which is the active learning method of the team quiz. With the Team Quiz method, it is hoped that the responsibility of students in the study group can increase.
