Abstract

This program is present as a form of PLN's social concern for underprivileged people who do not have independent access to electricity. This research is motivated by the importance of effective communication management in the implementation of CSR programs in order to be able to build public understanding, minimize social misunderstandings, and strengthen the company's image in the eyes of the public. This research uses Communication Management Theory which emphasizes the process of planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling communication in achieving organizational goals. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a communication management approach. Data were obtained through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of the Public Relations of PT PLN (Persero) UID S2JB and the community receiving assistance from the Light Up The Dream program. The data analysis technique uses thematic analysis through the process of grouping themes, interpreting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Public Relations communication management is carried out through the stages of planning and implementing communication in a structured manner. Public Relations conducts internal coordination, preparation of communication messages, the use of digital media, mass media publications, and direct communication with the public and stakeholders. This program also implements two-way communication through interaction and response of the beneficiary community. In addition, there are several obstacles such as a lack of public understanding of the assistance mechanism and the potential for social jealousy. However, these obstacles are overcome through coordination with village officials, persuasive approaches, and more open publications. The Light Up The Dream program is considered to be able to strengthen the company's branding by forming a positive image of PLN as a company that cares about the underprivileged.

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women is still a public health problem that can increase the risk of anemia and low birth weight babies (BBLR). The incidence of KEK is influenced by various factors such as healthy nutritional behavior, number of family members, Antenatal Care (ANC) visits, husband support, compliance with Fe consumption and maternal age. This study aims to determine the determinants of the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (SEZ) in pregnant women at the Central City Health Center. This study uses an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional design. The research was carried out from January 29 to February 19, 2026 with a sample of 43 respondents. Sampling technique uses accidental sampling method. The research instrument uses a questionnaire that has been tested for Validity and Reliability. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using the Chi-square test with the value of . The results of the study showed that as many as 39.5% of respondents experienced SEZ incidents and 60.5% did not experience SEZs. There was no association between the number of family members (=0.850), Antenatal Care (ANC) visits (=0.281), and maternal age (=0.151) with the incidence of SEZs. However, there was a relationship between healthy nutritional behavior (=0.000), husband support (=0.000), and compliance with Fe consumption (=0.001) with the incidence of KEK in pregnant women. The conclusion of the study showed that healthy nutritional behavior, husband support, and compliance with Fe consumption were related to the incidence of KEK in pregnant women, while the number of family members, ANC visits, and maternal age were not related to the incidence of KEK in pregnant women at the Central city health center. It is recommended that health workers improve nutrition education, monitor Fe consumption, and involve families, especially husbands, in efforts to prevent KEK in pregnant women.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a blackout incident in the work area of PT PLN (Persero) UID S2JB which triggered various negative public complaints on social media and had the potential to reduce public trust in the company. Blackouts are not only a technical nuisance, but also develop into a communication crisis because the public needs fast, clear, and transparent information regarding the cause of the outage and the power restoration process. This study aims to find out the crisis communication strategy of PT PLN UID S2JB in handling complaints about blackout incidents and analyze how negative complaints can trigger a crisis of public trust. This study uses the Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT) theory from W. Timothy Coombs with a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informant came from the public relations of PT PLN UID S2JB who was directly involved in handling the blackout crisis communication. The results of the study show that the crisis communication strategy of PT PLN UID S2JB is carried out through the pre-crisis, during crisis, and post-crisis phases. In the crisis phase, the company conveys blackout information through social media, regional stakeholders, and field service units and conducts social media sweeping to monitor public opinion. In the post-crisis phase, the company conducts network evaluation and maintenance as an effort to restore public trust. This research also shows that negative public complaints can develop into a crisis of public trust due to unclear information, delayed communication responses, and the development of negative opinions on social media. Therefore, crisis communication not only functions as an information delivery, but also plays an important role in maintaining the reputation and public trust in PT PLN (Persero) UID S2JB.

Abstract

Background: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive and irreversible impaired kidney function, causing various health problems such as urinary elimination disorders, hypervolemia, electrolyte imbalance, and an increased risk of infection. Patients with late-stage CKD generally require hemodialysis therapy to maintain body function and prevent further complications. Objective: To describe the implementation of nursing care in patients with urinary system disorders due to Chronic Kidney Disease undergoing hemodialysis therapy. Methods: Case studies with a nursing process approach that includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of the study is Mrs. R, a stage V CKD patient who is undergoing treatment in the inpatient room of Royal Prima Medan Hospital in 2026. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, physical examinations, and medical record documentation studies. Results: The results of the study showed that the patient had severe oliguria (±100 ml/24 hours), edema in both legs, hypertension, increased urea and creatinine levels, and electrolyte balance disorders. Established nursing diagnoses include urinary elimination disorders, hypervolemia, risk of electrolyte imbalance, and risk of infection. The implementation of nursing was carried out for three days through monitoring fluid status, urine elimination, electrolyte balance, infection prevention, fluid restriction education, low-potassium diet, and hemodialysis therapy collaboration. Evaluation showed that there was an improvement in the patient's condition characterized by reduced edema, more stable blood pressure, decreased potassium levels, and no signs of infection in hemodialysis vascular access. Conclusion: Comprehensive nursing care for CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis is able to help control fluid and electrolyte balance, reduce symptoms of hypervolemia, improve patient understanding of the disease, and prevent complications during treatment.

Abstract

This study was to analyze the influence of religiosity, academic pressure, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) on academic fraud in accounting students. In addition, this study also investigated the role of moral reasoning as a mediating factor. This study conducted a survey of 86 active students of the Accounting Study Program, Tadulako University. WarpPLS is used to analyze data to evaluate direct or indirect influences. The results showed that religiosity and the use of AI had a significant influence on moral reasoning, while academic pressure had no significant influence. Other findings suggest that religiosity, the use of AI, and academic pressure have a direct influence on academic fraud. Moral reasoning has been shown to reduce students' tendency to behave cheating, but it only serves as a mediator between religiosity and academics. In contrast, academic pressure and the use of AI tend to encourage cheating behavior when it is not accompanied by moral awareness and self-control. This condition shows that external elements and technological convenience continue to be the main cause of academic violations, especially in the context of the demands of learning in the era of technology 5.0. The results show that strengthening religiosity, managing academic pressure, and instilling moral values are essential to prevent cheating on campus.
