The results show that Akidah Akhlak teachers play a central role in developing students' spiritual intelligence through well-structured and systematic religious activities such as congregational prayers, Qur'anic recitation (tadarus), group remembrance (dzikir), short religious sermons (kultum), and Islamic boarding programs (pesantren).). The religious culture established at the school is not merely symbolic, but has become a routine practice that shapes students' daily attitudes and behaviors. Values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and social awareness have gradually become integrated into students' character. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including lack of discipline and negative external influences. In conclusion, the efforts of Akidah Akhlak teachers through religious cultural approaches have proven to be effective in holistically and sustainably enhancing students' spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

In adolescence, a person experiences rapid development both physically, psychologically and socially. The most noticeable changes are physical changes that occur naturally and sometimes adolescents are unaware of these changes. Changes in puberty are related to the maturity of the reproductive organs, physical and sexual maturity, one of which is the development of secondary sex, but many adolescents do not know about the development of secondary sex, therefore, there is a need to make efforts to increase adolescent knowledge, one of which is by providing education. Abstract

Judicial activism exercised by the Constitutional Court of Indonesia has become a prominent and contested phenomenon in the development of Indonesian constitutional law. This form of judicial behavior arises when the Court, in performing its authority to review statutes against the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, goes beyond annulling legal provisions and adopts progressive constitutional interpretations that effectively generate new normative frameworks. Such practices have sparked scholarly debate regarding the limits of judicial authority within the constitutional system based on the separation of powers. On one hand, judicial activism is regarded as a legitimate constitutional mechanism to safeguard human rights and citizens’ constitutional entitlements, particularly in situations where the legislature fails to adequately address demands for justice. On the other hand, excessive judicial intervention is criticized for potentially exceeding the Court’s role as a negative legislator and for creating imbalances in the relationship among state institutions. This study aims to examine the concept of judicial activism within Indonesia’s constitutional framework, analyze the constitutional basis of the Constitutional Court’s authority in judicial review, and explore how judicial activism is reflected in several landmark and progressive Constitutional Court decisions. The research employs a normative legal method using statutory, conceptual, and case-based approaches. The data are obtained through an extensive review of legislation, legal doctrines, and relevant national legal journals. The findings indicate that judicial activism practiced by the Constitutional Court plays a crucial role in strengthening constitutional supremacy and enhancing the protection of citizens’ constitutional rights. Nevertheless, such judicial activism must be exercised with due restraint and proportionality in order to prevent judicial overreach that could undermine the principle of checks and balances in a democratic state governed by the rule of law.

The level of knowledge of mothers in stunting prevention was mostly in the good category, namely 57 respondents (62.0%), followed by the sufficient category of 29 respondents (31.5%) and the category of less than 6 respondents (6.5%). Meanwhile, maternal behavior in stunting prevention was also dominated by the good category of 50 respondents (54.3%), the sufficient category of 33 respondents (35.9%), and the poor category of 9 respondents (9.8%). The conclusion of this study shows that most mothers already have good knowledge and behavior in stunting prevention, but there are still a small number of mothers with less knowledge and behavior, so continuous education and mentoring are needed.

Abstract

Judicial review constitutes a fundamental legal mechanism within the Pancasila-based rule of law, particularly in safeguarding constitutional supremacy and protecting the fundamental rights of citizens. Through judicial review, the state ensures that legislative and regulatory frameworks remain consistent with the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia as well as the foundational values of Pancasila. In this regard, judicial review functions not merely as a formal process of legal norm assessment, but also as a substantive instrument for preserving humanitarian and moral values aligned with the concept of maq??id al-shar?‘ah, especially ?if? al-d?n (protection of religious freedom) and ?if? al-nafs (protection of human life). This article aims to examine the role of judicial review as a mechanism for safeguarding freedom of religion and the right to life within the framework of Indonesia’s Pancasila-based legal system. The analysis focuses on how the Constitutional Court, through its authority to review legislation, contributes to maintaining a balance between state interests, constitutional principles, and human rights protection. The research employs a normative juridical approach by analyzing statutory regulations, Constitutional Court decisions, and relevant legal literature from both positive law perspectives and maq??id al-shar?‘ah theory. The findings indicate that judicial review holds significant relevance in advancing the protection of ?if? al-d?n and ?if? al-nafs, as it enables the correction of legal norms that potentially threaten religious freedom and the preservation of human life. Therefore, judicial review serves not only as a formal constitutional instrument but also as a substantive means of upholding justice, human dignity, and Pancasila values within the national legal system.

Abstract

The perception of gender stereotypes is still an issue inherent in the nursing profession, especially for male nursing students. The view that nursing is an identical profession to women can influence the interest of male students in planning and determining a career in nursing. This study aims to determine the relationship between the perception of gender stereotypes and the career interests of male nursing students at Gorontalo State University. This study uses a correlational analytical design with a cross sectional approach. The research sample amounted to 76 male nursing students who were taken using the total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires on the perception of gender stereotypes and career interests, while data analysis used the Spearman Rank test. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of gender stereotypes as many as 60 respondents (78.9%), and career interest was in the high category as many as 40 respondents (52.6%). The results of the Spearman Rank test obtained a p-value = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which shows that there is a relationship between the perception of gender stereotypes and interest in a career as a nurse in male nursing students at Gorontalo State University. So based on the results of this study, it is hoped that the campus, especially the nursing department, can increase education and support efforts to build a positive perception of the nursing profession in male students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of agrarian conflict between the communities of Desa Sebubus and Air Kumbang Bakti and PT. Andira Agro Tbk, as well as to examine the community's efforts to seek agrarian justice. The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and document studies to collect data from various stakeholders involved in the conflict. The theoretical framework includes Wiradi Gunawan's agrarian conflict theory, emphasizing structural inequalities in land ownership between large corporations and local communities, and Sajogyo's socio-economic agrarian theory, which explains agrarian conflict as a result of imbalanced social relations and the shift of land functions from social purposes to dominant economic commodities. Findings reveal significant disparities in land control, where PT. Andira Agro Tbk holds extensive core plantation land while the community struggles to access their rightful plasma land. The company's failure to comply with the obligation to provide at least 20% plasma land as mandated by Plantation Law No. 39 of 2014 highlights structural injustice as the root cause of the conflict. Furthermore, unclear regulations, weak legal protection for indigenous land rights, and criminalization of residents attempting to defend their rights exacerbate the conflict. The study comprehensively portrays the social, economic, and legal aspects underlying the conflict and describes ongoing efforts toward resolution by involved parties.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Pemuda Pancasila as an interest group within the context of transactional politics in the 2024 Palembang mayoral and vice-mayoral election. The research focuses on how Pemuda Pancasila, as a mass-based organization with an extensive network, strategically contributed to the local political contest, particularly in supporting a specific candidate pair through patron-client dynamics. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with key figures of Pemuda Pancasila in Palembang, and documentation from both primary and secondary sources. This research uses interest group theory, focusing on non-associational and resource-based indicators to examine the organization's involvement in local political dynamics. The findings reveal that Pemuda Pancasila actively participated in the 2024 Palembang election by supporting the Ratu Dewa–Prima Salam candidate pair. This support was not solely based on material transactions but was also influenced by organizational loyalty, personal relationships, and internal cadre consolidation. Pancasila Youth mobilized supporters, built strategic alliances, and leveraged its structured organization to reinforce its political stance. Moreover, resources such as membership strength, structural networks, and organizational facilities played a crucial role in enhancing the group's bargaining power in the local political arena. In conclusion, Pemuda Pancasila played a strategic role as an interest group in the transactional politics of the 2024 Palembang mayoral election. This role was demonstrated through mobilization efforts, loyalty-based political support, and effective utilization of available resources. The phenomenon reflects how civil society organizations can become influential actors in local political contests, operating within a spectrum of democratic participation and political pragmatism.
