Abstract

This research, entitled "Communication Management of Mosque Administration in Managing Islamic Holy Day Celebrations (PHBI) at Masjid Jami' Istiqlal Palembang", which aims to determine how communication management is implemented by the management of Masjid Jami' Istiqlal Palembang in organizing Islamic Holy Day Celebrations (PHBI). Masjid Jami' Istiqlal is one of the community-based mosques in Palembang that actively holds religious activities, yet still faces several challenges, particularly in coordination and internal communication among its management members. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with Henri Fayol's classical management theory, which includes four main functions: planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving mosque administrators, the PHBI coordinator, and related parties. The results show that the communication management within Masjid Jami' Istiqlal has been carried out but not optimally. In the planning function, meetings and activity programs are arranged collaboratively, though constrained by coordination and funding issues. In organizing, the committee structure is well-formed but inconsistently implemented. The actuating function runs effectively in certain periods, but communication weakens when the PHBI coordinator is less active. In controlling, evaluation and reporting processes are not yet conducted regularly. The main obstacles include weak coordination, limited cross-department communication, and insufficient human and financial resources. Overall, the implementation of communication management at Masjid Jami' Istiqlal Palembang reflects participatory and collaborative values among the mosque management and congregation. However, improvements are needed in coordination and consistency to ensure that PHBI activities can be carried out more effectively and sustainably in the future.

Abstract

Burnout is a common feeling of burnout that develops when individuals simultaneously experience too much stress and have too few sources of satisfaction as well as the result of energy use exceeding one's resources. This study is a type of quantitative research with a Cross Sectional approach, which consists of independent variables in the form of age, marital status, education level, working period, and workload and dependent variables of burnout. The population in this study amounted to 160 respondents with a sampling technique using Simple random sampling, a sample of 114 respondents was obtained. The instruments in this study used the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) questionnaire and workload. The data analysis used is the Chi square test. The results showed that all variables studied had a significant relationship with the incidence of burnout in inpatient nurses, which was evidenced by a P-value of < 0.05 in each factor. In detail, where the age factor (P=0.035); the marital status factor (P=0.018); the education level factor (P=0.015); the work period factor (P=0.034); the workload factor (P=0.035), are the main triggers of physical and mental fatigue that collectively contribute to the burnout rate of nurses, Therefore, it can be concluded that individual characteristics and the magnitude of job demands together contribute to the level of nurse burnout in the inpatient room.

Abstract

Background: Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) rupture is a prevalent injury necessitating reconstruction to restore stability and prevent osteoarthritis. The choice of graft fixation—specifically between aperture fixation using interference screws and suspensory fixation using buttons—remains a subject of debate regarding their impact on functional recovery. Objective: This study aims to compare the clinical functional outcomes of patients undergoing ACL reconstruction using the Double Bioabsorbable Interference Screw (DBIS) technique versus a combination of Femoral Button and Tibial Bioabsorbable Screw (Hybrid technique), utilizing the International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) score. Methods: An observational analytic study with a case-control design was conducted at RSU Haji Medan. The study involved 50 patients divided equally into two groups (n=25 for DBIS, n=25 for Hybrid). Inclusion criteria were primary isolated ACL reconstruction, age 18-59 years, and at least 6 months post-operation. Functional outcomes were assessed using the IKDC score pre-operatively and at 1, 3, and 8 months post-operatively. Data were analyzed using independent t-tests. Results: The DBIS group had a significantly younger mean age (41.48 ± 4.03 years) compared to the Hybrid group (43.92 ± 2.97 years, p=0.019). Gender distribution was balanced (p=0.777). IKDC scores showed significant improvement over time in both groups. However, there were no statistically significant differences in IKDC scores between the DBIS and Hybrid groups at any time point: Pre-operative (41.04 vs 40.84, p=0.881), Month 1 (50.08 vs 50.24, p=0.875), Month 3 (67.12 vs 67.48, p=0.767), and Month 8 (87.72 vs 88.48, p=0.448). Conclusion: Both DBIS and Hybrid fixation techniques result in comparable and favorable functional outcomes at 8 months post-surgery. The choice of fixation may depend on surgeon preference and cost rather than short-term clinical superiority.

Abstract

This literature review examines the physical stability of various natural extract-based preparations increasingly used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations. The main problem identified is the high phytochemical variation of the extracts, which can affect physical stability, such as changes in pH, viscosity, homogeneity, color, and texture during storage. The purpose of this study was to analyze physical stability parameters in various dosage forms, such as liquid, semi-solid, and solid, and to evaluate factors influencing their instability, based on selected literature from 2020 to 2025. The method used was a literature review through an online search of national and international journals relevant to the available data. Ten articles were used to support this literature review. The results of the literature review indicate that liquid dosage forms tend to be susceptible to organoleptic and clarity changes, while semi-solid dosage forms are strongly influenced by the stability of polymer matrices and emulsions, while solid dosage forms have the best stability due to their low water content. Based on the results of this literature review, it can be concluded that the physical stability of a preparation is highly dependent on the suitability of the excipients, the characteristics of the extract, and the stability testing method used. This review is expected to serve as a reference in the development of more stable and high-quality natural ingredient extract formulations.

Abstract

Unlawful acts constitute one of the fundamental bases for civil litigation within the Indonesian civil law system, particularly when the defendant is a business entity. In judicial practice, business entities as legal persons are frequently involved in commercial activities that may result in losses to other parties, including consumers, business partners, and the broader public. Consequently, claims based on unlawful acts serve as an essential legal mechanism to seek accountability for conduct that violates legal norms and causes damage. This article aims to examine the procedural framework for filing unlawful act claims against business entities in civil courts, to analyze the legal elements that must be established, and to identify evidentiary challenges commonly encountered during litigation. The research adopts a normative juridical method, employing statutory analysis, legal doctrines, and a review of relevant court decisions. The findings indicate that unlawful act claims against business entities tend to be more complex than those directed at individual defendants, particularly in proving the element of fault and establishing a causal link between the conduct and the resulting harm. Moreover, divergent judicial interpretations of the elements of unlawful acts contribute to inconsistencies in court rulings. Judicial decisions in cases involving unlawful acts committed by business entities have significant implications for legal certainty, the protection of injured parties’ rights, and the development of standards of legal responsibility in the business sector. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of the construction of unlawful act claims, along with a strengthened judicial role, is essential to ensure justice and legal certainty in civil law enforcement.

Abstract

Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning State Civil Apparatus (ASN) is a new regulation that aims to transform state apparatus management through strengthening the merit system and applying the principle of distributive justice. This study aims to analyze the regulation of ASN functions and authorities, examine the implementation of ASN duties, and formulate an ideal concept for the implementation of ASN functions and authorities based on distributive justice within the BKPSDM of Mataram City. This study uses an empirical juridical method with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the implementation of Law Number 20 of 2023 has been running normatively, but has not been optimal in realizing distributive justice due to the limited number of ASN, workload imbalances, and the uneven distribution of career development and performance rewards. This study recommends strengthening the merit system, optimizing supervision, and establishing a bureaucratic culture oriented towards fairness and professionalism.
