Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi pembelajaran pra-siklus di kelas X-11, SMAN 15 Surabaya diperoleh rerata nilai keterampilan kolaborasi siswa sebesar 85,07. Informasi tersebut menggambarkan bahwa kemampuan siswa kelas X-11 dalam berkolaborasi sudah cukup baik, namun tergolong perlu peningkatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memaparkan hasil implementasi pembelajaran berbasis PjBL dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan terhadap siswa di satu kelas X-11 di semester genap di SMAN 15 Surabaya pada Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi menggunakan rubrik penilaian keterampilan kolaborasi dengan skala penilaian dari 1 hingga 4. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai keterampilan kolaborasi pada siklus I (88,89) dan siklus II (92,88) setelah siswa menerima pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode PjBL. Dengan demikian, penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas X-11 di SMAN 15 Surabaya.

Abstract

Informasi keanekaragaman hayati bermanfaat bagi siswa dengan meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu tentang lingkungan mereka dan mendorong pembelajaran yang mandiri dan komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek melalui iNaturalist dan Insect Pinning terhadap hubungan rasa ingin tahu siswa dan keterampilan kolaborasi pada siswa SMA materi pelajaran keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas X siswa SMA Negeri 1 Cigalontang Kab. Tasikmalaya sejumlah 32 Siswa pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Materi yang digunakan adalah keanekaragaman hayati yang dikaitkan dengan proyek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila di sekolah tersebut. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif, serta kategorisasi menggunakan statistik empirik dan uji korelasi spearman antara rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan indikator embracing (2,83) paling tinggi pada rasa ingin tahu siswa dan indikator menunjukan sikap saling menghargai (83,38) pada keterampilan kolaboratif siswa. Berdasarkan analisis uji korelasi dan regresi yang digunakan, menunjukan terdapat korelasi antara rasa ingin tahu siswa dengan keterampilan kolaborasi dengan persamaan korelasi antar dua variabel Y=246,43 + 4,95X, memiliki nilai reliabilitas 83% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat hubungan antara rasa ingin tahu dan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati dengan menggunakan proyek inaturalist dan insect pinning. Pembelajaran biologi yang mengajarkan potensi lokal yang ada di sekitar dengan integrasi penggunaan teknologi dan hal yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, akan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna.

Abstract

Learners in the 21st century are required to master various skills that can be utilized to improve their life skills. Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is one of the skills that must be mastered by students, but it has not been maximally trained in the learning process. Factors causing the low HOTS skills are the limited number of learning resources and learning resources that have not linked to real events in life so that they have not trained HOTS. Based on this, learning resources that can train HOTS skills are needed. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of interactive electronic modules based on case studies of excretory system material to train high school students' HOTS skills. This research is a type of development research with the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The data collection technique used the test method in the form of pretest and posttest to see the HOTS skills of students in terms of the improvement of HOTS skills and the completeness of HOTS indicators. Students' HOTS skills have increased by referring to the results of the N-Gain calculation which obtained a result of 0.84% in the high category. Indicators of students' HOTS skills experienced completeness by looking at the posttest results where the C4 (analyze) indicator scored 87%, the C5 (evaluate) indicator scored 86%, and the C6 (create) indicator scored 89% with the category achieved by all indicators, namely very complete. Thus, it can be concluded that the case study-based interactive electronic module developed is effective to train the HOTS skills of high school students.

Abstract

According to the results of PISA 2022 in Indonesia, science literacy skills are currently very low. This study aims to describe the PjBL-STREAM model on fermentation material to improve students' science literacy, analyze the implementation, analyze the improvement of PjBL-STREAM and regular learning and describe students' responses to learning fermentation material with PjBL-STREAM learning and learning without STREAM. The method used in this study is Mixed methods with an embedded design research design type. The main data in this study is QUAN data regarding the improvement of students' science literacy, while the supporting data is QUAL data which is used as complementary data from quantitative research such as discussing the design of the PjBL-STREAM model, implementation and student responses. This study uses purposive sampling. The results of the study were that classes that studied using the PjBL-STREAM model experienced higher improvements than classes that studied without PjBL-STREAM with an N-gain value (0.51> 0.40). This success is also supported by the PjBL-STREAM model design which received validity from the three expert teams with a very high category, namely with a score of 0.87. The implementation in both classes produced a score of 100%. Student responses to PjBL-STREAM received higher scores than students who carried out learning without PjBL-STREAM. The success of this PjBL-STREAM learning model depends on the readiness of the teacher and the interests and motivation of the students.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types of plankton found in the estuarine waters of the Mangrove Baros Conservation Area and explore their potential as a learning resource for biology. Additionally, it seeks to analyze the validity and effectiveness of a research-based biology e-module on plankton in enhancing students' understanding. This research is an exploratory and development study (R&D) using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Plankton data collection was carried out through sample observations, while the e-module assessment was conducted using questionnaires completed by material experts, media experts, teachers, and students. The study was conducted from September 2024 to February 2025. The research instruments included interview sheets, validation assessment questionnaires, and response questionnaires. The effectiveness of the e-module was analyzed using the N-Gain test. The results of the N-Gain test analysis indicate that the biology e-module based on plankton research is classified as moderately effective, with a score of 71.6%. Meanwhile, the validation results from material experts showed an e-module validity level of 99%, and media experts rated it at 89%, classifying it as highly valid. Thus, the biodiversity e-module based on plankton research in the estuarine waters of the Baros Mangrove Conservation Area can be used as a valid and moderately effective teaching material to enhance students' understanding.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce audiovisual media for making mango peel wet waste composting starter to train valid and practical technological literacy and environmental literacy. The research method uses the Lee & Owens (2004) development model and adopts several stages from Branch (2009). The media developed was declared valid by material and media experts through validation tests and declared practical by biology education practitioners and student responses. The results of the study are known that validation tests by material and media experts are classified as very valid (100%), biology education practitioners are very practical (100%), and student responses are also very practical including one to one trial (91%), small group trial (90%), field trial (92%), and conduct a pilot test (93%). The conclusion of this study is known that the audiovisual media developed are very valid and very practical so that they can be applied in learning.
