Abstract

This community empowerment activity is in the form of training on the socialization of Reading Literacy to Students in Sawarna Beach, Lebak banten. The purpose of this training the students and school-aged children have the ability to read and become accustomed to reading. This training activity was held on February 13, 2018 in Sawarna Village, Lebak Banten. This activity is followed by students who are domiciled in the village. The participants have not fully read the habit either at home or at school. The lack of facilities for children's story books owned by schools and at home. Children or Students Kindergarten requires motivation and inspiration about activities and reading habits or reading literacy. Keywords : Reading Literacy, Kids, Empowerment Activity

Abstract

ABSTRACT                 All teaches need to improve themselves in terms of content and the teaching methods. Unfortunately, there has been a little enrichment delivered due to the pandemic which still occurs in 2021. This community service, therefore, is delivered to the teachers of special needs students at Panti Sosial Bina Grahita Belaian Kasih since to enrich their English knowledge as well as teaching skills for the special needs students. Needs analysis was administered to find (1) the Present Situation Analysis of the teachers, (2) the Learning Situation Analysis which cover the delivery of the community services, and (3) the Target Situation Analysis which cover the topics delivered during the community services. It was found out that there were twelve (12) teachers who would join this enrichment English class. Since bot all of them were English teachers, the English content should also be discussed during the community services. Next, the community services delivered five times through google meet and zoom meeting, on Wednesdays and Fridays in March 2021. The topics delivered are (1) learning styles and teaching methods for special needs students, (2) the English alphabets, (3) shapes and colors, (4) emotions, and (5) action verbs in English. The community services ran well. For better results, more meetings are needed to enrich the teachers’ teaching skills as well as their English abilities and knowledge, especially which are related to the special needs students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The digital era is carrying information and can be accessed anyone through smartphone in the hands. Hoax is one of the big problem which is often divisive among community. Hence, the importance of media literation for residents so as to have the ability apply thought critical of the mass media and doing so can raise awareness and responsibiloties as citizens.This society’s empowerment activity involving the writer takes place at RPTRA Dharma Suci. The reason choosing women  is to become a gate keeper who will filter the news for the children. Abstract

Business in the Resort & Spa business sector is growing rapidly. This increase in business in the hospitality sector reflects the demand for both local and out-of-town visitors. Visitor satisfaction is an important aspect of this service industry. Several studies also focus on the relationship between satisfaction and the behavior of workers in an accommodation. This is important because service delivery according to quality standards is also determined by the performance of the workers in it. This study aims to analyse the factors that influence Intrinsic Motivation. The research subjects in this study were the XYZ company in Manado which was engaged in Resort & Spa services and the objects in this study were 92 employees who worked at the company. This study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) with SMART PLS 3.0. Intrinsic Motivation variable is not influenced by employee expectations, then this study explains that employee expectations are influenced by work boredom. Furthermore, Intrinsic Motivation is influenced by Work Boredom.

Abstract

Almost all age groups have a difficult tendency in saving, especially in groups of children. Various ways that can be done in educating children in saving. Savings products for children from various Banks both public and private can be utilized in getting used to saving. Understanding the amount of savings that can be saved in a certain period of time should be known early on. It aims to prepare knowledge in children for discipline in saving and wise in the use of savings in the future. Through training in the form of the use of digital information in digging the goal of saving children is expected to be educated children about the discipline in saving, the amount of savings to be achieved and its use in realizing the wishes of children in the future. This research involves children from elementary school (SD) to high school (SMA) at the Orphanage. The results of this training explains that materials and implementations aimed at educating children in terms of savings that utilize digital information provide benefits and knowledge to participants. The ability factor of instructor/speaker is effective in giving the material to the participants. Device tools integrated with the Internet and the ability of participants to use digital information in terms of saving is still minimal and need to be familiarized.Keywords: Saving, Children, Digital Information, Training

Abstract

Recycling is one of the efforts that can be done to save the environment and can be a fun activity to do together. There are so many benefits that can be extracted from recycling activities and of course it will be very valuable for children. 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) is an innovation in order to provide learning media for early childhood. In addition to learning to take advantage of children's recycling waste, the purpose of this training is also to learn how to sharpen the motor by adding origami elements to the recycling work in the form of piggy bank that has been made. This study uses a collaborative and participatory action research method (PAR), which is a research activity carried out by involving the community so that they feel that they have a stake in the activity program and intends to participate actively in solving community-based problems. This study uses respondents of children aged 7-9 years who are from the Dharma Suci RPTRA located in North Jakarta. The results of this study show that children give positive responses in the development of fine motor skills by making hand movements cutting, sticking and folding. The selection of used milk boxes is quite appropriate, because most of them see and have used milk boxes in each respondent's house. Children love the theme of endangered animals because, these animals are not animals that they can see everyday. The choice of piggy bank as a form of processed processed goods made them enthusiastic to start saving early. Keywords: Children’s Motor, Recycling, Origami

Abstract

The regulation of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Number 196 (2015) on Child Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) explains the open areas for children that can be a positive medium for interaction and play. The development of RPTRA in DKI Jakarta is not fully funded by the DKI Jakarta government through the Regional Government Expenditure Budget (APBD), but the program also involves companies in the form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In terms of marketing, this synergy program can not only strengthen the organizations/companies involved in the CSR program but indirectly can help the existing RPTRA to more easily introduce the implementation of its activities through branding. The concept of branding for the organization is not an easy thing not only for the surrounding community as RPTRA's board but also for marketers. Social networking sites can be a powerful medium in developing RPTRA as an organizational brand that makes marketing communications have a significant influence on how organizations communicate to their customers. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of training on the role of social media to improve online organization. The method used by observation measurement at two periods (before and after training) and the effectiveness of training provided (using SPSS 22.0). The result of this training is able to explain the increasing effectiveness of the use of social media RPTRA Dharma Suci and utilization of supporting media elements in it such as photos, videos and so on. Suggestions for further research may consider the use of other social medias and observations over a longer time span.Keywords: RPTRA, branding, organization, social media

Now generally junior high school students are already very active in using mobile phones, including using this Android Behavior, making the idea of students of the University of Bunda Mulia, major Information System to development interactive learning media based on Android, which are considered not boring, and more effective for improving student quality. In designing the media a set of Android applications was created called Scan Evenku to Support Learning Event Registration. Learning media which are the work of students are software that can be installed on mobile phones, like interesting games. The application has been tested by RPTRA Darma Suci Penjaringan, North Jakarta. Abstract

This research was conducted to find out whether there were influences of E-Service Quality factors on student satisfaction. The objects of research in this study were the Active Students of Kalbis Institute in 2017, IT Department with 35 people. The variable used in this study is E-Service Quality and Student Satisfaction, the E-Service Quality variable is denoted as X variable, while the Student Satisfaction variable is denoted as variable Y. The data obtained was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that Responsiveness, Contact, Efficiency, System Availability, and Privacy have no partial significant effect on student satisfaction, while the Compensation and Fullfilment variables have a partially significant effect on student satisfaction. Based on the results of the F test, it can be seen that simultaneously Contact, Efficiency, System Availability, Fullfillment, and Privacy have a significant effect on student satisfaction. According to the author's observation, Kalbisphere faces several problems, therefore it is necessary to improve the quality of Kalbisphere so that students feel more satisfied with the future Kalbisphere services.  Keywords : E-Service Quality, Student satisfaction, Kalbisphere

Abstract

ABSTRACT                The Community Service Program organized by the Information System of Bunda Mulia University with the title "Utilizing Presentation Processing Applications in Supporting Learning at SMA Tarsisius 1 Jakarta", the main activity was carried out, namely providing training related to learning support application systems in the form of presentation processing applications. This activity was carried out online (virtual) with the help of google meet media due to the pandemic situation, namely COVID-19, which made this activity unable to be carried out offline (onsite). The main target of this activity is aimed at students who attend SMA Tarsisius 1 Jakarta. This activity aims to help increase the knowledge of the participants regarding the functional features available in the presentation processing application so that the participants can use the application by maximizing all the features of the existing functions. The method used in this activity is to apply a demonstrative teaching model and participants can see firsthand how to use the existing features so that it is easier to absorb. At the end of the activity, a questionnaire was distributed as feedback from the students of SMA Tarsisius 1 Jakarta regarding the training that had been given. The conclusion of this activity shows that the training on the use of this presentation processing application is going well with the results of feedback stating that 84.47% of participants stated that the material and the implementation of the activities were clearly easy to understand, and 83.68% of participants stated that the instructor delivered the material clearly and helped the participants understand the activity material well.
