Abstract

In the modern era like now, people cannot be separated from what is called digital access, often digital access has a major influence on social changes that occur either positively or negatively. Social change is a shift in the structure of society that involves the mindset, attitude and order of social life. Social change is also based on several factors, such as technological advances, intercultural contact, heterogeneous society and many other factors. Social change will always occur in any layer of society so that in responding to the changes that occur we must accept these changes in a positive form and put aside the negative in prder to advance the thoughts of a more open society. This study aims to tell what things affect social change, and what are the positive and negative forms of social change.

Abstract

One of the factors that lead to low student achievement is that the lecturers are less precise in using learning media. The purpose of this classroom action research is to apply the use of interactive learning media to improve student achievement in the Learner Development course. The design used by Kemmis and Mc-Taggart's action research model is a spiral. The final results of the second cycle obtained in a good category for improving learning achievement have reached a value with a good category of 84%, this exceeds the expected target of 75%. This indicates that the use of interactive learning media that presents learning content such as text, graphics, images, photos, integrated audio, video and animation are very suitable to improve student achievement in the Learner Development course.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the impact of using skimming and scanning strategies towards the students’ reading comprehension at grade 2 (two) of Vocational High School Negeri 1 Banyuwangi . Reading comprehension refers to the readers’ ability to understand the information of reading text. The use of skimming and scanning strategies in teaching reading is expected to be able to improve the students’ reading comprehension. Data collection technique focus on participant observation, interviews, and documentation. Skimming and Scanning is the appropriate technique to find the main idea, key word and content of the text without read the whole of the text. These findings suggest that there is impact of using skimming and scanning strategies towards the students’ reading comprehension at grade grade 2 (two) of Vocational High School Negeri 1 Banyuwangi. It is suggested that the teacher uses skimming and scanning strategies for teaching reading.

Abstract

Marriage is a legal event if the marriage is a legal marriage. The rapid development of science and technology has an influence on the ease of relations between human beings, between ethnic groups, and between countries in all aspects of life. One of the effects is the occurrence of mixed marriages between spouses of different nationalities, including Indonesian workers and workers from other countries. Marriages of different nationalities often cause problems, especially with regard to the process of registering a marriage that will take place, whether in the country of origin of the prospective husband or in the country of origin of the prospective wife. The procedure for marriage between countries according to international civil law explains that the marriage rules for couples of different nationalities, returned to each partner will use the law of the country of the prospective husband, or use the law of the country of the prospective wife. Problems that arise in the procedure for mixed marriages of different nationalities are at the stage of preparing a certificate from the marriage registrar and at the stage of preparing letters or other documents. The solution to the problems that arise in the mixed marriage procedure that has been prepared by the government is to provide clear information and provide a website for couples who are getting married. Those who are naughty must be given strict sanctions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the community structure of zooplankton in the river waters of the Cemara Banyuwangi Beach area.. Community structure consists of diversity and abundance. The results of diversity obtained 28 species, 8 orders and 11 families, while abundance ranged from 720 - 6391 cells / liter from I - V stations with a total abundance of 17,837 cells / liter. The highest abundance of species is Arcella Hemisphaerica with a total of 3386 cells / l. The life of zooplankton is also influenced by physical and chemical factors of the water. The river Cemara Banyuwangi Beach has a water temperature range of 28 - 31 ° C, water pH 7,2 – 7,9, salinity 2 - 5 and DO 5,5 - 8 mg / l. The results of the measurement of physical and chemical parameters are in accordance with the conditions of the waters for zooplankton life.

Abstract

This research was conducted to study the outstanding students of the history education study program at the University of 17 August 1945 Banyuwangi. The existence of achievements is important to understand amid changing trends in the learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic. The existence of learning achievements is a sign that there are still students who strive to take actions above the average despite experiencing various difficult situations in the learning process that are different from face-to-face learning at before Covid 19. This study uses a qualitative design through the phenomenological perspective of Alfred Schutz. Schutz's perspective is considered stable enough to be used because it is able to provide an overview of the process of one's actions. The results of this study found that the existence of student achievement is influenced by the deposition of past experiences and motivation to excel.

Abstract

Gadget usage is not only used by adults or the elderly.but also by adolescents.advanced adults even children age 3-6 years who as difficult as do not have a gadget if elementary school children use gadgets to add knowledge can have an impact on student achievement in school. Purpose: To determine the relationship between the use of gadgets and the learning achievement of school age children,to determine the intensity of gadget use at school age children,the intensity of gadget use and learning achievement. Method: This research is a quantitative research, with a descriptive correlation design. Sample taken by random sampling technique with a cross sectional approach. Results: From the results of the bivariate analysis using the chi square test, the p-value is 0.318 (≥0.05), so it can be concluded that there is no relationship between the intensity of gadget use and learning achievement in school-age children at SD Kartika X-5 Conclusion: The results of respondents who were female were 115 female and 39 were male. The results of the respondents using high intensity were 9.7%, moderate intensity was 27.3%, and low intensity was 63%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe whether a high current ratio reflects good banking performance. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research using a quantitative approach by conducting a literature review. The result of this research is that the effect of current ratio (liquidity) on ROA (profitability) is inversely proportional. The high current ratio illustrates the high level of liquidity. High liquidity results in high idle cash. It can be concluded that the relationship between the level of the current ratio and the company's return on assets is inversely proportional. If the current ratio level increases, the rate of return on assets will decrease. And vice versa, if the current ratio decreases, the return on assets will increase.

Abstract

Law is rule in the from of norms and sactions made with the intention to regulate all human behavior, maintain public order, for justice and to prevent chaos in all levels of society. Law is very important for humans, esepecially for regulating human life it self in an ordely and peaceful manner as well as directed and ordely in accordance with the function of law. Justice and law are closely related because the creation of law must be able to provide the value of justice in the law. In enforcing a law, the law must also uphold justice according the needs and portions of each. The real ideals of law are legal certainty, legal benefits, and legal justice. Justice is actually an element of the law created to regulate all human behavior anf human thought patterns.
