Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many impacts in various fields such as education, economy, development and tourism. Therefore it is necessary to take precautions so that the spread does not get wider and ends soon. The purpose of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) work program is to provide education to the public through the dissemination of COVID-19 vaccination and adaptation of new habits, as an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Gondoriyo Village, Bergas District, Semarang Regency. The COVID-19 vaccination is a form of effort made by the government to break the chain of COVID-19, with the intention that if vaccination coverage is high and evenly distributed in an area, it will form herd immunity. The method of socialization carried out is by placing posters and banners around Gondoriyo Village by complying with applicable health protocols according to government regulations. The socialization is expected to provide understanding to the public so that they continue to carry out government regulations to stop the spread of COVID-19. To support the government's vaccination efforts, it is also encouraging the adaptation of new habits in the community which includes 10 adaptations of new habits, namely using masks when traveling, washing hands with soap and running water, carrying hand sanitizer wherever traveling, maintaining a minimum distance of 1-2 meters, reducing mobility and reducing mobility. interaction, avoiding crowds, consuming vitamins and healthy nutritious food, keeping the environment clean, exercising at least 2-3 times a week, and getting enough rest. This socialization is expected to provide a better understanding of COVID-19 vaccination and Adaptation to New Habits (IMR) in the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Pencegahan penyakit akibat lingkungan yang kurang sehat merupakan upaya esensial di saat masih tingginya kejadian penyakit menular juga diiringi dengan semakin meningkatnya masalah penyakit infeksi baik menular maupun tidak menular. Semakin tingginya beban masalah kesehatan masyarakat saat ini mengindikasikan bahwa promosi kesehatan dan pencegahan yang telah ada kurang dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Banyak studi yang menemukan bahwa upaya promosi kesehatan dan pencegahan penyakit yang bersifat top- down dari pemerintah, kurang efektif bila dibandingkan dengan program yang berbasis masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, untuk mendukung Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS) yang baru dicanangkan oleh pemerintah, perlu dilakukan mobilisasi masyarakat dalam membiasakan hidup sehat sesuai dengan tujuan program GERMAS. Meskipun GERMAS baru dicanangkan oleh Pemerintah namun perlu dilakukan inisiasi mulai dari kelompok masyarakat paling kecil seperti dasa wisma. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini akan fokus pada 2 sub-kegiatan GERMAS, yaitu peningkatan kesehatan lingkungan dan pengelolaan sampah.. Kegiatan ini akan dilakukan melalui mobilisasi masyarakat untuk ikut terlibat mulai dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi kegiatan. Sehingga dapat diharapkan agar program ini akan terus berlanjut secara swadaya oleh masyarakat meskipun kegiatan pengabdian telah selesai

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world, including Indonesia, has greatly impacted the social and economic life of the community. This also happened and was felt very much for Indonesia, including Bali and its people as business actors in Kesiman Kertalangu Village, as one of the villages in the Denpasar area of ​​Bali. Economically, this impact causes a loss of community income as a result of widespread unemployment and short-term instability. To avoid and deal with these impacts more broadly, it is necessary to carry out continuous and integrated efforts to empower the community's economy with community components. Ngurah Rai University as an educational institution in Bali takes a role and participates in providing solutions to problems as a result of this pandemic. This is done through the Integrated Application Lecture (KAT) as a form of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, in Community Service through the Community Partnership Program (PKM) in the Development of Productive Economic Partners which is carried out for 1.5 months, for business actors as Foster Partners in Kesiman Village. Kertalangu Denpasar. This program is carried out as a step to deal with the impact of the pandemic on the economic life of the people in the Village.

Abstract

The library is the heart of a school which has a very vital function in supporting the learning process. Therefore, the school library with the ranks of librarians in it, has an obligation to "turn on" the library either through the services provided to visitors, or through other activities carried out inside or outside the library. Through the Institute of Research and Community Service of Nommensen HKBP University, several lecturers carried out community service activities to Senior High School Nasrani 1 Medan carrying out workshops in terms of fostering library management according to the demands and needs of the school . This activity is very important and meaningful, because it can help and better understand in managing in the field of collection procurement, collection inventory, collection classification, and main cataloging. Through this workshop, the librarian will further broaden his knowledge in carrying out his duties in serving students, teachers and other visitors who are registered and not in the library

Abstract

The government of Denpasar City is currently carry out a source-based waste solution program. Banjar Tegeh Sari is one of the banjars in Tonja Village, East Denpasar, that has implemented a waste management program. The problems of partners from Banjar Tegeh Sari and Banjar Tegeh Sari Foundation: 1. The administrators (prajuru) of Banjar Tegeh Sari have yet a customary regulations (perarem) on waste management; 2. Residents haven’t get any information, seeding and maintenance skills as well as business opportunities for maggot cultivation. The implementation method is carried out by: phase of requirement planning, and phase of implementation. The solution to overcome the waste problem is by: making customary regulations (perarem) so that residents will comply and participate in waste management. The solution for maggot cultivation is carried out by providing training on maggot cultivation to a group of residents in Gang Sari Dewi. The implementation of the Perarem-making activities began with literature study, discussion, drafting, discussion and submission of Perarem draft on waste to be discussed and ratified in the Banjar Tegeh Sari forum (parum). The implementation of maggot cultivation activities began with library research, discussions, preparing equipment, socialization and training on maggot cultivation to the community group of Gang Sari Dewi, Banjar Tegeh Sari.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah kurangnya inovasi guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran untuk mendukung keterlaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Guru dominan hanya menggunakan Whatsapp Grup sebagai media untuk berbagi materi dan tugas bersama peserta didik. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah untuk memberi informasi dan menambah pengetahuan guru tentang alternatif media pembelajaran yang dapat guru gunakan yaitu Edmodo. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan pengabdian berupa penyampaian materi dan informasi serta pendampingan pada peserta pengabdian untuk dapat mempraktikkan penggunaan edmodo. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian, peserta pengabdian dapat menambah wawasan dan mempratikkan penggunaan edmodo untuk mendukung keterlaksanaan pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Target pemerintah Indonesia untuk menuntaskan program vaksinasi Covid-19 selama 15 bulan di 34 propinsi dan mencapai total populasi 181,5 juta orang. Namun penolakan terhadap vaksinasi Covid-19 di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia termasuk di daerah Pasar Kemis Tangerang sangat tinggi. Hal ini disebabkan masyarakat pada umumnya lebih banyak terpapar berita yang tidak benar terkait vaksin Covid-19. Survei awal yang dilakukan terhadap warga usia lanjut didapat 85% responden menolak untuk divaksinasi karena kurangnya informasi yang mereka terima terkait manfaat, tujuan, keamanan dan kehalalan vaksin Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi serta pendekatan secara langsung kepada masyarakat. Hasil yang didapatkan dari 56 warga usia lanjut, 100% peserta menyatakan mendapatkan manfaat dari edukasi yang diberikan oleh tenaga kesehatan tentang vaksin Covid-19. Sebanyak 94,6% responden menyatakan yakin dengan manfaat vaksin Covid-19 dan 5,4% menyatakan ragu-ragu, 100% responden menyatakan bersedia divaksinasi Covid-19 pada periode Maret hingga Juli 2021. Terdapat 94,6% responden menyatakan vaksin Covid-19 halal dan sebanyak 5,4% menyatakan masih ragu-ragu. Terkait efek samping 100% responden menyatakan memahami. Kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dan memberikan dampak yang baik dalam merubah pola pikir terhadap vaksin Covid-19

Abstract

The dimensions of food security include four main components, namely: availability, access, use, and the purpose of this activity is to formulate and describe a plan for the development of a sustainable food house area in the SDG village, Bangsalsari district, Jember regency. The methods used are: field observation, FGD, and mentoring and training activities. The target audience for this activity are: Farmers and Young Farmers in Sukorejo Village, Bangdalsari District, Jember Regency. Abstract

Pada masyarakat etnis Betawi dikenal minuman ‘Bir Pletok’ yang sering dihidangkan dalam acara hajatan, acara penyambutan tamu, souvenir dan lain-lain. Minuman Bir Pletok tidak mengandung alkohol malahan baik untuk kesehatan karena mengandung bahan-bahan tanaman yang berkhasiat obat. Beberapa khasiat dari Bir Pletok adalah melancarkan peredaran darah, melindungi sistem pencernaan, menghangatkan badan, mengobati masuk angin, mengatasi sariawan, meredakan kram, meredakan migrain dan mengurangi gejala reumatik. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada mitra komunitas UMKM Bir Pletok Kedoya Selatan Jakarta Barat, dengan tujuan memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat komunitas UMKM Bir Pletok Kedoya Selatan Jakarta Barat tentang proses produksi minuman herbal Bir Pletok sesuai HACCP/CPOTB dan standar Badan POM RI. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah memberikan edukasi dalam bentuk pendampingan yang terdiri atas penyuluhan dan pelatihan mengenai proses pengolahan Bir Pletok yang baik untuk mendapatkan produk Bir Pletok yang bermutu tinggi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pengembangan mutu minuman herbal Bir Pletok sebesar 95% dan mulai menerapkan pengetahuan yang didapatkan dalam kegiatan produksinya

Abstract

The potential of fishery resources in the Terapung Village" Mawasangka District, Central Buton Regency is one of the valuable assets, but the income level of fishermen often occurs in the marketing and processing process of the catch. Lack of knowledge and ability of fishermen in maximizing the catch is one of the contributing factors . Therefore, the purpose of Community Service activities is to help partners in processing salted dried baby squid and fish shredded products, packaging and marketing products, inspiring people to be more confident in developing businesses to improve community welfare, creating collaboration between higher education institutions with society. The method of implementing activities with a community empowerment system is carried out through a transfer of knowledge and technology model for processing salted dried squid and shredded fish in two stages. The first is the provision of materials and training to students before going down to the location so that they can transfer skills to the community or target groups properly and correctly. The second is training on processing dried squid and shredded fish which begins with the presentation of material to add insight to the target group, namely the business group of fishermen's mothers and then continues with the practice of processing salted dried squid and shredded fish. The areas that are jointly resolved in this activity are product processing innovations which include: basic processing techniques for product raw materials, formulation techniques for processed product ingredients, packaging and labeling techniques, marketing management and business feasibility analysis. Indicators of the success of community service can be seen from the processed products of salted dried squid and shredded fish with flavor variants that have been packaged with labeling, marketing management and business feasibility analysis. After the implementation of the activity, the group that has been formed is expected to continue the program of activities by opening a business for processing squid and shredded fish. Based on the results of the implementation of community service activities, it can be concluded that the stages of the method carried out have succeeded in achieving the objectives of the activity, namely: 1). The group of mothers has been able to process salted dried baby squid and shredded fish. 2). The group of mothers has been able to package and market processed products, although online marketing still needs assistance. 3. This activity inspires the community to be more confident in developing businesses to improve the welfare of coastal communities. 4. This activity is able to create cooperation between higher education institutions and the community.
