Abstract

Using the Shopee marketplace, this research tries to ascertain how brand awarenes and online customer reviews influence purchasing decisions in consumers in Dusun III Batang Kuis Deli Serdang. This study uses quantitative descriptive methodology and collects data through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The population targeted by this study is everyone who uses the Shopee application, especially those who live in Dusun III Batang Kuis Deli Serdang. Respondents of this study will be selected using non-probability sampling and using the Slovin theory, namely 100 samples encountered during the research. Using the SPSS 22 application, multiple linear regression analysis was used to test the data collected for this study. The results of this study indicate that the calculated F value of 298,258 is greater than the F table of 3.09, which means that simultaneously there is an influence on the variables brand awareness (X1) and online costumer review (X2) on purchasing decisions (Y) in the shopee marketplace. Partially, it can be seen that the variables brand awareness (X1) and online costumer review (X2) have an effect on purchasing decisions, namely the brand awareness variable (X1) of 3.966 is greater than the t table of 1.660 and online costumer review (X2) of 4.714 is greater than the t table of 1.660. Based on the results seen from the coefficient of determination, the variables brand awareness (X1) and online costumer review (X2) have an effect with an R2 value of 0.860 or 8.60%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and buying interest on the purchase decision of cosmetic products. Using a quantitative methodology, data is collected through surveys filled out by consumers of cosmetic products. Data analysis was carried out using statistical techniques to test two main hypotheses: first, that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions; Second, buying interest also has a positive and significant influence. The study results show that both variables, product quality and buying interest, significantly influence purchasing decisions. Product quality is an important factor influencing consumer perception and purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, buying interest, which is influenced by factors such as brand awareness and marketing, also plays an important role in driving purchasing decisions. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that companies in the cosmetics industry focus their efforts on improving product quality and adopt effective marketing strategies to increase buying interest. This strategy must include product innovations that suit the needs and preferences of current consumers and the use of digital technology in marketing to attract and retain consumers. The conclusion of this study provides important insights for cosmetics industry players in developing effective business strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty

Abstract

Baitul Mal wa al-Tamwil (BMT) is a legal entity financial institution that carries out its operations in accordance with sharia principles. Apart from operating in the financing sector, BMT also operates in the savings and investment sector with a profit sharing pattern. BMT generally adheres to the principles of faith and devotion to Allah SWT. This is clear because BMT is a cooperative based on Islamic teachings. The function of this institution is to support the improvement of the economic efforts of micro and small entrepreneurs based on the sharia system. Therefore, BMT is used by its members as a household tool to overcome the problem of lack of liquidity or lack of capital independently. So this reciprocal relationship creates benefits for its members, especially for micro, small and medium enterprises

Abstract

Inventory management of raw materials is a significant form of control that profoundly influences the production process. Surplus or shortage of raw materials can potentially hinder production processes. One of the methods used in analyzing raw material inventory is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method in tofu home industries in Aceh Tamiang. The EOQ method is employed to optimize the order quantity and inventory costs, considering holding and ordering costs. This research also analyzes safety stock, reorder point, total inventory cost, and just-in-time principles applied to produce goods according to consumer demand. The results of this study indicate that in 2023, the tofu home industry made raw material purchases when inventory levels reached a point of 515.45 kg. The company's lead time for raw material ordering is 2 days, with a calculated safety stock of soybeans amounting to 219.45 kg. Significant cost savings were achieved, as evidenced by a total cost calculation of Rp. 556,866, which is much lower than the total inventory cost of Rp. 1,716,880. By implementing EOQ, tofu home industries can enhance operational efficiency and optimize resource utilization. The practical implication of this research is that the use of the EOQ method can contribute to improving profitability and sustaining tofu home industries in Aceh Tamiang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation policies and career development on the retention of Generation Z employees. Generation Z, born between 1995 and 2010, has unique characteristics in terms of work preferences and motivation. This research employs a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to 257 Generation Z employees in various companies in Indonesia. The obtained data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The analysis results show that compensation policies (β = 0.35, p < 0.01) and career development (β = 0.42, p < 0.01) significantly influence Generation Z employee retention. Fair and competitive compensation policies and clear, structured career development programs have been proven to increase employees' desire to stay with the company. The Adjusted R-squared value of 0.58 indicates that this model explains 58% of the variation in employee retention. This study provides practical implications for company management in designing compensation policy and career development strategies to enhance employee retention, especially among Generation Z.

Abstract

In Jombang Regency, the tourism sector is a new source of Regional Income (PAD), because in Jombang there are no Regional Regulations relating to tourism. So far, the management of the tourism sector is still haphazard, but the tourism sector has contributed to PAD. Apart from that, the tourism sector also contributes to reducing the number of poverty and alleviating poverty. However, during this pandemic, the contribution of the tourism sector to reducing poverty and alleviating poverty is very low, this is because many tourism sector businesses have been affected by the pandemic. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the impact of tourist visits on open unemployment and poverty alleviation. This research uses PATH Trimming model analysis with Natural Logarithmic Time Series data. The research results show that the results of sub-structure test 1 state that the results of testing hypothesis 1, which states that there is a negative and significant influence between the independent variable (X) on the endogenous (intervening) variable, are accepted. The results of testing sub structure 2 stated that the results of testing hypothesis 2, which stated that there was a positive and significant influence between the independent variable (X) on the endogenous (dependent) variable, were accepted. The results of hypothesis test 3, which stated that there was no negative and significant influence between the endogenous (intervening) variables Y1, Y2 and Y3 on the endogenous (dependent) variable Z1, were rejected. The results of sub-structure test 3 state that the results of hypothesis test 4 which states that there is a negative and significant influence between the independent variable (X) on the endogenous (dependent) variable Z2, are accepted. The results of hypothesis testing 5, stating that there is no negative and significant influence between the endogenous (dependent) variable Z1 on the endogenous (dependent) variable Z2, are rejected.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of price, location and promotion on purchasing decisions. The data used in this research is primary data collected from the results of distributing questionnaires to 60 consumers at Indomaret Mandai Maros. With a sampling technique using the Convenience Sampling technique. The data processing method uses multiple linear regression methods. Findings the research is found that price has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, location has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, promotion has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. As well as simultaneous testing of all price, location and promotion variables have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Keyword : Purchasing Decisions, Price, Place and Promotion

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of income on family welfare through financial management as an intervening variable in Tonasa Village, Pangkep Regency. This type of research is quantitative using a questionnaire to 90 respondents. Data collection techniques are library research and field research. Data are processed using path analysis, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, t-test, and sobel test using SPSS 25.0. The results of the first study showed that there was a positive and significant effect of income on family welfare. The results of the second study showed that there was no effect of income on financial management. The results of the third study showed that there was no effect of financial management on family welfare. Furthermore, the results of the fourth study showed that financial management was not able to be an intervening variable between income and family welfare.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of price on consumer buying interest with free shipping as an intervening variable in the Shopee application. This type of research is quantitative. The location of this research is at the economics faculty of the University of West Sulawesi. The population in this study were consumers who made purchases on the Shopee application at the Faculty of Economics, West Sulawesi University, so in determining the sample for this study the Hair formula was used. The number of respondents obtained was 60. Data analysis was carried out using the SmartPLS 3.2.9 statistical method. The results of this research show that price has a significant effect on consumer buying interest, Price has a significant effect on free shipping, Free shipping has a significant effect on consumer buying interest and Price does not have a significant effect on consumer buying interest through free shipping.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran mediasi adopsi media sosial pada hubungan antara variabel TOE (technological-organizational-environmental) terhadap kinerja industri kreatif yang dikelola wirausaha generasi Z. Survei dilakukan terhadap pelaku industri kreatif dengan berbagai macam usaha seperti busana fashion, musik, animasi video, kuliner di Kota Makassar provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Data dikumpulkan dari 100 responden dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Metode analisis menggunakan eksplanatori dengan alat analisis SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik teknologi dan lingkungan berpengaruh positif terhadap adopsi media sosial dan kinerja industri kreatif. Namun karakteristik organisasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap adopsi media sosial dan kinerja industri kreatif. Adopsi media sosial mampu memediasi pengaruh karakteristik teknologi dan karakteristik lingkungan terhadap kinerja industri kreatif.
