Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of price perception on Oppo smartphone buying interest in the community of Sukamulia Village Dusun II, Pagar Merbau District. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. With a population of 1,174 respondents with a tolerance limit of 10% which is calculated by the Slovin formula, a total sample of 92 respondents was obtained with a sampling technique using random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out by giving a list of statements to respondents, namely the people of Sukamulia Village Dusun II, Pagar Merbau District. This study uses the technique of simple Linear Regression Analysis, t test, and the coefficient of determination. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = 3.292 + 0.389X. Partial test results (t test) indicate that price perception variable it has a significant effect on buying interest in oppo smartphones. This can be seen from the value of t arithmetic (3,080)> t table (1,662) with a significant 0.003 < 0.05. With an R square value of 0.521. This means that the effect of variable X on variable Y is 52.1%, while the remaining 47.9% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know whether there is a significant effect of inquiry method on Students’ writing descriptive text ability at the X grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat in 2012-2013 Academic Year. The research method used is experimental method. The population of this research consists of 4 classes. They are all of the X grade students with 142 students. Two classes, they are X1 and X2 are taken as two groups of sample by cluster sampling. The whole amount samples is 70 students. The data are collected by using 20 items test as an instrument. The writer uses statistic processes in analyzing data. They are descriptive analysis by using the formula of “t-test”.After calculating the data, it is found that theresult of writing  ability on descriptive text taught by using inquiry method is categorized “good”. While the students’ writing ability on descriptive text taught by using conventional method is categorized “enough”. And from the data that has been collected, it is found that the result shows the score of ttest>ttable (3.6 > 2.00). It means that there is a Significant Effect of Inquiry method on Students’ Writing Descriptive Text Ability at the X Grade Students of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat. It can be concluded the hypothesis in this research is accepted.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyse the errors in using simple present tense. Descriptive qualitataive approach was used in this reserch. The subject of this research was 37 management students of Economic Faculty  Muslim Nusantara Al Washliyah University  Medan. The data were the sudents’  answer test.  This research was analysed by Surface strategy taxonomy proposed by Dulay et al. The results of the research showed that there are four types of students’ errors in using simple present tense. These errors are categorized into omissions, additions, misinformation, and misordering. The most errors made by students is  omission with 50,61%,and the lowest is misordering with  2,47%. Keywords:  Error Analysis, Simple Present Tense, Types of Error

Abstract

The objective of the research was to determine the effect of service quality and product quality on customers’ satisfaction at Bayu Lagoon Resto Tebing Tinggi. The type of the research was quantitative descriptive research. The approach used was survey method. The poupulation of the researchwas the customer in Bayu Lagoon Resto Tebing Tinggi consisted of 900 consumers. The number of samples selected in thi research were 90 customers. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, questionnaire, observation, and the combination among them. Technique of analyzing the data was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study at a significant level of 5% indicate that (1) Service Quality of Service had a positive effect on Customer Satisfaction proved by tobserved 4.438 with a significant value of 0.000 lower than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). (2) Product quality had a positive effect on Customer Satisfaction proved by t-observed of 5.080 with a significant value of 0.000 (0.000 <0.05). While, the determination test was 57.6%. Then the effect of differentiation in service quality and product quality on customer satisfaction was  57.6%, while the remaining 42.4% was affected by other variables unexamined in this research.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Employee Empowerment toward Employee Satisfaction at PT. Rotella Persada Mandiri Lubuk Pakam. The type of this research was quantitative research. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Rotella Persada Mandiri Lubuk Pakam with 45 employees and a saturation sampling was applied in this study with 45 employees. The data is processed with SPSS 20.0 for windows program. The data analysis technique  was a simple Linear Regression, with the formula Y = a+bX+e. A simple linear regression test result obtained was equation Y = 19,532 + 0.546 X + e, it means the employee empowerment has a significant influence on employee job satisfaction. The results of the t hypothesis test obtained that the value of tobserved > ttable = 4,215 > 2,017. Therefore, the value of tobserved was greater than the ttable hence the hypothesis was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis stating variable (X) has been proven or in other words there is a significant influence between variable (X) to variable (Y). And based on the determination coefficient test (KD) or R Square (R2) then it can be known that the value of R Square is 0.292 or with a percentage of 29.2 % while the remaining 70.8% is influenced by other variables that are not studied by researchers.

Abstract

Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai strategi mewujudkan desa inovasi melalui pengembagan potensi desa di Desa Mangga Dua Kecamatan Tanjung Beringin Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Sasaran pengabdian adalah Aparat Desa, Bumdes, dan Masyarakat di Desa Mangga Dua Kecamatan Tanjung Beringin Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Permasalahan utama selama ini banyak sumber – sumber potensi desa agar menjadi keunggulan atau ciri khas dari desa tersebut, namun belum optimal dalam mengembangkannya. Dalam kegiatan ini akan melibatkan 20 orang yang terdiri dari masyarakat setempat dan BumDes. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pendampingan secara langsung ke peserta. Hasil kegiatan pendampingan menunjukkan tanggapan yang sangat baik dari peserta dengan adanya respon yang positif. Peserta antusias untuk memberikan ide – ide kreatif terkait dengan pengembangan desa di era Scoiety 5.0dan memiliki tekat yang kuat untuk saling bekerjasama mewujudkan Desa Inovasi di Desa Mangga Dua kabupaten Serdang Bedagai.

Abstract

This study observed Siladang language maintenance in Desa Sipapaga. The objectives of the study are (1) to examine the factors affecting language maintenance (2) to find out the strategies in maintaining the Siladang language and (3) to find out the reasons of the Siladang people in maintaining their language. The method of this study was descriptive qualitative research. The participants were 20 Siladang people who live in Desa Sipapaga were taken by purposive random sampling. The research results are as follows (1) There are seven factors affecting Siladang language maintenance in Desa Sipapaga such as, Ethnolinguistic vitality, living together and see each other frequently, use of language in family domain (intra and inter marriage family, use of language in neighbor domain, use of language in religion domain, use of language in workplace domain, and practice traditional ceremony, (2) In maintaining the Siladang language, the Siladang people conducted some strategies such as; family language policy, using Siladang language in their daily life frequently, the using of Siladang language in cultural activity like in wedding ceremony. (3) The reasons of the Siladang people maintain their language are; they were proud of being Siladang people and speak Siladang language, and speak Siladang language shows their identity as Siladang people.   Keywords: language maintenance, Siladang

Abstract

The teacher is an educator who has knowledge in educating that can create generations to be more able to think logically and insightfully. However, the responsibility of being a teacher is very heavy, because you have to be more competent in your professional field. Writing scientific articles is one of the skills that must be possessed by a teacher. Where, writing cannot be separated from a teacher. The purpose of this study was to see how the process of increasing writing creativity was carried out by the teachers of MIS Al-Marwa. This research was conducted during workshop activities using the Classroom Action Research method which was carried out in two cycles (cycle I and cycle II). The data was taken by observing the activities of the Al-Marwa MIS teachers in workshop activities or workshop learning models with the aim of evaluating the teacher's creative abilities in writing articles. The analysis was carried out during the activities of the scientific article writing training workshop conducted by the MIS Al-Marwa teacher. From the results of the analysis carried out, there has been an increase in teacher writing creativity and this proves that the workshop learning model can improve teachers' ability to write scientific articles, where this model is rarely used by researchers.

Abstract

Tujuan dari PKM ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi dan literasi kepada masyarakat tentang pajak dalam upaya meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan Pelaku UMKM Tanjung Rejo.Pesertanya adalah usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah di Desa Tanjung Rejo. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah: (1) Penyuluhan (Sosialisasi) dan edukasi tentang Undang-Undang Harmonisasi Peraturan Perpajakan, Jenis Pajak UMKM dan UMKM Bangkit dengan Daya Ungkit Ekonomi Indonesia (2) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) (3) Pendampingan kepada pelaku UMKM dalam pemenuhan kewajiban Pajak UMKM. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah munculnya motivasi dan kesadaran diri dari para pelaku UMKM untuk memperbaharui informasi terkait pajak karena fasilitas yang ada sangat bermanfaat bagi UMKM. Pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap fasilitas perpajakan yang dapat digunakan. Pemahaman pelaku usaha tentang Laporan Pajak dan prosedur pelaporan pajak. Pengelola UMKM juga langsung menerapkan literasi harmonisasi peraturan perpajakan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini tidak hanya bersifat satu arah, tetapi terjadi dua arah dengan sesi diskusi.  Diskusi berlangsung setelah penyampaian materi secara tertib dan terarah.
