Abstract

The purpose of the study. The aim of this research is to determine the level (VO2Max) in the UIR Student Activity Unit. Materials and methods. The population in this study were 15 female futsal players at the Riau Islamic University. This study uses a descriptive method, which can be interpreted by describing or describing the current state of the research subject/object based on the facts that appear. the type of research is descriptive in which the variables studied are independent about the VO2 max of female futsal players which is measured by the bleeb test. Results. The average score for the VO2 Max level test for the Women's Futsal Student Activity Unit at the University of Isalam Riau with a score of 22.21%. Judging from the norm of the VO2 Max level, the category is classified as not good. Conclusions. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the VO2 Max level of the Players of the Women's Futsal Student Activity Unit with an average value of 22.21% which is located at the interval of 20.00 – 21.27 with a percentage of 40% in the category of Less Once.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The aim was to find the effect of kinematic variables on ball velocity of medium pace bowlers. Materials and methods. A total of 10 male cricket players who were right arm medium pace bowlers were selected for this study. The kinematic variables selected in this study were wrist angle, elbow angle, shoulder angle, hip angle, knee angle, ankle angle, and centre of gravity. Results. A regression equation with R2 value of 0.616 was obtained from the study, i.e., 52.266+0.371 × (right shoulder angle). Conclusions. The study suggests shoulder angle to be important factor in determining ball velocity among medium pace bowlers

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The purpose of this study was to find out how deep the response of students to the assignment assigned by the health physical education teacher in determining the number of respondents when the teacher gave physical education assignments. Materials and methods. This research was descriptive quantitative research. The research began by collecting assignments that have been given through online methods to students in the form of google form. The study population was 108 students of SMP IT Raudhatur Rahmah Pekanbaru, Riau. The sample in this study was all students of SMP IT Raudhtaur Rahmah. The sampling technique applied was total sampling. Results. The results obtained based on several assignments that have been given via google form in this study were as follows: For the subject of the passing and catching, dribbling, and shooting on basketball learning, the average scores were 54.25%, 46, 01%, and 42.02%, respectively. Teachers must be more active and creative in packaging the learning process so that it attracts students to take part in the Physical Education learning provided and considering that the response of students in learning physical education during the Covid-19 pandemic was low Conclusions. Online learning was very ineffective as a learning process as it was caused by many factors and can be proven by the low of student response in doing the task which has been given. a solution is needed so that the teaching and learning process can be carried out with an appropriate method so that students are not disadvantaged in the learning activities themselves, which not only receive the knowledge they need, but also includes learning related to the character and emotion that should be given by the teacher in the learning process.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. is to see if there's a link between of   male (Amateur and non-amateur) players  college of physical education & sports science Al-Qadisiyah University  functional sports screens (FMS) and upper limb function. Materials and methods. The competition attracted 100 volleyball players ranging in age from 18 to 25 years old. BMI is calculated as 60-75 kg for heights of 170-200 cm. Keep a digital record for later analysis. At least 3 months before to involvement, there is no history of musculoskeletal injury. The seven functional motor evaluation exercise modes (squat, hurdle step, overhead squat action, inline lunge, shoulder flexibility, straight leg elevation test, trunk stability push-up test) are employed as assessment tools for sports injury prevention. Questionnaire for the Assessment of Arm Disability (DASH). This test is used to assess upper limb function. There is a significant Pearson correlation coefficient. p≤0.05 is used to check whether there is a connection between variables. Results. Research results show that high scores for measuring arm injuries are different from performance screening test scores. (r=.178, P=0.01) There is a strong connection between them. Conclusions. Coaches and sports experts seem to believe that choosing the right exam for athletes is crucial.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted sporting events, which led to the cancellation of games and student-athletes being isolated at home and conducting their training online. The study looked at how student-athletes view themselves and their levels of optimism before and during the pandemic. Materials and methods. The study is a descriptive quantitative research that adapted the constructs of the Athletic Identity Measurement Scale (AIMS) and Revised Life Orientation Test (LOT-R). Slovin’s formula and stratified random sampling were used to select the respondents. Google Form was used to gather data on the 154 UST-IPEA student-athletes. For data analysis, Microsoft Data Analysis ToolPak was used as statistical software. Results. The results show that the factors of Level of Optimism, namely: Gender, Typology of Sports, and Competitive Level, do not affect the student-athletes Level of Optimism before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the factors of Athletic Identity, namely: Gender, Year Level, and Socioeconomic Status, do not affect the student-athletes’ Athletic Identity before the COVID-19 pandemic. However, one factor that affects the student-athletes’ Athletic Identity during the COVID-19 pandemic is the Typology of Sports. To sum up, the Athletic Identity and Level of Optimism possess a weak correlation. Conclusions. . Based on the results of the study, it is concluded to regularly monitor the student-athletes’ Athletic Identity and Level of Optimism by taking the Athletic Identity Measurement Scale (AIMS) by Brewer & Cornelius (2001) and Revised Life Orientation Test (LOT-R)).

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. This study assessed the effectiveness of this Sports Clinic Program of the Bataan Peninsula State University at Brgy. Pto. Rivas Ibaba, Balanga City, Bataan as it investigated the level of the social impacts to the participants of the programs were determined. Materials and methods. The survey questionnaire was developed by the Sports Science Cluster of Bataan Peninsula State University and was validated by experts within the province. The result of the survey was analyzed through basic statistical treatment. Interviews were also conducted to the participant to further enhance the quantitative data gathered. Results. The result of the survey results that participant strongly agree that the BPSU Sports Clinic support their understanding the sport, it supports the athlete’s self-awareness on sport, BPSU Sports Clinic supports the athlete’s technical skills and the coaching staff have high commitment to athletes. Conclusions. Based on the interview conducted with the participants and stakeholders, there is a strongly agreement that the objectives set for this program were attained.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. aiming to find out whether there is a relationship between the level of training concentration and the provision of futsal passing at the BOMBER FA club, Sawangan. Materials and methods. The method used in this study is the correlation method. The population in this study were the participants of the BOMBER FA futsal club, which amounted to 20 people. The sample is part or representative of the population under study. 3The sample in this study were participants of the BOMBER FA club, which amounted to 20 people. Results. According to the Product Moment correlation analysis, the value of rcount is 0.675 > rtable 0.532 and a significance value of 0.008 <0.05, which means "there is a relationship between the level of concentration (X) and the accuracy of futsal passing (Y).. Conclusions. Based on the results of the study, there is a positive and significant relationship between the Concentration Level and the Accuracy of Passing Futsal. Thus, the higher the concentration level, the higher the accuracy of futsal passing.

Abstract

The purpose of the study.The background of this research is that the results of the sprint run conducted by Pahlawan Elementary School students, Bangkinang Kota are not optimal and are not appropriate in their implementation. Materials and methods. Research Methods This research uses a pre-experimental method with One Group, namely Pre-test and Post-test Design. The data collection technique was purposive sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon test, Paired Sample T-test. Results. Research results based on the statistical output of "Test Statistics", it is known that Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) is worth 0.000. Because the value of 0.000 is smaller than <0.05. It can be concluded that "there is a significant difference between pre-test scores and post-test scores. test scores". Conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis, description, testing of research results and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between shuttle run training and the results of the 100 meter sprint run for the Heroes Elementary School students, Bangkinang City, with the statistical output value "Test Statistics", known as Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) has a value of 0, 000. Because the value of 0, 000 is less than < 0, 05. So it can be concluded that "there is a significant difference between the pre test scores and post test".

Abstract

The purpose of the study. The goal to be achieved is to produce a new gymnastics, with the name "Koribantes Young Generation Dance" which is a new gymnastics that is different from the usual Physical Fitness as an innovation of gymnastics whose objects are young people with a touch of music and movements according to the soul. their youth form of modern dance gymnastics. Materials and methods. The research method used is a model development research method in which a process or steps to develop a new product based on the theory of Research & Development. Results. The results of this study produce a new gymnastics: (1) New gymnastics that is devoted to for the millennial generation and generation Z (2) the development of a cardio training model with dance (3) The results of the effectiveness test of this exercise are feasible to use. Conclusions. From the results of small group trials and large group trials as well as discussion of research results, it can be concluded that "Koribantes Young Generation Dance" deserves to be a gymnastic product used by millennials and generation Z as a form of cardio training program to train strength keep heart and lung.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. (1) this study aims to determine the effect of leg muscle training on the speed of the kick taekwondo dollyo chagi in NTC Club Pontianak city; (2) this study aims to determine the increase in the speed of the kick taekwondo dollyo chagi in NTC Club Pontianak city after given leg muscle training. Materials and methods. The type used in this study is the type of quantitative research. This study is a way to measure the effect of leg muscle training using a test drill on the speed of the taekwondo dollyo chagi kick at the NTC Club Pontianak city, with a population of 8 male athletes in the junior class category. Samples used that have characteristics of male sex aged 15-17 years who are still actively training at the NTC Club Pontianak city with total sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of measurements and using a tool in the form of a Taekwondo Kick speed test dollyo chagi. The study was conducted for two months. Results. Based on the hypothesis of the effect of leg muscle training on the speed of taekwondo dollyo chagi kicks obtained a significant value of 0.2127 > 0.05 then H0 is accepted. Conclusions. (1) There is an effect of leg muscle strength training through drill exercises for each athlete on the speed of the dollyo chagi taekwondo kick at the NTC Club, Pontianak City; (2) There is an effect of muscle strength through drill exercises on each athlete on the speed of kicking taekwondo dollyo chagi at the NTC Club, Pontianak City.
