Abstract

The purpose of the study. This study aims to determine the difference in the effect of paired bottom passing exercises and bottom passing exercises reflected against the wall on the level of lower passing ability of MTSs YPPU Karimunting men's volleyball extracurricular participants, Bengkayang Regency. Materials and methods. The design of this study is a two group pretest-post test design. The sample of this study was students participating in extracurricular men's volleyball MTSs YPPU Karimunting with a total of 30 students. The instrument used in this study was the bottom passing ability test. Data analysis techniques use t-tests through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. Results. The results showed: (1) There was a significant effect of paired bottom passing training on the level of lower passing ability of MTSs YPPU Karimunting men's volleyball extracurricular participants, it can be seen that t count is 2.131 > t table (1.746), while p value (0.000) < 0.05. (2) There is a significant effect of lower passing training reflected against the wall on the level of lower passing ability of MTSs YPPU Karimunting men's volleyball extracurricular participants, it can be seen that the results of the t test obtained t count of 2.160 > t table (1.771), while the p value (0.000) < 0.05. Conclusions. These results mean that there is a significant effect of pair-bottom passing training on the level of lower passing ability of men's volleyball extracurricular participants at MTSs YPPU Karimunting, Sungai Raya Kepulauan sub-district, Bengkayang district.

Abstract

The purpose of the study. Development of batting equipment adapted to the developmental characteristics of children in elementary schools and portable baseball perch poles, which can be used on dirt and concrete courts. Materials and methods. This study uses qualitative and quantitative research using research and development procedures (Research and Development). a) Needs analysis; (b) Model development planning; (c) Expert validation from media experts and material experts, (d) Small group trials and revisions, and (e) Field trials and revisions. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data collection was adjusted to the model stages. The data collection stages were carried out in the early stages, expert tests, limited tests were carried out on small groups of 30 subjects, and field tests (field testing) of 60 subjects from two different elementary schools. In this study a closed form questionnaire was used containing questions accompanied by available answer choices so that students only need to mark the selected answer. The data obtained are grouped into frequency distributions, then the average percentage of group data is sought. Results. The research results from the first material expert validation test obtained an average of 81.94%, and the second material expert obtained 87.5% in the Very Eligible category. The small group test results obtained 90% with very good criteria, and the large group test results obtained 93% with very decent categories. Conclusions. The use of batting media that has been adapted to reduce weight, and the development of perch poles makes movement activities in small ball games more effective and efficient.

Abstract

The purpose of the study. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of giving ice massage  after training in reducing the occurrence of DOMS. Method. The research design  used was the Post Test Only With Control Group Design research method, the  sample size was 20 students. The sample was divided into 2 groups, group I was  the treatment group (kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization) and group 2 was the  control group (without kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization). Subjects performed  maximal contractions and exceeded the training load. Subjects performed 75  contractions and divided into 3 training sets. Each set of 25 contractions with a load  of 18 kg. After training, the treatment group was given kinesiotaping and nerve  mobilization, kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization were given after 30 minutes of  training in the treatment group, then the control group was not given kinesiotaping  and nerve mobilization. DOMS measurements were carried out using the talaq  scale, where measurements were carried out after kinesiotaping and nerve  mobilization were given and without kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization. Result. For the  non-kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization variables, the probability obtained was p  0.010 < 0.05. The difference between the treatment group and the control group  using the Mann-Whitney test obtained a probability of 0.026 < 0.05. Conclusion.  By looking at the results of the data obtained, it can be concluded that providing  kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization as quickly as possible can reduce the risk of  DOMS, whereas without providing kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization cannot  reduce the risk of DOMS. To avoid wider damage from the effects of overloaded  training, giving ice massage early will help reduce the risk of DOMS.

Abstract

The purpose of the study. The purpose of this research is to create a model of the Sports Massage program by application, specifically for sufferers of Lower Back Pain. the novelty of this product is: the sports massage program model is usually only given to athletes for recovery, but this time the sports massage is made specifically for the treatment of lower back pain sufferers. Materials and methods. This research method uses the Research and Development method. with a Flow Chart consisting of 7 stages, to produce a product that has been tested and is suitable for use, starting from: (1) Finding ideas (2) Making planning manuscript designs (3) Making initial product models (3) Revision of product I (4) Prototype production (5) Small group trials (6) Revision II (7) Large group trials (8) Revision III (9) Product refinement and producing final products. Results. The results showed that there was effectiveness in using the digital sports message model as evidenced by the data showing that there were 9 samples in the good category and 1 sample in the very good category. While in the treatment of massage not based on the application, there were 3 samples with the sufficient category. And the development of this digital sports massage model has the advantage of video content and books can also be downloaded so that people with lower back pain can do it for free in various places even at home. Conclusions. From the research that has been done, it can be seen that sufferers of lower back pain need a solution for handling massage that makes it easier for sufferers to do so, so the development of this digital sports massage model has good effectiveness in use.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The context of this research is that coaches and trainers must be able to adapt to competition as a result of the continuously changing technological landscape in the coaching process . Staying focused throughout training is the trainer's responsibility. This is important because, in addition to monitoring training progress, the trainer's role during sessions also requires the ability to evaluate programme results. To train the speed and endurance of kicks for taekwondo players , this research aims to design a speed and endurance training tool for Dollyo kicks. Chagi uses sensors, LEDs and digital accounting. Materials and methods. The following processes form a research methodology called research and development, which include: potential and problems; data collection; product design; design validation; design revision; product trials; product revision; and mass production. Results. Based on research, 93% of Taekwondo I experts are good at stage I, and 95% are very good at stage II. The assessment for stage I was 75% good, while stage II was 95% very good, according to Taekwondo II experts. Electrical expert I gave a good rating of 74% for stage I and a very good score of 95% for stage II. The Phase I assessment for Electrical Expert II was 90% very good, and the Phase II assessment was 95% very good. Conclusions. In small group testing, 71% of trainer evaluation methods were considered very good; large group testing was 89.37%; and product testing was 89.37%.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The aim of this study was to determine the impact of the problem-based learning approach on the educational outcomes of the Primary School long jump students. Materials and methods. This investigation employed a pre-experimental design experimental methodology. 37 children represented the study's population. With an average group size of 37 students, the study's sampling strategy was saturated sampling. The pretest, treatment, and posttest phases are used in data collection. The long jump test column is the tool utilized. Data analysis with the effect test (ttest). Results. The long jump capacity findings with the problem-based learning model with tcount=8.99>ttable=1.99 were calculated based on the data obtained. These results show that ha is accepted and ho is rejected, indicating a rise, when the difference between the pretest mean value of 51.85 and the posttest mean value of 66.36 is bigger, with a difference of 14.51 numbers if the difference is 28%. Conclusions. Students' psychomotor abilities are improved by the model problem-based learning because it allows students to concentrate on problem-solving as they are aware of the learning process's trouble spots right away.
